  1. LoL I got a surprise belly laugh out of that. I'm sorry I haven't been able to follow your saga much, but some has seeped in by osmosis. I lived in the town of New Knowxville for a couple years and experienced the local culture, so I can picture some of your complaints. Is that where you grew up? Still, it was an unexpected somewhat sympathetic belly laugh. From what I remember of New Knoxville circa 1977, people kept track of what time others came home on weekend nights, and what clothing was put out to dry the next day.
  2. I saw the same thing in the same page on which you posted this observation, just a click to page left.
  3. In the past I had been focused on my message and would not let anyone slow me down. But after 20 years, that project is finished, and I feel free to "actually deal with the topic." Only, one slight problem is, there are very often about 10 topics from 5 people that I am dealing with simultaneously. Maybe we should try a “ground rule” when a flurry of posting happens, where I can just respond to one person for a while, and then backtrack to the posts I missed earlier. I am willing to do other experiments to minimize the commotion of feverish responding my poorly written posts seem to so efficiently stimulate. I doubt if any of you have ever had a hot, fast, long debate here with 5 people at one time. The logistics of dealing with that are staggering for those with the extra gray matter to think it through. I just posted yesterday about copying a whole page of posts I missed, while largely away for a day, into my MS Word processor. Then I responded to everyone OFF-line and posted my responses all one after another in a form of batch processing when no one was posting any more. I think I need to refrain more from “real-time fast flurry” posting, though the temptation to see what everyone is saying in real-time is great. Batch processing with MS Word may help me more clearly respond, not being under the pressure to respond fast to keep up with the 2 or 3 others in debate (or more likely: food fighting). I have been trying to be as 100% responsive to people’s posts and to the many topics even one post can bring up. I want to engage in every topic. I wasn’t doing that in my first 20 years of posting. I had my own agenda then, and I accomplished it. Now I want to switch over to the role of a negotiator between GreaseSpot and HQ. I am doing as I type, assuming they are reading this. I have said there are some topics I feel grossly incompetent to fully deal with. I am willing to discuss anything seriously, but not at the same time submit myself to a confrontational deprogramming of my ideals. I can represent TWI-4 to you folks, because I clearly acknowledge the many, many things I embrace in common with them. I can represent you folks here at GreeaseSpot to TWI-4 because I once sat in nearly all the same seats from which you all pontificate today. My sitting was earlier by 10 years and in a different atmosphere, and in a much lesser intensity. I was vaccinated in 1980 by twig incident, with a weakened form of the really Big Disease (Schoenheit Paper) that precipitated the 1986 ministry meltdown. I have told many details to this story here. I had an early introduction (1977) to some anomalies in the Research Department, that also prepared me for the reports that started coming after 1986. I had these things and others swirling in my head, quietly pondering them for years before GreaseSpot started. I really can empathize with the feelings. This highly motivates me to want run and help in any way I can. I found that as I did careful and balanced thinking, some things got gently straightened out for me. So I came here hoping to do that, but found that I had not fully anticipated the intensity of opposition I’d have to face. I’ve been learning a lot over these 20 years, and I really want to switch gears here. I would have no victory in being banned. None at all. I slogged thru 20 years with my message that the collaterals were missed and worthy of great attention. I am not going to budge on that, but I can relax my feeling of a duty to clearly deliver the message. It has been delivered, so now I am on to other things. Banning me would seriously impede my ability to work a serious, loving set of suggestions for TWI-4 to consider. That would be a lose-lose deal for us all, I think. */*/*/*/* Your perception is correct, OldSkool, my responding has been random, sporadic, and lots get missed. I try to not let that happen but it does. The only way to avoid that that I have found is to do it late at night, and that is iffy too. I was half joking and half serious about requesting that the lost posts be reposted to me for responding, with ALL-CAPS declarations at the top that they are an important post. Seriously, some text to me really does slip through the cracks. Some posts look like jokes and I gloss over them. Some even are scatological, and very un-necessarily so. I have a right to refuse all sorts of non-serious discussion. If you want to dampen my attention levels some, just drape your posts with emotional shaming, or insults, or mocking, or bursts of distracting anti-praise to the anti-idol. I have a habit of switching over to “Evelyn Wood Magic Speed Reading” techniques for those bursts, and sometimes I accidentally gloss over serious text that immediately follows the deliberately glossed over screed. We all know that the bursts of anti-praise to the anti-idol are mostly for the ROA (read-only audience) and have nothing to do with the discussion. How’s that been working out for you, lately? … or for the last 20 years? How’s about a ground rule of yous guys pulling back on the bursts? That could be like paying me back for my from backing off on my message at this 20 year point. Then we could talk up some more ways we can have some new modes of conversation grow up here and replace the ever repeating show we put on here. Twinky cracked me up today, noticing that the same show was playing for the ROA back 5 years ago. */*/*/*/*/*/* Anyway, OldSkool, that was my way of answering all the points I could pull out of your post just now. …without re-formatting your post. Now, I have to post this and sort through other posts that have appeared during the time I was writing this. I can never fully catch up, but we can work out ways where I am not avoiding topics you think are most important.
