Cool! Heading out to Baton Rouge, will check it again when I get back :) gc

I remember it too. Never had it done though, but always wished I had. Johniam, I'm not a grateful dead fan, so what do they have to do with tie dyed tee shirts? (Just wondering) I remember tie dying tees when I was a teen and I still own a couple shirts. gc

Yeah Tom, the runoff between a crook and a KKK wizard will give it away every time! :B) But I love my home! gc

I don't get the arguments by people who claim that Hitler didn't kill the Jews, or that Hitler and Germany didn't kill as many Jews as is being said, or that Hitler killed millions but these people who were killed weren't Jews, or m that Hitler did kill millions, and yes the millions that Hitler killed were Jews, but not REALLY Jews. Not the Jews of the same blood line from the OT. That whole argument sounds pretty ignorant to me. Its all a ploy to side track what was done, the evidences gathered, the first hand eye witnesses of survivors and soldiers who were first to arrive. Hitler thought he was killing Jews! Its old freaking history! If I heard someone say that the USA fought on the wrong side during WWII, with the knowledge that we have today (and 40 years ago for that matter) of what happened during the war, then I would have to come to the conclusion that they were FOR the killing of millions of people by systematic extermination. Because... The argument that VP believed we fought on the wrong side during WWII because VP was against communism is the weakest argument I've ever heard. I'm against crooks, but when I had to cast a vote for a crook or a ex-KKK wizard, I could judge which one was worse, so the damn crook had to be elected. Who thinks about communism in the face of what happened at the hands of Hitler and the Germans? gc

I've always thought that its a good idea NOT to use chemicals because you have grasses growing in your lawn that you don't like. And I'm considered conservative. I'm also considered Liberal by some, but then my more liberal friends get a laugh at that idea! gc

Thanks Tom! and I'll take your advice about the gum too. gc

I'm not sure I'm playing the game right, so excuse me if I've messed things up. Kris Kristopherson sang Me and Bobby McGee with those lyrics. I'm not sure those were his original lyrics, since I found lyrics that were similar where the word "love" was replaced for "home". It was best when Janis sang it though. If I'm right, I don't want a turn yet, wasway still your turn, if I'm wrong then it doesn't matter :) I'll keep watching.

I saw the movie, didn't find any humor in it at all (maybe I missed it while hiding my eyes), it was cold and cruel. Not my cuppa tea at all! gc

I've got one for you that should be in the Darwin or Stella awards. 5 teens were walking a neighborhood looking for trouble, carrying a gun. They came upon a lone woman who had just pulled up in front of her home, me. They stayed behind a large bush and waited for her to get out of her car and walk towards her front door. Once she was 1/2 way there, two of them walked up to her, one with the gun pointed at her face and asking for her money. She, knowing that a quarter, three nickles and a few pennies wouldn't cut it and could be shot because of it, offered the two her purse. They accepted, she threw the purse towards them, then ran (like a bat outta hell) towards a neighbor's home. I still miss that purse! Some hours later, one of the teens deciding that the armed robbery was so much fun, attempted to break into a car right down the same street. He was caught in the act. When the police questioned him about the armed robbery from earlier on, he, hoping to get on the good side of the police, said that he knew who the gunman was from that robbery. He was brought to central lockup. Within a couple of hours the police questioned the would be gunman of the robbery telling him that "so and so" (the car thief) is willing to swear that he, the would be gun man, was indeed the gunman of the armed robbery of the woman in front of her home. The gunman then admitted to the act and told the police that the car thief was also part of the armed robbery! So, the car thief had double charges! The police were able to clear up the armed robbery in less than 24 hours! gc

Starbuck's has real coffee? I once ordered a cafe au lait at one of the shops here. They didn't offer coffee with chicory at all. When I asked them about it I was told something rude like, "we are trying to teach you how to drink coffee" <_< I wasn't amused. I walked away muttering "damn northern coffee" ;) You can't screw up an espresso, so I would order that now and again :D Its been a long time since I've stopped at a coffee shop. gc
