Some of these things make me laugh so hard, my glasses slide down my nose on the tears....and I can't get them to stay put!!! But on another note.....just in case somebody really wants to know - - - there were many many times that people received and followed directions (even as the great drunken pimp laid them out) and it did come to pass......or somebody was healed.....or somebody stayed out of trouble. Any one of us who was ever serious about godly things knows this, because we tried it and got results. Maybe - not all the time....but that wasn't God's fault...He's the same yesterday, today and forever. We jumped the gun or some other thing. I'll even bet the grand drunken poo-bah and/or his "disciple" even had a hit or 2. Okay, back to your regularly scheduled thread of hilarity, it's good idea to separate truth from fiction from time to time.

I think they thought you were controlling him instead of the other way around. I understand that you weren't controlling him....you were just helping him keep his own calendar focused on the family. They wanted him to tell you that he would make up his own mind and come over to do the gutters like THEY wanted. I hope that made sense.

I think you're going to have to get some weights and wrap them around your ankles. You must feel so much lighter that your body won't stay in the bed tonight! I'm glad you finally got that chore done. I don't think you were any more rude than the rest of us were. Some are still there now for heaven's sake! I hear ya, Mr. Marx. No. It had mature oaks and maples and a few other kinds, but not many hard wood trees so it wasn't really a mature "old growth" woods.

I'm so sorry you had such a terrible time of it. You and I probably look at things differently. Once I'd realized it was a brown recluse, I'd have hi-tailed it back to where it was and given it a good whoop-foot just on general principle! But they are one of the worst bites there is! [if you don't count shark or crocodile]

I don't think that's a good idea. I don't think he did the job for money and just handing him money would embarrass him and also take away from the reason he did the job ( in his own mind). Of course you could make a deal with him.....I will pay you so an so much if you do this..... But that's another story and IMHO not appropriate for this situation.

Thanks for your greetings today. I had a wonderful day. Daughter and family are up from FL so we "did lunch". Of course I waddled home.
