Adulation for sure. It may have been stated somewhere before, but my take on it goes along these lines: Look mah peepul what a perfect moggy I am because I suffered so much while filing my class for you - and - even lost my eye on your behalf.

T-Bone - - I really like the way you think.

In two or three words.. why are you here. (existence, not GS)

I'm hiding under Area . How did you find me? They told me it was safe here. -

This is where my space ship broke down. -
Thanks George! Those are the kinds of things I wouldn't likely see from way over here. You, being closer to those events would hear about them before I would ordinarily. Many in the media here have certainly pointed out the way the local folks have teamed together. That makes me really glad to be a member of the human race as it isn't likely as doomed as some would have us believe!

I'm glad for your safety and relatively inconsequential effects of the storm. That being said....I cannot imagine how hard it must be for those waiting it out in various shelters...and for those folks down the line....how long will it take to regain a sense of normalcy. I don't know if I could handle things as well as those I've seen interviewed in the media. I wonder how many will have to leave the area to obtain jobs, housing and schooling for their children. This is going to be one of those catastrophes that make decades to recover from.

WHY It all came to an end. It's not your fault.

Rodneyomcarthy: You are wrong! God does not control evil. If you want to continue this discussion, take it to our Doctrinal Forum but I won't be there. Methinks your mind is made up and who am I to try to convince you otherwise! love, kys -
tongue in cheek I think your assessment is (pretty nearly) right-on! It does cause me to wonder how twi amassed so much cash. It seems that according to this, the brighter bulbs had less opportunity for gainful employment, and, hence a proportionally smaller "donation". The minion foundational grads had relatively more time for such endeavors and therefore delivered proportionally more to HQ. I take issue with your description of GSC. The discussion you suggest may occur in the Doctirnal Forum to a degree - - - but the general membership provides the light to see all the happenings at the other levels.

Too bad that never happened.

Brilliant find!

Welcome. I'm glad you just posted that as it is one additional demonstration that the tale of "the GreaseSpot by Midnight" is just a myth.. I wish you success in your search for a home church and in your further education.

Thanks. gents. Perhaps others will have something to add. I'm not convinced I really need a desktop now, but also not sure I don't. It would seem to offer more expansion and perhaps a cd read/write drive I appreciate all you both have given me. It's a good thing I'm not in a big hurry for this. You guys are the best.

I'm presently using a laptop which is sufficient for many things but not everything I want to accomplish. I need something more robust and with a keyboard large enough to function more comfortably. I want 16g ram for some of my graphics programs to work best and to accommodate whatever is coming down the pike' I also don't want to settle for minimum sound capabilities. I keep remembering the tower I .some time ago. I'm not opposed to a desktop, but I don't know how to locate what I think I want. Is brand name important? Should I go to a place like staples or Best Buy and hang out a while to get a better idea? Am I better off having one built for me? Thanks. I'm grateful for your input.

Sweet! I agree with you T-Bone - - I didn't have to work to hear the beats and harmonies.

MRAP, what is it going to take to get you to roll over for another long winter's nap? Another 3 or 4 months would be good. -