  4. Twinky, your observation fits in with what I posted to Rocky today on the "Wierwille's doctorate" thread about traffic in recent years reflecting a boredom related traffic decline, due to waning novelty in posting topics. Nearly everything has been said, as far as I can see, except for new possible inroads to cooperation starting with TWI-4.
  5. Thanks, Gamaliel for that voice of reason and moderation. I can assure you that I have always been this crazy, so it won't get any worse. What you may be seeing is my writing improving, to better express my craziness.
  6. I would think that the traffic I generate is good for the GSC owners. ... as opposed to crickets and inactivity. Certainly each poster thinks their contribution to the traffic is good, and are glad that they can have their say. Most of the traffic is not me, but people objecting to what I post. */*/*/*/* I had no idea that the active posters here chip in substantially, until you, Rocky brought it up. How much do the other large volume posters chip in? Anyone ever discuss this? I asked what would be a proper donation, and got no answer, so I guessed that $50 would be good, at least for a while. ...like a year? If the money is really an issue, I think we can straighten that part out with relative ease. I am willing to pay more. But I suspect it is not really the money that is in your focus here. I think my serious assault on the building and maintaining of a pure evil model of VPW is the real issue you are concerned with, and not the money. You and this small band of about 10 regular posters that still hang out here, after 20 years, have a pretty unified perspective, and you want to get rid of any competing opinions, especially one that is almost opposite to the prevailing one. But really my perspective is not opposite to pure evil. That would be a VPW idol in my life, a counterfeit Jesus. In my perspective he is both good and bad, just like everyone, except his was bigger. What is different about him is that the very visible good from him is enormous, and likewise, when he was off the ball, it sounds like the damage he did was enormous also. The prevailing opinion here, that VPW was pure evil, is only one opinion grads can have. Many have other opinions. GreaseSpot historically began with, and has maintained a policy of, giving the suppressed opinions of people in TWI-1, -2, -3 opportunity to express themselves. GSC began with a mission to grant freedom of speech where it had been suppressed in the past. The reason I was allowed to post here from the beginning was because I offered a genuine OTHER perspective on whole TWI deal, what went right, what went wrong, and what solutions exist for the TWI damages. The perspective of the majority of high frequency posters here is that VPW is pure evil. My perspective is more natural and Biblical, that when he walked with God he could bless big, but when he was out of fellowship he could hurt big. That is a model we can often see in real life, that powerful men can do great things, and then turn around and do very great evil. We have Biblical models of that. We have Romans telling us that we ALL have similar hearts that are desperately evil. Very few of us, though, were ever so powerful and influential that our worst acts of selfishness would incur widespread damage. Usually, when we really blow it, the damage is minimal by comparison. My model of VPW is more realistic than the model offered here. The reality of the good that VPW did will not go away by having my posting banned. The only way the pure evil model can be maintained here is by more and more systematic insularity, not looking at other grads’ lifestyles, and isolating yourselves more and more (like banning oldiesman and johniam) until you run out of gas. I suspect you will run out of things to talk about pretty soon, and simultaneously, the population of old grads who were affected by TWI will continue die off, meaning the GreaseSpot audience will dwindle. Add to that the sad fact that all we older posters will be physically running out of gas, and then life, fairly soon. So I think there is inherent obsolescence to the maintaining of the anti-idol. It will wither and dissipate in the next 20 years. I made the point that the main posters here are not going to be able to inspire their progeny or other young people to take up the anti-idol cause. But if people can switch gears here, they can get a balanced realistic model of VPW, and then go about repairing the damage issue by issue, while recognizing the folly of attacking the good he did. If people here can lighten up a bit, there can be real solutions that can be dreamed and built. I am serious about: a future Reparations Department at HQ, a PFAL Grad’s Bill of Rights, Engineering Change Notices, an unvarnished and balanced history of TWI written, and I am serious about helping other grads sort out between the good and the bad that we received from TWI. So I am proposing that the pure evil anti-idol is going nowhere. I am proposing the history of TWI can be better discovered, documented, and that so doing can set some limited solutions, to take care of grads better this side of the Return.
