Before I bow out completely here, and just for the record: I don’t need nor do I want any “publicity” for my thread. A quick check of the time stamps will reveal a steady high degree of activity. It’s so high I can hardly keep up with it.

rascal, You wrote: “Naw thats from tattered remnants I want something from the new edition of the bible...” At your request, on page 217 of TNDC Dr writes: “Verse 28: And now, little children, abide in him [in God through Christ Jesus]; that, when he [Christ] shall appear, we may have confidence [boldness], and not be ashamed before him [God] at his [Christ’s] coming. “At the return of Christ, we are going to be judged and rewarded for our walk with God. If we live with the renewed mind in manifestation and are in fellowship with God, we will not be ashamed or feel dishonorable. Rather, we shall have confidence.”

templelady, I’m sure Steve Lortz will be stopping in to say that he doesn’t use the word possessed. There are other devilish processes besides possession, and the possession pointers can alter their vocabulary to achieve the same intimidation effects. I’m glad you haven’t sunk into thinking I’m possessed, but do you want that kind of behavior, that we all found hopelessly repugnant when performed by the Corpse Nazis, to proliferate here too?

Bluzeman, You wrote: “Mike, I don't think ANYONE should call ANYONE possessed. But hey, Mike, and everyone else, let's don't make this another Mike vs. Everyone thread, ok?” OK! I don’t have the time to spend maintaining a position on two threads, so I’ll be leaving soon. Please, PLEASE people! Look around you at how history repeats itself.

rascal, Have you no shame?
-
rascal, I’m pointing out the hypocrisy of those who want to complain about possession pointing if it hits them or a friend, and yet LIKE it if it hits an enemy.

Tom Strange, You wrote: “aye chihuahua! are you volunteering? running for "possessed office"?” No Tom, I’m just pointing out how little thinking goes on here, and how history repeats itself from those who do not learn from it. There are people here who stood by inside TWI while their brothers and sisters who left around '89 were labeled as possessed, then later the possession pointers picked them, and now they complain at how the possession pointing tactic was so stupid and nasty. YET it goes on here under their noses AGAIN!

Mister P-Mosh, Do you know that Steve is $hitting ds turds in the food kettles here? Are you going to stand for that?

Eagle, Have you looked at my threads lately? …or at all? You wrote: “So far, no evidence of possession by any here on this thread or at grease spot.” Click on Steve Lortz’s name and see how dedicated (or driven) he is at pointing out devil spirits in my words. He posts long and often on this. It’s pretty much the ONLY thing he posts on. Do you think that possession pointers are ok here? …or just bad at TWI?

Hey templelady, Do you think I'm possessed?

. . . . . A couple of things occurred to me while reading this post. ************************************************************* Number One: It seems that no one here on this thread has yet put two and two together on what hard recent data we have here. Harve Platig contacted GreaseSpot and thus privately recognized its existence. He then negotiated with Paw to have an official TWI letter posted here, thus publicly recognizing our existence here. I paid no attention to the contents of his letter, because I know first hand how common the controversy was that it addressed, so I have no idea who the good guys are and who the bad guys are in that situation, nor do I want to derail this thread with THAT topic. That Harve would reach out with a written communication to possessed people does not make sense. I think he realizes that we have legitimate beefs here, but the corporate inertia and their concerns for protecting their young believers limit the speed with which they can deal with these issues. The fact that he DID try to communicate to people here indicates to me that at the top, they do NOT feel we are all possessed or that the devil runs this show. I think that in lower levels of TWI leadership things may not be nearly so clean. It takes time to change a corporate attitude. ************************************************************* Number Two: It is my opinion that anyone who posts here with an attitude of disgust at how in the past the charge of possession was used as an crude intimidation tool, and yet has stood by silent while the EXACT SAME THING goes on with Steve Lortz (and others) charging me with possession or collusion with devil spirits in my threads here, is probably a sleeping bigoted hypocrite, if not an alert bigoted hypocrite. . . . . .

Uncle H, As you check out more of my posts you’ll find that the detestable doctrines you mention are NOT in the PFAL books but in the TVT that we succumbed to. TVT stands for Twi’s Verbal Tradition, and it got worse and worse as the years went on. Dr’s last teaching is a stark example of how we, especially top leadership, started to migrate from the fountain of living waters, to our own broken cisterns. Top leadership had such a poor handle on Dr’s advice by 1985, that they let his final instructions slip by unheeded and even unnoticed. This teaching, and it’s loss, is THE smoking gun to the ministry meltdown. The one villain theory is bunk. We ALL drifted from God. When we do what this teaching urges, things will get better again, MUCH better. I still run into grads who were not given the opportunity to ever see this teaching. I’m grateful for this forum allowing this information to come to light.

