Something must be missing here. We are selecting only numbers???? nothing to go along with those numbers I guess.....just if we have a favorite number Well I have a favorite number but it's more than 9!!!

You said that very well Bowtwi! I don't believe there is a nasty bone in Bowtwi's body, so I don't believe she was being nasty. I think she just presented the facts as she saw them. I think the same way. Sometimes it so easy to get racing around that one forgets where one came from. I can imagine with your life zooming along at 70 mph in several directions at once that it's easy to forget where you got your information, or encouragement, or suggestions for lesson plans etc. Sometimes I wonder how you got done all that you did! Once you've thought about it,and our perception has been reflected back to you...perhaps you'll find a little time each week to spend with us, your friends, and even brothers and sisters as it may be. I admire you and I certainly mean no disrespect by these remarks.

Old School - - ya know - - IF they wanted to become a class-A organization they would have taught at least some of the things you suggested. It seems it was easier to lead by throwing your weight around. In the end, IMHO that was the single thing that brought them down. Just magnify "throw your weight around" and extrapolate and you find the source of every single rape...and marriage destruction. I have no doubt that most of those who went corps desires to serve bigger and better than they could otherwise. I really believe this is true. But I think there were some who saw a way to get through life on the backs of others and those are the ones many of us remember just because of the hurt they caused and the bad taste they left in our mouths. There were many very good people who went corps. I know....I met many of them.....but if they had been taught just some of the things on your list, they all would have brought the love of God all over the country.

Well they did train them to be sarcastic and to meddle in the affairs of their underlings. They trained them to get the underlings to do their child rearing and house cleaning. What more do you want?

Isn't VP's Grandson's outfit based in Georgia?

I think I'd meet them at the mailbox and make the sign of the vampire cross....and yell "back....back". I could save them the trouble and tell them I already know Mr. Linder!

The only ill effect I had from Chantix was nausea and that was bad until I learned how to minimize it. I cut the dose in half on the "loading" time and took it on a full stomach with the evening meal. Once I got on top of the nausea I was home free. I was NEVER a non smoker, contrary to today's commercials. My mother smoked all during my pregnancy and both parents were heavy smokers. It's only my opinion, but I believe the degree of my addiction was about as high as possible. - - no Merrit's or Dorals for me, however. I was hard corps. The time I was successful I realized that one cigarette here or there would not destroy me if I slipped up. I figured that every cigaretted I didn't smoke was good for me....and just continued. I don't remember how many weeks one is suppsed to use the Chantix, but I know I went a little longer, because I was afraid to leave my crutch. For ME, once I wasn't distracted my the terrible cravings, I could work with my head and then I could do it. If the E cigs work for you, go for it. If I can add to this to help anyone in any way....say the word....or come get me in a PM..

It's not the nicotine that kills you - - it's the rest of the stuff in the smoke. Get your nicotine any way you like as long as you don't use cigarettes [or snuff etc]. After who knows how many failed attempts....I was finally successful using a combination of Chantix and the lozenge. It's been a bit over 3 years and once in a while I still use a lozenge here and there. Some research suggests that failed quitting attempts are actually part of the process of quitting...so don't give up....one must actually learn non-smoking behavior.

Don't take this the wrong way - - but - - I do love you guys!!

So what if you're bored Broken Arrow. The participants on this thread are discussing something of interest to them. If you're not into it....leave the thread alone and walk away from it.

I understand what you're saying - - but you have to admit it was a whole lot better than that little ducky song........ I understand what you're saying - - but you have to admit it was a whole lot better than that little ducky song........

I liked singing "roll away"

I wonder what it would take to convert the thing into a high security prison?

Yes, those careers and educations interrupted! In it's hay-day I'd bet more than one potential lawyer, doctor, other majorly educated professional was lost to our society. ...probably a bunch of teachers too. It's not only those individuals who were robbed, although that would be a large enough crime. But also the rest of society during those years. In demanding all the money into THEIR abs coffers, there was not much left for little things (little = ha) like a donation to "the Boy's club and Girls club" in local areas, or even for Girl Scout Cookies. I always wanted to contribute toward the running and other expenses of my church...before twi......and there was always something left for these other things. So many local contributions to local charities were cut off. So much evil was done - - by commission and by omission in their name while fat cats continue of suck off our paps (indirectly, of course)
-
Twinky - - quit looking! IMHO, it's been there all along - - just kind of hiding underneath the fear that you were put under. The fear is gone.....such a minuscule "head leadership" can't hold you down anymore. You can do it all now - - any time you want :)

Ten Years since Martindale Ouster......What's Changed?
krys replied to skyrider's topic in About The Way
Ruling over a shrinking kingdom must have some effects. -
The thing is - - clicking on a FB page is not going to produce a revival of any kind. Perhaps so many thousands would click there desiring such a revival.....but clicking don't make it so...yano?! [ thanks Gen2]

Well - - I certainly did watch that program. And as I suspected, these kinds of anomalies are accidents and so called "freaks" of nature. HOWEVER - - there was also considerable discussion about the hormonal effects over development of both the embryo and the genitalia. There appears to be a lot more to this than I thought at first. Perhaps some of the things we wrestle with today is, indeed, the result of our degraded environment and negative spiritual influences over the Milena. I suspect, however, that this latter group is in the minoroty of those homosexual, lesbian, transgenders etc.

George, I have to trust your knowledge on this. But I can say that once that transformation has been done....no further petroleum will be burned for energy. I know that you have an understanding of the tremendous OTHER benefits of petrochemicals, and that you can understand why I am highly in favor of working on eliminating our use of them for fuel!

Chockfull: They have substituted the doctrine of God and used the doctrine of men. We've all been warned against this. This may have begun when earlier, people followed the charismatic VP....and other "leadership" patterned themselves on this false teacher.

We all know that long married loving couples frequently die within a short time of each other. They say they "died of a broken heart" and I do have to wonder if there is truth there. Losing the will to go on could cause lack of appetite, poor nutrition, and who knows what else could be set in motion in cases of these long-term marriages. I can comprehend this. But my life depends of obeying my overseer who scrutinizes my every activity and instills fear in me??? no way. The BOOK was written a long time ago -- how long did Steven live....and how come he was stoned to death? Who was his overseer and what command did he, Steven, who was so blessed by God......fail to carry out? Those remaining in that cult have lost their ability to think for themselves to such a degree,. that unless we are able to catch their attention and grab it long enough to show them the real truth, they have no hope and the only thing we can do for them is pray for Father's mercy on the individual believers because in a way.....they have become insane....and we can now intercede on their behalf, if not for healing....at least for the hereafter -- -maybe! I anybody else getting knots in their guts and becoming slightly nauseous over this? Or am I just a silly old woman?
-
I have a question! Believing - - - WHAT? the "ministry"? da verd? Do you see my problem. As they put it -- everything falls back to your believing.....but that's all that's said! I know that term is used as a noun....but it still makes no sense. Therefore....anything relating to something that makes no sense.....is.....itself....senseless.

Every kwh produced via solar energy is one less kwh produced by some petroleum product. In general, most people in this country don't seem to realize that. Many make fun of those who try to avoid burning fossil fuels thinking they are crying like Chicken Little. I don't want to be....but part of my brain is getting sarcastic now....oil is too precious to burn for energy, or any other purpose. I wonder if Ham isn't practicing for the time when there is no oil remaining underground.