  7. First of all, I did not write that with modern teeny boppers in mind. It was addressed to adults. Did you read to her the other reports here of the casual sex in the dorms? Think she might cringe at what you and others posted there, addressing adults? Second of all, even your mitigated re-regurgitated post still has that old Corps trick that promises to relieve your desperation. So now, instead of implying "God it telling me that your heart is not right, Mike" now your desperate ad hominem way of dispensing with my facts and logic is to say "My expert consultant is telling me your heart is not right, Mike." And when that doesn't work you resort to Putin's strategy, wanting to throw me out the window. I must be posting things that are difficult for you to bear. You look desperate to me.
  8. Because several items on this seem to have slipped out of memory of a few posters, I thought I'd post it again with some highlights. This was originally posted by Research Geek October 04, 2002: I'm not trying to defend vpw, but I do think that the facts need to be made straight. vpw did get a masters at Princeton which is not too shabby and he did go to Pikes Peak Seminary. I saw the home moves of his graduation. There were a number of people in his class. My wife and I searched for the place and found it when we visited Colorado. We drove up to it on a hill and were looking at the building when the owner of the house came out. We said hi and explained what we were doing and he invited us in and showed us around. The owner said that indeed the Seminary operated out of that building and even showed us a picture of the place years ago taken from across the valley. It was in a frame and mounted on the wall. The owner said that it was a condition of the house purchase agreement that the picture remain with the building. We took photos and showed them to vpw. He remembered the picture on the wall. The main problem was that Pikes Peak Seminary utilized an "experimental" kind of education method. Because of that, its coursework was not accepted by many other institutions. vpw did put in the time and did get a doctors degree. But few institutions recognized it. Later the seminary fell into disrepute and its degree granting authority was abused and became a place where you could write in and get a degree, similar to what you can now do on the Internet. That fact made his degree even more difficult to legitimize. I think that he kept the title obstinately, in spite of the criticism because he had done the work and put in the time. Unfortunately for him, he chose the wrong institution for the effort. So it was not a lie. He believed that he had earned the title. Perhaps his decision to go was unwise. I think that if I was going to put in the effort, I would have chosen an institution with better credentials.
  9. I am noticing a pattern in your posting to me, where you always prominently include a condemnation of my writing skills. I think there may be a subconscious connection there to the questions you have about the posting motivation of the active posters here. We shall see. I may have found a connection, and I bring it up below. */*/*/*/* Why do I post? I mentioned the other day how unique and large a group of grads this is. I will now build on that a bit. I see my a very sizable family of grads congregating here, hurt with all sorts of confusions. I feel lucky to have escaped most damage, and feel it a duty to speak up where I see people missing the good that we were involved in. I see the regular posters here, and a large fraction of the ROA, as hurting and confused. I want to help. Up until the recent local activities of TWI-4 this past year, GreaseSpot was the only place to go and find refugees from the 1986 meltdown. I consider TWI-4 to be a group of refugees from that meltdown as well as all the people here. The whole debacle of what went wrong, what went right, and what to do about it has never been settled. No one has ministered to this state of complete confusion I see all grads in. I saw in 2002 that there was no proPFAL voice to balance the antiPFAL voices here, and I saw that there were no prpPFAL leaders in TWI-3, nor in the splinters who had the ability or willingness to face you antiPFAL folks here. I post because no one else wants to or can do it with effectiveness. It took courage to post here and become a bad guy in so many intense eyes. I had some valid concerns. I was threatened a few times in my early years, but thankfully the mods got a handle on that. Once Pawtucket called me on the phone to warn me that someone was stalking me on the board. There were a few times in those early years where I would peek out my window at the parking lot and street below for strange cars lurking. I prayed for my safety. What I post seriously rocks unstable boats. I am unhappy that no one else, no better writers, came here to offer some positive balance to all the negative talk. I do it because no one else seems to have the courage. */*/*/*/*/* Which brings me back to my writing skills. I wish I had the time to do a few proofreads and even “sleeping on it” for a near final draft before posting. But the furious posting pace that often occurs, means rushed and never properly proofed drafts are often posted by me prematurely. So if you add the rushed atmosphere in which I write to my inherently