You're right, Tom. :(--> I am guilty. I repent. I won't jerk this thread back to the top ever again. ... --> oh! Whoops! :D--> I accidently jerked it up this time.
-
Hi Tom, Will you forgive me as easily as you did SL for bringing this back to the top? The reason I did this is because I’ve been tracking a log on the number of hits this thread gets, even when it’s way down the charts. In the past 24 hours it has been hit only three times. But in the 3 days before that it was hit 70 times. Who’d a ever thunk it! So, I just thought I’d bring this up to the top, like SL, for easier reference for those readers.

I'm a little baffled too, Tom.

. I thought I’d come here just to get a feel for what it will be like when I’m banished to the Doctrinal forum. :D--> Actually, I DO have a genuine tech question. When the new upgrade at GreaseSpot took effect a week or so ago, I immediately noticed that I can no longer save GreaseSpot pages in the .mht format on Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. After 50% is saved, it aborts and says I can't save this file to that location. The .mht format is very convenient in that it saves the entire page into one file. In MS Internet Explorer the saving options are: -- Web Page, complete (*.htm, *.html) – but this is a file PLUS an associated folder with many other files. -- Web Archive, single file (*.mht) – I like this the best -- Web Page, HTML only (*.htm, *.html) – messes up apostrophes, quotes, and screen width -- Text File (*.txt) – this also messes up apostrophes and quotes, and it’s blandness is harder to read. If the .mht single file cannot be fixed, is there a way to adjust the second option I mentioned above? This format, Web Page HTML only, is very inconvenient with it’s wide screen width and messed up quotes.

Steve!, You wrote: “Your logic is so twisted and tangled and inapplicable, that sidestepping it is not possible.†It only looks that way to you because you are so filled with emotional reasoning about Dr and PFAL and the ministry. Some of those emotions are based on fact, but should still be gotten over. I’m rooting for your maturation.
-
oldiesman, This is serious stuff. You’re sidestepping again. Have you found any verses yet to support belief in free will vs. determinism yet? Have you found any verses to support God having total foreknowledge yet? If your experiences suggest that it’s determinism and no foreknowledge, are you going to believe that way and proclaim it to others? Will you get more thorough and master PFAL and see what experiences that stimulates? Have you wondered WHY clear verses on Christian tithing, free will over determinism, and God’s total foreknowledge are so scant in your KJV? All these things are serious matters.
-
oldiesman, I think you’re sidestepping my logic. I was showing you that your logic was not considering the possibility that CSBP was of God. *** Yes, both Gods want you to prosper, within the contexts of their operations. The True God always wants you to prosper, but because this world you live in is behind enemy lines, certain conditions must be met for His will to prevail. The adversary wants you to prosper if you are doing his work in casting doubt on the integrity and accuracy of God’s Word. You decide from whom you’re going to receive your prosperity.

Pirate1974, You wrote: “...I think you're just another internet troll that likes to keep stuff stirred up by making outageous statements.†No, I am sincere about my message. It’s too internally consistent to be made up for spurious purposes. If you look at the passages that I bring up, they are very much in the category of lost items, that either slipped by people or were forgotten. Also, if you think it through, it is truly a great blessing I am proclaiming, that God would give us His Word again, settling all the scholarly and theological debates that plague our understanding with confusion and doubt. If I wanted to troll, I could come up with much more controversial material that would not be a blessing if true, and that would not be internally consistent. *** You wrote: “Bringing up this old thread yourself because people had obviously lost interest in you was the first sign.†Maybe you didn’t notice, but just prior to me bringing this thread back up, my “Masters..†thread was collecting ten times the number of hits as all the others on the board. You are imagining this loss of interest you mention. For sure you didn’t notice that my first post here, when I did bring it back up, was due to someone interested enough to be asking me (on my other thread) about some of the details regarding the loss of this last teaching of Dr’s. I responded over there, and then thought it would also be best placed in this thread. I was ready to post no more here and let it slip down the charts, but many more were interested in posting here, thus keeping it up. *** I think YOU are trolling me by mentioning lack of interest, when exactly the opposite is the case. *** You wrote: “If I ever do see Jesus Christ with the orange book, I'm going to ask him what he thinks about that mother and her little boy story. That should be interesting.†That situation with the little boy has already been covered on this board many times, and most recently on the “Masters...†thread. Maybe Jesus will tell you to do an Advanced Search with “Mike†in the Author filter, and “woman + little + boy†in the search box and to not bother him, wasting his time on something you can easily find on GreaseSpot.
