  1. Would you like fries with that?
  2. IMHO Alex was talking to his ex-wife, not his daughter! And what has Ireland learned over the years? That there is no safety; that whatever she does will bring down the rath of one of the parents; that she, herself, may have very little value or worth as a person. This is the biggest tragedy of all. Both parents should be dealt with according to the degree each has contributed to the pawnship of their daughter.
  3. 100 here but it wasn't all from twi. I learned a lot in Sunday School.
  4. I don't think Williamsburg is too far from there excie. We went and the kids loved it best of all the historical vacations we took.
  5. It's always good to stop and reflect! Ok, then - Mr. O'Malley - let's see what you've got. Cast out your nets, I'm interested in seeing what becomes of it [and if some of you who like being blathering idiots - would please go blather over there -------> I'd really be blessed 'cause this is a serious post on my part]
  6. Coolchef, if he really did humble himself and mend his ways, there's no telling what he could still do - and there's the worst shame of it. He has time to make some ammends, at least to God!
  7. Groucho you have a wild imagination! I can't see him ever logging on and speaking to us. He doesn't have the cojones OR the guts! I would like to be proven wrong, though for no other reason than it would be the first time in my life I ever had the ability to walk away and not listen if I wanted to!

    He Is Risen

Seriously you guys know me! I am not a vp fan - and as you could predict, he didn't research and write this one either. The work is sound - read it for once if you still have it, now that the twi scales have dropped off your eyes and see if it doesn't make this a richer experience for you now. k

    He Is Risen

yepper! And I for one, am very grateful! It wasn't until I read and understood JCOP that I really began to understand how great that really was! But let's not drive this down to doctrinal.
  10. Doojable - I don't think that's the proper way to ask for an application!

    Happy Birthday

I am sure I've done the same thing. So I'm sorry to do the same thing.

    IQ Tube

I spent quite some time at that site. Thanks Satori - it's in my bookmarks now.
  14. I agree that she has the potential but she's not running as far as I know.
  15. The only problem I have invisioning a woman in the White House is that the only possible example IS Hillary. I don't see any other politically active women for this 2008 election. There are too many interesting men presently running. Have I missed somebody (other than Hillary, of course)? Because she would have to poke her head up above the minions pretty soon to be seriously considered.
  16. In wayspeak it's a man who has the gift ministry of a Prophet, Pastor, Teacher, Evangelist, or Preacher?

    The Wave and The Nod

Not Quite Sara. Inside the supermarket where we often have to jostle our baskets in spaces too small to fit more than a case of peas! And even at the checkout. More than once, I've been standing on a long line with basket with just a few items in it,and along comes another checker to open a new register. She will wave me to her and the person behind me has at least one overflowing basket. I'm so close to the checker in my lane, that it really doesn't matter so I offer the spot to the person with the packed basket and she passes! But it changes the mood in that area. One nice gesture seems to brighten everybody's day no matter where you get the opportunity to pull it off....driving along the highway, inside a supermarket, or any other place. It's contagious. People crave a little bit of kindness done to them...and when they get some, they multiply it by passing it on to at least 1, and maybe 2 other people. Kinda cool to watch, actually.

    The Wave and The Nod

Yes it does seem to say that. If we're not clawing our way through traffic not only are we not distracted and angry, but we remain balanced for the entire day. When I come to a strange intersection or that difficult left turn at a light that is just 3 seconds too short, that wave and not make me feel special! Somebody thought kindly of me...and that seems like a blessing which carries me a long way through my day. I've found this works in supermarkets too.
  19. Rascal, and everybody else who holds these thoughts: it wasn't God who "lured" you into PFAL and thus the ministry. Everybody puts the blame OR the credit On God. God is. God exists. He lives! He has His set of rules. He loves with an unfathomable love. TWI was not, and is not, and never was God. The organization sent out it's reapers and collectors to collect people to pay money for a class. We did pay the money. We sat through the class. We followed along.....we did this because we became indoctrinated with lies. We didn't have the whole truth. I don't think you can blame all the rotten stuff that went on on God. You can blame it on people who were acting "on his behalf" or so they thought. It was a nasty religion that we were part of. God is so much bigger than any organization. Learn to separate the 2. I can't explain why I stuck around so long. I guess I was mesmerized as well for a long time. But we are out now. NOW is the time for us to do something else with out lives. We are still God's kids, and he cares for us very very much. We were indoctrinated to believe them and every other church or even bible thumper was evil, off the Word, filled with debbles. So - that's how we learned to think. We have to UNlearn that part. Now it is most probably true that no person, organization, denomination etc has the Truth and teaches it. I doubt that any such has it all at this moment. But that doesn't mean we can't use the truth we know. I don't know why people perish in fires, or why cute dogs get run over by cars or specifically why anything like that happens. I don't believe that God knows in a predetermined preordained manner what each of us will do at any given time. He knows us according to our fruit, our hearts, our actions. Please - - don't toss God out with a rotten bottom-dwelling poison peddling pack of showmen. Please. God is so much more than that...and I think you know it.
  20. I believed! And I was truly fortunate in that I never spent any time at HQ. For me, the real goodies in PFAL were few, but very compelling; how the church was supposed to be structured and operate; the way the one body is supposed to operate;how to read and understand the Bible - in a general sense, not as twi tweaked it later on. Except for those things that Raf has so carefully written about in his treatise on the errors in it, I think I believe everything that was taught. The information in JCOP and JCOPS draws me close to God even today. BUT everything else IMHO and ymmv is just rotten road-kill.
  21. I know how you feel about a Knight in Shiny Armor Excathy! Sometimes when things are all messed up and getting worser and worser by the second.....take me away from here....It almost falls into the category of stop the world I want to get off!!! A woman President - hmmmm - yes IF we had the right kind of woman who could carry herself well diplomatically and somebody who's words and actions would be respected by Heads of State in other countries. Margaret Thatcher comes to mind. Golda Meir as well. I know there must be others.

    Banning Booing

No, I don't think so. It started out as the "Story of OOO"
  23. Those "kids" who are interested and who are serious enough in their hearts and minds have uniquely dedicated and surprisingly solid points of view. I was amazed when I taught how those bright young lights could possibly know what they did, and make the "adult" decisions they did. I believe he will do an outstanding job in this position. In this case, it's not as if he will be in a position to act alone, he's not the mayor, but he will be one of a number of people who will investigate and deliberate on issues pertaining to education and the running of the school. And please don't forget, younger minds are so much more agile than aging ones. I hope this well rounded young man continues to serve the public in a variety of ways because he will be quite a leader in years to come as he gains more experience. I'm glad the town recognized his qualities.