poor skills, that should result in totally ineffective posts that no one pays any attention to. But that is not the result we see, over and over. I think it is the case that I am SO CORRECT and on the right path, that even my poorly written posts are taken as a severe threat to the message of Bad News about the pure evil VPW, the anti-idol. What I post is a serious and deadly challenge to the pure evil anti-idol that is desired here. The anti-idol is a house of cards, and is severely threatened by any bringing up of the missing facts, even by a poorly written bringing up. This is why chockful openly calls for my being banned. He just can take the humiliation of being reminded that the anti-idol is a lie, and that is what my posts do. They also remind the ROA that the actors on this stage have a muddy message to preach. All the nasty tactics of the Nazi Way Corps manipulation chockful kept for future use, he uses on me to try and discourage me from threatening his precious anti-idol that he loves to hate. I could tell that he was getting desperate the other day when he pulled out his “pedophile card” and tried his nazi best to nail me with a “cringe” hunch. Shades of “God just told me your heart was wrong.” Then, he realized he went too far and tried to deny it. So, now he pursues his need to have me off his case, and resorts to asking for me being banned. Is that how cowards behave? The old waycorpse nazi can’t change his spots. */*/*/*/*/* So, Rocky, in all your consternation over why people respond to me, have you noticed what happens when I am not posting? I read here a lot, and there have been seasons where I wasn’t posting at all. In the past 5 years or so, I have noticed a pattern where the posting traffic in “About the Way” is way down to near zero when I am not posting. Then I start posting and the traffic goes up. Yes, when an event like RnR happens, that fuels some activity.... for a little while, and then it is down to a trickle again. I get the impression that I can turn on the traffic like a switch. I may be TOTALLY WRONG about this pattern, as I have not kept any hard statistics. But it does seem to be the case that when I stop posting, the traffic stops. If I am correct about this pattern, I have a theory as to why it happens. The traffic was extremely high here 20 years ago. But by 2015 most of the stories had been told, most of the grads from TWI-1 heard all the dirt and there were less, and less of the victim stories as TWI-3 made things calm down from the frenzy that surrounded Craig. Things got pretty boring for posters here. There is hardly anything left to post on….. until Mike starts posting again. Then it’s exciting again to come here day after day to try some new tactic to shut me up. So, Rocky, I think the reasons people post when I post is twofold: (1) posters are bored and have run out of things to post on, and (2) when I post, the points I make are VERY DISTURBING to the anti-idol maintenance. That pumps up the energy to post long, hard, and often to defeat my poorly written, but still way too effective, posting.
  10. Reading thru the silliness, I just had an idea why VPW wanted that PhD. One of the ways he conducted research and teaching was to invite guest teachers to HQ. If he had a PhD next to his name, he would stand a better chance of attracting speakers who were in demand. Help me here, historians. When was the date of his PhD ???
  11. My reason I repeatedly post what I do on this topic is to remind people that MUCH of the building that goes into the pure evil, intense evil anti-idol here is a flimsy house of cards. Plagiarism and the PhD are two examples of the really weak arguments GSC posters are constantly propping up to maintain the pureness of the anti-idol. These are extremely minor points for me: VPW's degree and being called "doctor." I posted all I know and care on the topic, so I am back to whittling down backlog responses to earlier this week, that still await me on my MS Word processor.
  12. For me he did earn that degree, based on the POSITIVE effects of PFAL on my life and on the lives of many others. I am to remind everyone of Research Geek's post here on how he investigated this issue by physically traveling to Pikes Peak and checking out the record. He's one of the very few GreaseSpotters that seem to have done this kind of thing, not shoot from the hip, but investigate objectively. Others here will dig ONLY for dirt, but miss the gold. This was originally posted by Research Geek October 04, 2002: I'm not trying to defend vpw, but I do think that the facts need to be made straight. vpw did get a masters at Princeton which is not too shabby and he did go to Pikes Peak Seminary. I think that if I was going to put in the effort, I would have chosen an institution with better credentials. */*/*/*/*/* I might distance myself from a few of the opinions expressed at the end of the above post, but the bulk of it is quite noteworthy. I urge the objectors to dig deeper than just listening to what's in the wind, and not base crucial life decisions on the reports of people who didn't bother to get informed. Dr not only earned his doctorate, but he performed far beyond what any PhD has ever done for anyone. He brought us God's light like it hasn't been seen in 2000 years. In my book that earns him credit far beyond a doctorate.
