  1. Waxit I seldom post, but do read most of them, and wonder why zealots, such as yourself, continue to argue your point to such a small group of opponents? You have been going round and round for a goodly amount of time, even attempting to bypass this thread, and begin a new one on the same subject. Why you attempted the new thread is up for speculation, unless you decide to declare the mystery. I notice it has been deleted. either by you or the moderators, for being in the incorrect forum. As animate and forceful as you are, I can assume you want as many people as possible to become aware of your strong beliefs. You are very livid in your understanding that the word be rightly divided, so why try to convert the posters at GSC, who repeated divide the word differently? Using your most persuasive arguments, zero have switched their dividing of the word to your right dividing. Seems you may be beating a dead horse and your time and talents better directed in another avenue. I guess, it is possible you are expending your energies to sharpen and hone your debate skills, and this is a good place to undertake such a measure. There are ample participants willing to sharpen iron against iron. IMO, and if it was me with such a strong Godly belief with so many rebuffs, it would be time to knock on the next door. As a former WOW Ambassador (twice), when I encountered unbelief at a home, my next move was to hop across the sidewalk to the next house. This was done many, many times in a day over two years. I did not go back to the same unbelieving residence over and over trying to change their minds, and hopefully bring them around to what I was selling. I don't know your background in TWI, but you may have done identical witnessing. As a WOW, I was holding forth the word with an overwhelming and strong belief I knew what God wanted for the world. This left all other occupants of the planet in the category of clueless. I gave them one chance to change their minds. Then at the end of the day, with all the other members of my WOW family, we licked our wounds, knowing we had done our best. To keep our moral up we put all those who had slammed their door on us, in the category of unbelievers, or not in God's Household. Matthew 7:6 was the scripture we ended the day with; "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Would your pearls be better cast in more fertile ground with another website or other persons? Your pearls have definitely been trampled under foot by everyone at GSC who have responded to your posts. I don't know if you realize it, or not, but you have been turned on and torn to pieces. I believe Matthew 7:6 has been rightly divided? Stayed Too Long
  2. I don’t know how many different religions use the bible as their base of belief...thousands probably. And they all have arrived at different beliefs from the same bible. Which one actually has the truth or does it matter for healing? I grew up with anxiety, depression, and ocd issues and sat across from a psychologist for about two years, and psychiatrist for four years, in addition to multiple drugs, all to no avail. I reached a point of despair and decided to actually believe God would heal me. Fully convinced God would heal me by thinking and reading healing thoughts, within weeks all the problems were lifted from me. I sat on my couch one day and all of sudden realized I was free of the constant Obsessive thoughts with me, and I was happy for the first time in decades. But there are others who have been healed who do not believe the way I do. Take for example AA. One of the requirements is to believe in a high source outside of themselves. Step 5, step 6, and step 7 all require a belief in God to bring about their healing. No particular God, just a higher power. Many people say they are indebted to AA for healing them. A car in my town has a personalized license that reads “IOU AA.” I have a friend who is an alcoholic and clean for over ten years because of AA. My point is, all have been healed by God, but believe God in different ways.
  3. One thing the offshoots seem to avoid, which TWI made front and center, and why GSC is so necessary, is the condemnation we were made to feel if we would “copt out of the word.” Hammered in our heads was we would lose all rewards, or die, if we left TWI. Martindale’s favorite blather was, “you will be a grease spot by midnight,” if you dare believe TWI was wrong and move on. You were cut off from any and all friendships you had made while associated with TWI. Many were “marked and avoid” to add additional shame and ridicule. The offshoots teach pretty much what TWI taught, but I haven’t heard any of their followers finding it hard to leave. Apparently they learned this was not a good stratagy. I have been gone along time and glad to find GSC is still here.
  4. When they build the auditorium articles of the Wierwilles were placed in the cornerstone, but don't remember it being called a time capsule.
  5. Where, oh where, have you gone? I have enjoyed your posts!
  6. If you could please pass their phone number to me I would appreciate it, so I can drive across the border and get the same satisfying customer service. Always did love my neighbors to the North!
  7. Condoleezza Rice has been asked to block the extradition of Dog and Co to Mexico. He does have some powerful friends in this country. We'll see how it comes out.
  8. I have a dog and also watch the squirrels play in my yard everyday. If my dog Snickers gets to go on a walk, has food and water, and receives some attention, she asks for nothing more. She sleeps much of the day and night, so she must not be fretting about anything that would keep her awake. The squirrels frollic all day running up and down trees, across power lines, and robbing bird feeders. They are so peaceful to watch. Thank your for the poem.
  9. Most of the Corps I came in contact with were very honest and honorable people who did want to serve God and His people. They freely gave up so much to lead and help in their areas. My hats off to them.
