Maybe so for Jane Q. Public, but not any godly woman I know...unless it is obvious flirtation. No we get the same feelings, I assure you although I can't say if they are identical. We feel horny...we just express it in other ways...this is one of the few times, we're not so verbal! I can only speak for myself on your other comment, but my husband would never initiate anything if he knew I was sick. We'd spoon sometimes if I was sick, or he was, but there were occasions where I asked for a rain check...sometimes he'd press a little and I changed my mind...sometimes I wouldn't. We honored each other that way...but again, I can't speak for Jane Q. Yes we are, but it's not just mentally so - - there are real differences that are built in. ====================================================================== As for hormones: I did have month to month aggravations, but I was never pregnant as we adopted our children. I can speak about menopause and that was (for me) a nightmare and a half. By the time I got to that stage in my life I had learned to control my outward self enough but that made it even worse. Daytimes were sometimes tough, but night sweats were so bad that when they woke me up I felt scuzzy enough to need a shower at 3 am. When I was done, often I'd try to go back to bed, but the sheets were still damp so I'd lay on the sofa in my robe. Lack of sleep together with hormonal surges during the day make for one cranky lady. Trust me.

That sounds just fine TheEven. Please let us know how it went.

Sirguess; CM; socks; I appreciate so much your comfort. jkb - to me, the term "altruistic" is an insult. It is a term that could be applied even to lower animals and has in and of itself, little humanity. This thread really doesn't belong up here where ordinary peeps such as myself can get too far into it and frightened out of their wits because they get into it and can't follow it sufficiently and draw the wrong conclusions. I will be happy to read and follow the discussion in the Doctrinal forums, because I can keep proper perspective there. jmnsho

wait up just a minute - - I can't understand this so fast, but I'm willing to read it...I have to know.....was I stupid enough be believe a deliberately made up out and out lie? Is that where this is going? I prayed for people, ministered even, and they got better - - a couple were genuinely miraculous, was I using devil spirits to do that? I know people were changed....I'm just not sure now....that I really helped them. I need an answer....and I am willing to suffer public humilation to get it.

Raf: I think those years are probably the best divisions possible. Some people may vary a little depending on where they lived. I know some parts of the country were a little ahead (or behind) the others. Nandon: One witnesses in a 24 hour truck stop even if it takes a whole hour to get there; I also went to a few 24 hour grocery stores and a few highway gas stations.

It's timely because we notice a few new voices here, and every time we see this, we know, once again, somebody saw the light and acted upon it. It's important for me to tell all those of you who are new, and those of you who are reading and considering what you will do with twi - enjoy yourselves here. Hang out on the front pages and read the literature provided. It will take some time, but I encourage you to click on the link that Raf posted and really read Research Geek's Top Ten list. The Private Topics here really are private, so if you have questions you want answered, you can PT one of us "old timers". You can pick us out by the date we joined this forum if you don't recognize a name. We don't know who you are...but if you ask, we'll tell you how we see things. I'm very thankful to Father for your presence here. Truly - I am.

That's wonderful news and I'm happy to hear it. You guys bring a lot of joy and happiness to these forums and the chatroom, so I'm sure you must live in a home full of it. May it continue ..............

I agree with you on the gift idea mstar. Something to serve as a tangible reminder of the day is appropriate. Pearls don't have to be expensive, perhaps a pearl pendant or pair of ear rings. Fresh water pearls are very attractive and are much less costly than salt water ones.

George - I promise you it's not a game. This is actually the way women think. We can say things like "I'm hungry" and "I'm tired" but we prefer not using the "horny" term because we think of it as making love and horny doesn't convey that part of it. It's really true that men and woman think differently, it's not a myth, it's not a game. It's not something women will say to get out of a conversation or to confuse you guys. There are real structural differences between male and female brains and these differences occur in structures which communicate between the left (analytical) and right (creative) halves of the brains. And, of course, we woman are sometimes held captive by hormones which we cannot control. You may have heard this before and thought they were excuses. They're not excuses, they are reasons - - and there's a world of difference between the two. On another note: I don't know you at all, but I have always enjoyed reading about your travels to the Far East. I'm sorry you're now in this situation and I wish I could be more helpful.

When I lived in New Mexico, both apartments had metal roofs. They were noisy but once you got used to it, it was rarely a problem.

I know of 2 women who had vaginal repair along with corrective bladder repair surgery after birthing a couple of large babies. I don't think that we should be commenting on that part of these conversations - - that's between the couples themselves...don't you think?

It's not likely they'll get off easy! Not now anyway. They tell us in this State they are getting tougher on CPS. I believe Gov. Cody - -too bad he's chosen not to continue as governor.

Both men were sick and I'm not sure but I think the second was the sicker of the 2! Nevertheless, it's good that the prosecuters are trying to get a stiffer sentence. That's good.

Of all the people I know who've lived together without being married first, the only ones that survived the process were those who knew beforehand that they would marry at some point in the future. The only exceptions are those who are older, and live together without marriage for legal reasons to protect assets for their children...and these folks were well into their sixties at least. If someone has been divorced twice I understand why they would hesitate to embrace a third marriage - I probably would think the same way. If he hasn't addressed the issues that resulted in the 2 divorces, and corrected them - I'm not so sure I'd be happy living with him, let alone marrying him. I don't want to be discouraging. Just be very careful, because once you take yourself permanently off the "dating market" it's really hard to get back into it.

Among other things marriage is a contract. Living together should be too. What do you plan to do about finances? Who will pay the rent - or will you share it 50/50. Who pays for groceries? utilities? car insurance? medical needs? Before anyone hires a moving van, maybe it would be good to work out these details. And don't say they don't matter! They will!! What about your (and his) personal property. How will he feel if you tell him to get his feet off your coffee table? Personally I avoid the "shacking up" terminology and prefer living together. Will you be "playing house" or forming one household of 2 people. Will you really be getting a companion? or will it become football party every Monday night when he brings home 4 of his buddies without asking you....every Monday night. Next time the topic comes up, look for some answers to some practical areas and listen carefully to what he says when he answers.

Coal is much to valuable a resource to just leave it in the ground. There are much cleaner ways to use it now than what once was. Mines need to be much safer and maybe more mechanization might help. They use robots in the auto industry, maybe they should look into using them here too. The miners families and communities have my prayers also.

Sanguinetti To Take A Bite Out of the Big Apple On New Years Eve
krys replied to Mark Sanguinetti's topic in Open
If you're going out to watch the ball drop, watch your step. You're not used to NYC Police and "tight" security here. For Pete's sake, for once in your life....go with the crowd and blend in! -
If someone will hold my coat, I'll sit on her 'till you get all the knots tight enough. Afterwards, I am going pie shopping!

Holy Moley Ron, you've been studying! I didn't think anybody on these forums 'cept Zixar and I knew about C3 and C4 plants!!! Where did you learn all this?

Fillet Mignon (grilled to order)! My son and his wife invited us for dinner. They supplied much of it but everyone brought something special to contribute. After dinner, beautiful music brought me down the hall and one of the cousins was playing her violin (she's a freshman in hs and only started last July, but this is her 4th instrument to master) while her mother chimed in with her flute. The other aunt strummed her guitar and I was in heaven. We listened some, sang bunches of Carols and a few other songs. This was a class act - impromptu as it was. Sinfully elegant chocolate cake, specially coated apples, cheesecake and coffee finished the evening. My gift was seeing my son and his wife secure in their loving relationship entertaining those who were most important to them. They did so with such elegance and grace and from loving thankful hearts - so that everyone there was only 1 family. There were 6 teenagers and all of them came to the music room to listen with the rest of us. IMHO there is no better gift that I could have received!

God: Just keep talking to me as long as you can. Me: answer my question please God: Your polite style is very nice. Please try asking it another way. Me: why does man fight against man? God: If a tree falls in the forest, and there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound? Me: that's one question you're supposed to answer for me! God: That is just one of many question I am supposed to answer for you. Me: you're a stupid god God: Thanks and you are a delightful person too. No I am very smart. Me: nope God: Me either. Me: merry Christmas God: Merry Christmas to you too, krys.
