  1. What is your concern? How is that after the return their will be no sin? Apparently the saved people will not be able to sin? Or if it is possible to sin, how is that absolutely no one will be to sin?
  2. Mark said: “God did not make humanity as a puppet on a string with God controlling everything that we think and do. God simply gives humanity the free will ability to do different things with God not controlling everything that we think and do.” Does this mean after the second coming that God will create puppets on a string so that everything will be perfect? Mankind will not have the ability to go against God’s will?
  3. MRE stands for Meals Ready To Eat…no water required or anthing else, as they are enclosed in a plastic pouch. You didn’t eat a 10 year old MRE if you were required to add water. Having spent 24 years in the militery I have eaten a few of them.
  4. Which distance model are you purchasing? The price varies considerably with the battery pack required to drive further distances. The price is quite reasonable and no $5.00/gal gas charges, and more and more electric charging stations are coming on line. The charts I have seen show it is considerably cheaper to “fill up” your electric car than your gasoline automobile. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/19/cost-of-charging-ev-vs-gas-prices.html
  5. There was a Thriteenth Amendment passed and a civil war fought over a 150 years ago to correct the horrible injustice. In 1964 the Civil Rights Voting Act was also passed.
  6. What is the concern if what I post is an agenda or curiosity?
  7. I just thought it very succinctly stated the obvious plus a few new ones. Combing through the bible you can easily read some crazy thing, (an animal is unclean if it doesn ‘t chew its cud), causing you to scratch your head, then close the book, and grab a beer. HOWEVER; Bob Dylan is now selling his brand of whiskey; Heavens Gate. So possibly a couple of shots of Double Barrel Whiskey will also do the trick.
  8. We are all certainly the child of a woman and man (are these still an acceptable descriptions of today’s sexes?) who decided to “come up” with us.
  9. Are you attempting to justify God’s totally incomprehensible creation of mankind by comparing him to yourself? You are so much better than anything he could ever come up with. After all, he botched the first creation so bad, he ended up killing them all. I think your family is in good hands and do not have to fear for their lives.
  10. If Lot and his daughters were living today they would be in prison, because incest is about as bad as it gets. One of the daughter’s offspring with Lot, was even made the head of the Moabites. Along with slavery, rape, and child sacrifice, add incest to the list of sins God allows. Where, oh where, is his mind?
  11. I am sure every parent can relate to your experiences of raising children. Many times they do the opposite of what we wish they would. However, we are discussing God, the all loving, all knowing, and all powerful, creator. One would think he would have made us, from the beginning, perfect, not able to do stupid stuff. After all, that is exactly how life will be after the return, so it is within God’s grasp to make life perfect. But, if we look at Genesis 6:5-7: God has done some pretty stupid stuff, and he even acknowledges the error of his ways. This crazy action by God, resulted in mankind being destroyed. “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the lord said, “I will destroy man….” If God had fore knowledge, he would have known he created very imperfect people. Why make people, knowing you will wipe them off the face of the earth, in the future? Cman, would there ever be any evil thing your 2 sons could do, that you would wish they had never been born, and kill them?
  12. Apparently God piped oxygen to Jonah for three days or he would have drowned or suffocated. Jonah more than likely had plenty to eat—raw fish the whale had caught. It must have a rough ride for Johah in the whale’s belly as the great fish cruised up and down the ocean looking for food. Ouch!
  13. These folks were by no means close friends of mine, but ones who had popped in and out of my life from the past, chiefly thru reading of them, from some old books passed down through the years. Another person even claims, as he was hiking in the mountains, a bush burst into flames, after which God proceeded to talk to him. He was even given a couple of stone tablets from God, which supposedly proclaimed God’s will for his people.. Great! But, then this guy threw the tablets down and broke them, as he became angry. What goes on with that? I really hate to admit it, but I’m concerned about their mental health. Jokingly, we can talk about chatting with a boa constrictor or diamond back rattle snake, but I fear it is beyond that with them. They claim this snake changed their’s, and all their relatives lives forever, by tricking one of them to eat an apple. Crazy, huh? And listening to a donkey talk? Hard to comprehend, isn’t it? I know you all are not Dear Abby, but I do need some help dealing with these situations. Any help will be truly appreciated, as I really what to assist them in any way I can
  14. Although I do not believe you can attritribute the bible, koran, and other books to God, there are actions that I have particpated in, which I can not explain happening in nature. For example, while operating an ojui board, It spelled out answers to questions only I knew the answer, and were right on the money and made perfect sense. There were many, many questions asked one after the other, all with accurate responses. My niece found her family had to cease using the ouji board because they began experiencing violence as the piece attacked them. Another example is levitation. A number of us would lay hands on an item and make it float in the air. Once, we sat around a coffee table and it raised several feet off the ground. Anyone one have an explanation?
  15. Are you using Orientalisms as a way to explain and understand God’s actions, in requiring a ransom of death be paid to justify man sinning in the Garden of Eden? Not only demanding the death of his son, but burdening the rest of mankind with a sin nature they must carry with them for the rest of thie lives? Are you saying if we fully grasped the full meaning of orientalisms (the 30,000 foot view), we would understand why God did what he did in the Garden of Eden, and then everything Raf suggested would be a moot point?
  16. I can’t wait for someone to declare thay are in different administrations. Haha
  17. Who can square II Peter with Acts 8:26-31? 26 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet. 29 The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” 30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. 31 “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. According to Acts, someone must explain the scriptures, so the scriptures do not intrepret themselves.