  10. I can't see any picture or link.
  11. A lot of people spend a lot of energy and time calculating when the end will come. As vague as the bible is on the subject, to me it doesn't make sense to try and figure it out. If the world is going to end it will end whether anyone has figured the date out or not. I would much rather spend my time enjoying the day rather than worrying if it is going to end.
  12. Who should I believe "KNOWS" what God really requires for me to be saved? templelady, pond, or dancing? Each has a different belief.
  13. We have two who profess to be Christians, templelady and pond, and they are miles a part on how to be saved. Some other professing Christian want to jump in and explain how to be saved?
  14. If you got all the people believing in hell and punishment for wrong doers, you could not get an agreement among any two of them where hell is, what hell is, who is going there, what the punishment will be like, yada, yada, yada. I would bet once they started discussing particulars some would say that the guy sitting next to them would end up in hell because they didn't believe what they believed. There are thousands of Christian religions who base their teachings on the same book. How do they all come to different conclusions? Anyone who believes in hell please tell me who will go there and why? And then tell me what I have to do to avoid it.
  15. I won't. If ever you decide you want to know the facts concerning the capture of Luster, google "Andrew Luster Capture".
  16. Peter denied Jesus a number of times and his leadership position was never called into question. Judas betrayed Jesus and he was never kicked out of the 12. Thomas doubted that Jesus rose from the dead and his position was not taken from him. Paul slaughtered quite a few Christians and the people let him become their leader. David had men killed so he could have their wives and he was never removed as king. I don't think the bible says leaders who sin should be kicked out of their positions.
  17. Mr Rapist could not be located by any authorities around the world. Chapman got word through an informat he was in Puerto Vallarta, so Dog grabbed his son, and Tim and went down South to capture him, knowing full well it was illegal in Mexico for bounty hunters to operate. He caught the fugative and there was such a scene made, locals called in the Mexican police. The police arrived and took them all of them into custody, Mr Rapist because he was wanted in the U.S., and the bounty hunters because they were breaking Mexican laws. The Mexican government extradited Mr Rapist to the U.S. That is how is was able to stand trial and be convicted. Mexico in no way tried to keep the United States from getting possession of the fugative. Mexico allowed the Chapman team to post bail and they returned to the U.S. Now they have decided to prosecute them. The bounty hunters are now fighting extradition to Mexico.
  18. Dog and company didn't violate any U.S. laws so I don't think it would have any bearing on Senor Rapist's court proceedings. The Mexican government turned him over to the United States government not Dog, because Dog was taken into custody by the Mexican authorities. I don't see any hypocrisy with the way the United States is handling the situation. We have an extradition treaty with Mexico and the Mexican authorities what him extradited because he broke the laws of Mexico. If someone broke a law in the United States and fled to Mexico, we would expect the Mexican authorities to honor our request to have him/her returned to the U.S. What basis do you think the United States has for denying extradition? Chapman, Chapman, and Chapman caught a criminal who commited a crime in the U.S., but knowingly broke a Mexican law in Mexico doing it. They should have considered the consequences before entering Mexico.
  19. I have not heard that, but maybe he has. Going to Mexico and capturing this rapist is what really propelled him to the top. There were reporters around and he got lots of publicity, which I believe he was after. Why would he go to another country to perform an act he could be imprisoned for if not for the publicity and the potential for mega$$$$. I doubt if he went down there out of any sense of "moral duty" or anything like that, but padding his wallet certainly could enter into the equation.
  20. Tim Chapman bio. Not that it is any big deal but the official website of A & E says Tim and Dog are not related.
  21. Not true. Chapman, his son, and his associate with the last name of Chapman, are all out on bail living in Hawaii. They may or may not be extradited. Not true. The authorities could not find him so how could he be extradited to the United States? Chapman and company went to Mexico, found him, and afterwards Luster was extradited to the United States. How else could he be serving a sentence if he were not extradited? Just because someone is a Christian does not give them the right to break the laws of another country. It almost sounds like people think Chapman is being 'persecuted' because he is a Christian. He is being 'prosecuted' because he was stupid....he knowingly broke the laws of another country. If we expect the Mexican goverment to hand over criminals we want who are in Mexico, then the U.S. must do the same.
  22. My mother does NOT wear combat boots. "Oh yea? Your sister isn't very good looking either!" "Between starched scivvies and self flagulation, I am a little irritable today." "Take your PSA test and shove it up your own a$$." "I told you your mother would put too many chilies in the stew."
  23. OH YEA!!! I like this one.
  24. He made a poor decision to enter Mexico knowing bounty hunting was illegal in the country. I am sure this will only add to the shows popularity.
  25. Instead of head'em off at the pass we'll head 'em off at the airport.