  13. Some good words. Sorry, don't mean to be ignoring you. As you can see by the timestamps, this is a bunch of people, doing a flurry of fast posting. While, I am responding to one, two or three more posts happen that I don't see while composing. Then I post my reply, do a last post post proofread, and then try to see what I missed in the confusion of the long scroll-up. So lots of posts get missed by me. What I did the other day is make a copy of each thread, paste them all in MS Word, and slowly whittle them down to respond-able text, deleting the relatively random (flurry caused) posts I already responded to. Doing all this off line is necessary to not be interrupted by two notifications for each post in the on-going flurry. I’m not sure what to call flurries like this in the Summer time. It seems like a good word now, though, with all the cold weather and snow. */*/*//*/*/* So in a way, Nathan_Jr, I am taking your advice (Be still. Watch. Find out for yourself.) and chilling out for a while, and will collect the flurries after they finish. */*/*/*/*/* MEANWHILE, If any of you posted something important, and you feel it got missed, please re-post it now, JUST THE IMPORTANT ONES, and put that in all caps at the top. That way I’ll be sure to read them more carefully. And think through what is important: 1 Cor 13 we gotta get back to love. Love is a major theme in John’s First Epistle as a way to guard ourselves from idols. Peace and Love
  14. That is not the ONLY clear verse in your argument's favor. There are more. Plus there are clear verses against your argument. I say that all the instances where God's greatest power was manifested, there was someone with great believing, which enables God to overcome the limitations His own Cosmic Legal System imposes on Him. I am relaying to you the imagery God gives us to build on. When God did the deed of GIVING power to Adam, that is God limiting Himself. God set up a system that He obeys, and He makes the devil obey it also. Someday God's will will be done on earth again, but now it is still in the hands of the adversary. None of this is new to any serious student of PFAL. Please tell me I am stirring up memories of having learned this.
  15. You got to work that with all the other scriptures that deal with this topic. You are cherry picking verses that you like, and ignoring all the places where God explains the structure of things in the 2nd heaven and earth where we live now. Remember, God gave great power to Adam. Adam gave it all to the devil. Jesus earned it all back from the devil. Soon he will Return to redeem the purchased possession. Until then God's will is generally not done on earth. "...thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!" (prays Jesus, yearning for the future when God is not limited.)
  16. I know God is Mighty, and I know many verses that say so. So how come we don't see His mighty deliverance most of the time and we all die eventually? Because God is limited. Many verses say this also. When conditions are right and BELIEVING is right, He is temporarily LESS LIMITED and we see mighty things for a little bit. I am seeing how it is you folks got tricked into thinking you were getting a holy man, never paid much attention to the revolutionary paradigm that I am reiterating for you now, and got all enmeshed in the successes of the adversary within TWI. What I am laying out here about a limited God should NOT be new material for you. If it is, then your shallow receiving of PFAL is evident.
  17. I know that. I pity the people who only know the god that has hijacked Western churchianity. The God of the Bible is limited until the Return of Christ. .".. thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!" (Sez Jesus)
  18. Look at how God portrays Himself in the Book of Job. He is like an all powerful judge, who's hands are tied, but then sees an opening at one point and halts the devil at killing Job. God is VERY limited in the world. Look at all the sin. Look at all the sickness. Look at all the death. They all are against God's will. God tells us He respects things we know not of. His ways are not our ways. God tells us He is limited, and He shows us how to eliminate some of those limitations, and He promises us His ultimate solution to His being limited is on his way. God will not be limited at the Return, but He most certainly is very limited now. Are YOU limiting God?
  19. You are right, in the sense that if we were asked for our approval in hiring VPW, we would be obliged and wise to apply the scriptures for us selecting ministers you just posted. If VPW were applying for the job of being a minister in a local or national church, he should not be given the job. Not without a thorough hearing of evidence. That is how God instructs us to pick leaders in our churches. But that is not what happened. It was God, not us humans, who tapped him to collect and refine and teach and distribute. He wasn't applying for that job at the time, but submitting his resignation from being a regular local minister. He accepted the job and he and God worked on it on and off, mostly whenever VPW was in fellowship, for the nest 42.5 years and a lot of people benefitted. God has foreknowledge and we don’t. That is why we have such strict requirements for out selection of candidates for jobs. God is not limited that way, because He has foreknowledge.
  20. I think you vastly underestimate the hindrances that limit God in His interventions behind enemy lines. Think of the meaning behind the prayer with understanding Jesus taught his apostles. Our Father ... thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is done in heaven. That prayer for God's will being done is FUTURE, when He is no longer limited in getting His will done. Without the paradigm from PFAL, of the 3 heavens and earths, and the ownership transfers, you can never understand how or why God is limited... temporarily.
  21. I can agree and sympathize with much of your post here about keeping your distance from TWI-4, and from your past with TWI-3, -2?, -1? But the opening, about looking at the boat wake model I strongly disagree. "No VPW was a fake man of God because when you do as Jesus Christ instructs and don’t listen to a man’s hype but look at the wake behind their boat all you see is faux. And destruction in the wake. " Let's compare how you and I look at the boatwake of the PFAL film&collaterals since 1968. I do not mean to look at the boatwake of VPW, because that is no loner available to view first hand. The film&collaterals wake is a lot more visible. Let’s compare how we sample opinions and attitudes of grads. I see a massive number of massively blessed for eternity people. They are popping up more and more via the Internet, and in lots of ways. You obviously see how eagerly I seek out and attempt rich fellowship and correspondence with antiPFAL grads, such as yourselves here at GSC. You see how I cross the boundaries of pro versus anti in grads’ attitudes towards film&collaterals. I cross these barriers all the time, and unceasingly since 1986. BUT do you see how eagerly I seek out and attempt rich fellowship and correspondence with proPFAL grads ??? No you don’t because I don’t do that here. What befell TWI-2 and TWI-3 has now befallen you folks: insularity. I don’t mean absolute insularity, but insularity relative to the major schism in the grad population: proPFAL versus antiPFAL. I am able to find common ground here and make some civil conversation that can lead to progress for the grad population. Well, I try to do the same thing with proPFAL grads everywhere, on the net and locally. None of them, hardly, are as intense on the special*collaterals as I am, but they like them in varying degrees. I run into a different set of resistances to my message with them. It is challenging for me there, sometimes, than it is for me here. There are a couple of extreme collateral fans like me scattered about, but we are aging and dying off pretty fast. Bill Winegarner was a proPFAL fan just a hair less intense than me. In his last year on earth, 2022, he self-published a beautifully hard bound Transcript of PFAL’68, the film class. He had made it himself or with friends. He and I worked a little on fixing an earlier flawed version around 2001. I have made it my business to stay in contact with all my grad contacts since 1971. I refuse to recognize the walls of insularity I saw being erected QUICKLY after the POP, snapping into a crystalized sub-cult mode. Further snapping, some of it good, happened in the decades after 1986, but the big ones happened then. I cross the walls the best I can, and I am learning to do it better, and the walls the moderately proPFAL grads threw up in the late 80s have eroded and gates installed and some leveled. You folks probably spend very few hours per week in friendly useful fellowship and rich discussion with moderately proPFAL people who have the collaterals in their living room bookcase. There are obviously a lot of them on the net for sure, and a small bunch of known ones in the R.O.A., the read-only audience. I know a bunch of moderately proPFAL grads locally, and scattered all around the country a larger bunch. From my perspective, the blessings from film&collaterals were massive, and the flesh failures of many who participated in distributing those blessings do not erase those printed books, nor the blessings received from them. The flesh failures NEED TO BE DEALT WITH better than the ways TWI-2 and TWI-3 dealt with them. I am thankful that some TWI-4 people are willing to approach these topics with me in private. They are figuring out how to handle and sort out both the assets and the liabilities TWI-3 handed them a few years ago. So I see changes in how lots of grads out there are changing, both Innies and Outies. By “out there” I mean outside this small active GSC fellowship of about ten active posters. Is anyone ready for a new phase in the recognized mission here? Do you really want to go out, one by one, aimlessly maintaining an anti-idol for anti-worship for a dying audience? Socks, are you out there reading this? You have often been a voice of moderation here. Can you see a change toward constructive criticism here as being possible?
  22. Read the green text above from Research Geek again. You missed it where he said the degree was genuine. I'll tell you why you think VPW was a fake man of God. It's because your preconceived notion was that a man of God has to be a goodie goodie, a holy man, a Jesus like person who had it all together in every category. Those who thought he was a tradition respected holy man were sorely disappointed, eventually. Keeping eyes on VPW and not on the Word that he taught caused a lot of bitter disillusionment. It was before I was in the Word for a full year that I saw and heard him distance himself from the goodie goodie holy man image at the end of Rock'72. He put in the class and in his writings the fact that he was weak, and sinned. First John chapter one tells us he had sin, but the holy man seekers glossed over that too. It you were expecting to see a copy of Jesus in VPW, then you are most disappointed now. I suggest you start all over and seek someone who will, again, teach you the Word.
  23. I have a bunch of the older versions, and the PDF copy that has been circulating for years is the old 6th edition from 1972.
  24. Sounds like you forgot where you learned it.
