David: I bought a few bottles at a health food store. It wa the best bottled water I've ever drunk. For some reason it is better than the distiled water I make at home and I can't figure out why. I don't care for now, though. I decided to put the bottles in the refrigerator to maximise the oxygen in them when opened....and when I opened the first and second there was no fizz! I assume that's because the bottes were cold. I noticed a peculiar phenomenon....my mouth sorta tingled when I drank it, particularly noticeable on the sides of my tongye and the mucose under it. Howcome? BTW - how long would one have to consume this water exclusively before one could expect any noticeable change in oneself?

Does he possibly have a hearing problem? Does he need glasses? If they suggest testing him for a learning disorder, take them up on it. My son was finally tested after I pulled off a planned staged Acadamy Award winning stunt in the Guidance office....after asking for years. He was then a freshman in high school. They found a problem....some "minor" thing where hes input and output got confused. I don't think all the kids labelled with such and such "disorder" are really disordered. I firmy believe they have different learning styles and sometimes change from one to another. Yes, they do make a big deal about making them all conform to the school's way. If he's a young 5, he could have more difficulty adjusting. Stay calm and listen to the Rev. Mother.

In the garbage can (all of them actually but it started in the bathroom) I put several bags in the bottom so if I have to take something outside real quick, there's another bag in there just to pull up. I used regular un-clumpable litter...and sometimes it was necessary to get it straight out to the garbage can outside!

David: You may call me krys, many folks here do. As to the textbook vs the real thing in biology...If you were looking at diagrams, well - that's somebody's idea of what things look like. If you meant real photos, please recall...every individual is unique and on the inside organisms vary too. Also, those photos are done of specifically sacrificed organisms which are either "freshly killed" or preserved in an expensive superior way. For beginning biology students, you're not gonna get the good stuff becaue you have no skills in dissection, so please don't be offended by that remark. By the time you got your specimed, who knows how long it had been in that formaldehyde??? That stuff shrinks tissue and bleaches it...also makes it tougher than life...so forgive your lab aid! (I'm being facetious here) As for the massage....I have always made it a point to be well hydrated, so I've always consumed an appropriate amount of water. The practitioner advised me after the treatment to add at least 2 glasses to my normal regimen after I went home until my urine returned to it's normal color. It took 2 days....then I resumedmy normal pattern. Sorry I didn't make that clearer. For everybody reading....don't believe that your kidneys do all the work in removing toxins. There are internal and external cleansers. Externally the skin and the lungs, internally the liver and idneys. The liver and kidneys work together very much like the old volleyball rules....set up and pass. The liver does the majority of the work in the setup phase reducing toxins or manipulating them in some way to render them as nearly harmless as possible and sends them, via the bloodstream to the kidneys where the kidneys pass them out. Rejoice, rebounding is good....but almost any kind of vigorous exercise, especially involving the legs mucles will do a good job too.

This is a bad thing?

When cleaning my own house I could never clean and declutter at the same time. One would distract me from the other. Now-a-days...I don't have the ability to do muchin the line of heavy cleaning, but I do do some. Different strokes for different folks - I would absolutely never use garbage bags for anything other than garbage. Dear Husband considers that anything in a garbage bag is garbage. One year when there was no choice between paper and plastic at the super market...I bought the Halloween candy early and left it in the paper bags in the coat closet. (We used paper bags for garbage and put those into larger containers to take to the curb.) I don't know when he did it....but somehow he did remove those candy bags to the curb and I never knew it until the kiddos came ringing the doorbell 10-31! So - - I put everything in a large box. While I watch some of my favorite TV things...I take the box with me and sort through it...these go in the bedroom, these in the office ....these are garbage etc. I put them in small piles aand then during the commercials I put them away. The beauty of a quick decluttering is that you are pretty well assured that if it's in the clutter it's not essential. Put it in a box and clean the room...use the quick ideas above. If you don't get the box cleaned out right away, you can hide it on the floor of a closet and nobody is the wiser.

So were we all Reverand Mother. But there are only 2 that really apply to us....love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength....and our neighbors as ourselves. "On these hang all the law and the prophets."

I don't think it falls into one of those things that we shouldn't even consider. Igotout's questions are very pertinent. I know you didn't ask me, John, but I will put forth an answer anyway. [old bags like me just have to chime in.....] I believe that we will not have any of those desires, for we shall be transformed in all ways....and according to Paul, now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face and we shall know all things. There is a sword that is able to separate between the bones and the marrow. I cannot understand how that can be done, but I believe the One who owns that sword knows what he's doing. I don't get nearly as angry anymore since I've come to think things more often in that light.

Would you care to be more specific, Shell? What kinds of things?

David - I taught high school biology for 20 years or so. Aside from regular exercise, the best way I know of to move lymph more quickly is a theraputic full body massage. The appointment of my first, the practitioner advised me to drink plenty of water for a day or two, which I did....but for aomost 3 days there was considerably darker urine than normal. I think it's time to see if I can squeeze such a massage every once in a while from my disabiity "allowance."

I've been using the swiffer duster. With my asthma, it does a better job of picking up dust...a feather duster is totally out for me. Also - One Mom to Another: It is not too early to start training the love of your life to clean and cook and do his own laundry. If you haven't started, this is as good a time as any.

I apologize David. I never thought about immediate benefit to the gut. If it is well oxygenated, the rest of the body can use what it does not need. I will re-think on the plasma levels. Perhaps this is something has a value I didn't consider being so narrow minded as I am.

I'm glad you're here too Reikilady, you do add much to these forums.

It depends on what you use a chiropractor for! He or she is not going to rid your teeth of cavities, although some claim almost as much. Many years ago I had a problem with my right arm. There was some pain in the upper back, but I kept dropping things...especially when washing dishes at the sink. To shut up one of my friends, I did consult her chiropractor, and the discomfort gradually subsided. It took about a month of active treatment but I regained full function and after about 4 months of maintenance the problem never returned.

The only way I know of to boost one's oxygen level in the blood is in a hyperbaric chamber. The atmosphere within can be regulated so that the patient breathes pure oxygen under several atmospheres of pressure. This supersaturates the hemoglobin to remove carbon monoxide and to treat certain bacterial diseases like tetnus and flesh eating staph. I suppose in a healthy person, there might be some short term lasting effects perceived as a boos of energy. I don't doubt, however, that people will feel better and possibly be more energized...but that would come from the benefits of drinking distilled water. The best way I know of to acquire and maintain a high energy level is to use distilled water...eat properly avoiding refined sugar (but I don't always do that - sometimes I just have to have my chocolate) and supplement a not so perfect diet with all the B vitamins together + some extra C just for good measure!

Thanks John. I think I love you.

Did I hear you correctly johniam - - these goons might not be arrested for this???

Yes, Simon - I'm old. I'm sorry - I didn't mean to toss you off the thread!

I'm not into instigating a fight over here. I would never have considered it, BUT a friend of mine gets a very good discount (although we have not discussed price yet- so I have no clue about cost) and I know they are excellent for graphics which is what I'm needing for my stitching designing. I will listen and respect any and all posts pro and con. This is a true solititation for suggestions.

I'm not so sure I can get a hub back there. It's a pretty tight squeeze as it is.

I follow baseball! I grew up watching the Dodgers in Brooklyn where half my summer diet was stadium hot dogs. But I guess you can yank my chain over there if I get out of hand. No doubt Artest and the rest of the athletes have to shoulder this monkey. The sportscaster's point was that both fans and players get charged up watching games, and I think he was insinuating that the beer removes some constraints on the alreay excited fans and some lose control. I'd love to see the proper authorities to find the idiot who tossed the chair into the mix! Personally I'd like to see his head roll as well.

I just don't get it! If a mentally sound adult having intractable pain and no hope of recovery cannot request relief from his doctors, via medical means, that sounds to me like torture. Doctors take an oath which says "first do no harm". There's no harm in insisting that such individuals live a few more days or weeks in such conditions, but it IS harmful to shorten their agony? Don't tell me that I don't believe in the sanctity of life, because I do! But I also believe in mercy and I don't understand why a patient beging for relief must be denied.

Simon - are you making fun of me? or yanking on my chain because I don't post here?
