  1. ok... i know i'm a newbie here... i just scrolled thru the last 2 pages.. and i have one question... Dooj... you posted a picture of a family and in the back row there is an inserted picture of Tom Hanks... what's that all about???
  2. Royal-Gorge, I saw your earlier videos when you posted them... I can hardly watch them...they give me such a yikky feeling inside...not because of your filming ability, but rather the content. i was watching the one you did of the OSC ... sheeshhh... when you showed the bulletin board in the lobby I couldn't believe how straight everything was pinned to it... I WANTED TO GO AND MAKE EVERYTHING CROOKED!!!! What a sterilized unfeeling place!!!
  3. Ditto on what Strangeboy said... JAL's response seems TWI-ish ... they haven't lived outside that cult bubble long enough to realize what they REALLY feel yet. I feel for them trapped inside as they are.
  4. I'm here with you bro'!! hugs to your wife in her recovery

"Liona cultivated a reputation as a sex kitten, was Pierre Trudeau's longtime paramour along with a host of other notables." What's this got to do with her playing?? I'm sure many of the men guitarists who have been mentioned here have had very sordid pasts as well... does that have anything to do with their abilities???
  6. this reminds me a story i heard about a year ago from a teacher. the teacher teaches grade 1. This young boy all flustered comes up to the teacher and exclaims, all the while pointing his finger to a young girl in the classroom... SHE JUST SAID THE "B" WORD. The teacher, with the most puzzled look on her face, wondered which 'B' word he had heard. So she started to think about the many possibilities that the 'B' word could have at a grade 1 level since she did not want the boy to have to repeat the word. Now the 'B' word at this grade level is usually 'BUM' and not the usual adult terms that we are so unfortunately acquainted with. But before the teacher could solve the puzzle the boy blurted out YOU KNOW .... BAGINA... True story.

no be embarrassed.... i'm glad you had them that long to enjoy... and thank you again for posting all the pics... it was delightful... when are we going to see jeff??
  11. Garth.... hee hee hee ... no comment!! Evan... I still don't get the Swartratra bit? Is that a reference to something? Or is it just a strangeoid name to go with the strangeoid person who made it up? I knew KA's brother. He was in the 8th Corps... a real arsenehole. He's still in and says he sees the problems in TWI but can't leave since he employs so many TWIers for his business. (more like slave labour).

PB... here you go... .it's early JEFF but I think you'll enjoy this!!! Here is Jeff... He goes a little wonky at the end.. but he's got music pouring outta every pore!!! this other one is certainly dated... but a known one. enjoy. i have seen him in this band on saturdays that PB speaks of.. .believe you me... it's worth the trip to TO to see it... Enjoy. g
  14. Alfie.... Swattratra????? huh????? Socks.... hahahaha This whole thing is almost laughable. It's like watching a weird movie about weirdoes thinking they're gonna take over the world by convincing everyone that they have powers to contact the ALL MIGHTY... who happens to live on Pluto and grows hemp for a living... where does it end??? these people sure do like to complicate their lives... holy schmoly.. my advice to them: go see a good concert, have a few brews and enjoy the tunes!!
  15. CC, Are these for real???? People actually make decisions about their own personal lives according to other people's visions/dreams/prophecies??? Sounds like these people having these very vivid dreams have watched one too many Stephen King movies. sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh get a grip people!!!

  19. Yes.. am a huge fan of Vince Guaraldi's Charlie Brown's Christmas... but as of late.. I must say James Taylor's album is superb... above all my expectations!!! also, I purchased the Sarah McLaughlin..not that impressed.
  20. Stayaway, hee... werehole... btw... welcome to gs and interesting name... is that STAYAWAY from you or stayaway from CULTS in general or....???
  21. Great topic T-Bone and great thread all of you who have posted. Lindy... I loved your sculpture idea... i can see how that would help you come out of that mummy wrapping that TWI so conveniently made for us. I too had been so very stiffled being I got into TWI at 15...the stiffling was so egrained that I wasn't even aware of it. you just think this is YOU. and like rascal said, after you start coming out of yourself you are so thankful more thankful it seems than those who haven't had the mummification done to them. i recently started to dabble in photography...something I have always loved but never did. I now have them for sale in 2 local gift shops and we shall see what happens. I must say, inside I really don't care if i ever sell a picture.. but it's the fact that i did it... and i saw my work come to be. that was the true inspiration for me. Creative and critical thinking... what a freedom.
