It's time! Actually it is probably past time. This story has surfaced in part from time to time over the years, but it has not been remembered with all the facts in the right place. I think that's because some prople know a little....and some others a little more....and others make a bridge between the former and the latter and do so in error. I know much of this account - - but not everything. "That man"- - who stood up to loy was my son. Although it's been 10 years, my insides still shake at the remembrance of that horrible weekend....and the weeks that followed. Although I was then a grown woman - - my heart was crushed because "my kids" were hurt. "My kids" means my son and my daughter-in-law who before this, meant the world to me. I never met a sweeter girl than she was. Of all the ones my son hung around with, she was the best, or so I thought, and certainly the most beautiful creature I'd seen. I loved her with my whole heart - - and part of me still does. This will be coming in parts, because it is so hard to tell. I didn't think it would be....but it is! Even now tears well up. That orginazation was soooo evil. More evil than we could have known.

Try again...I just watched it.....and had to turn it off before it ended.....sigh

Thanks RR! I go there (your link) as well and for our area....so much farther north than where Raf lives, it is a better bet. BUT - - don't mind my being a bit nervous this year. I've live through more than one of these bad boys in my lifetime and I don't like them. It's not just the storm...it's the aftermath...no power....no air conditioning...(not needed in San Diego, I'm told)...and the rest of the aftermath. Where I am...so close to NYC, I also look at the right angle the coastline makes in this region, and if a storm slammed in here, there would be real problems from water and flooding in excess of "just" a hurricane. It's been quite some time since this area has been hit, and I've heard experts say that "statistically" we are due. Life is....what it is. That doesn't mean I have to like it.

I'm certainly glad of that! For a while, there, I thought it might be making a Bee Line right for Jersey and THAT thought was scary!!!

TRUTH, JUSTICE, AND THE "NOT-SO-AMERICAN" WAY INTERNATIONAL
krys replied to DontWorryBeHappy's topic in About The Way
Sorry wd, I can't agree. I don't think it's true.....or else you would be looking with double vision....one eye on one thing and the other eye on the other thing. Not at all , only their example is contaminated I can still look at scripture and see truth. And where they shared scripture it remains true. Where the did not it does not. -
Well, George - - we do a pretty good job of making and delivering bombs. And - - it looks like we're good at starting wars too......for what it's worth.

I'm thinking of how the Judge's comments put everything in such a different light now. There is no end to the depth of their evil, is there! -

Why didn't any of these "perps" go to jail? What would have to happen in order to put them in jail? -
That is really a wonderful accomplishment. Congratulations. You have every right to boast and be proud of him!

I'll bet you could get real money for that piece! Have you considered writing for a living?
-
I had fun too! Can't wait until we can do it again.

Congratulations, indeed! I wish you great success in your business ventures.

I don't much care for her. I find her sterile and stuffy! I couldn't live with it, but if you gave it to me, I'd take it. (Sell it and buy something else I liked better - tee hee) Thanks for this thread Dooj! I've learned a lot and I'm learning to look at these things a bit differently. I do not know enought about any art to post a picture of it.....and I'm not going to tell you that I don't know much about art "but I know what I like"....because that's not true. I have a lot to learn.....so, come youse guyz....get busy and post and discuss another one.....Lindyhopper?????? Dooj???? Mstar????

What are they gonna do with me? - - - - I emit CO2 also! So - - we've finally come to the place where "they" tax the air we breathe....not on the way in....but on the way out....based on how much of that awful gas is in it. We shall all pay, but some of us shall pay more than others depending..... -sigh-

How did the ordination of clergy thing work in TWI?

I also appreciate your posts. These sharings require a whole lot of thought and plenty of concentration to put things down accurately - - you have no axe to grind nor any particular reason for posting other than setting down what was and what wasn't. I got involved in '78 and I know I was part of something really dynamic and wonderful at that time. I just didn't have the good sense to get out until much too late - - just a few months short of getting my 20 year pin (!). Thanks! -
Methinks I will be the first one on line for a hydrogen fueled vehicle.

All the Women in the Kingdom Belong to the King

It's worth outrage to the nth degree! Especially when one considers where these God-given scriptures originally came from........the mouth of God! How is it likely that any one could twist them around, and then teach others to do the same thing to lure those who trusted in them to teach [the same] sometimes 2 at a time into an abomination of three-somes. And in case any of you would like to challenge me......I do know whereof I speak! krys -
Thanks Paw for all that you do and everything you give. You are loved by many and maybe hated by a few because you've helped expose them. There is a day coming when every single one will have to give an account of ourselves and I would rather be standing next to you then near them when recompense or rewards are decided. My all your efforts be multiplied back to you! krys

oh no! Don't go farting around here because that releases methane into the atmosphere and methane is a greenhouse gas. This morning I heard someone plead for an all vegetarian diet because it would greatly release the methane load on the atmosphere if cattle no longer were raised for food! Methinks it's a good thing we don't eat elephants. Their digestive system is less efficient than cattle, and proportionally more methane is released by elephants therefore!

BANNED FROM K- MART........... This is why women should not take men shopping against their will. DON'T TAKE ME IF I DON'T WANT TO GO........... After Mr. and Mrs. Fenton retired, Mrs. Fenton insisted her husband accompany her on her trips to K -Mart. Unfortunately, Mr. Fenton was like most men--he found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunately, Mrs. Fenton was like most women--she loved to browse. One day Mrs. Fenton received the following letter from her local K -Mart. Dear Mrs. Fenton, Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behaviour and may be forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against Mr. Fenton are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras. 1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking. 2 . July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals. 3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom. 4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away.' 5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&M's on lay -b y. 6. September 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. 7. September 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department. 8. September 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?' 9. October 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose. 10. November 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were. 11. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the ' Mission Impossible' theme. 12. December 6: In the auto department, he practiced his 'Madonna look' by using different sizes of funnels. 13. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled 'PICK ME! PICK ME!' 14. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a foetal position and screamed 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!' And last, but not least .. 15. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here!' Regards, K -Mart..
