It took me 5 years or so just praying and thinking about it, but I thought I would lose my hubby if I left. Finally it came down to "I'm outta here" even if I do lose hubby. My favorite was hearing my father sing O Holy Night and the Lords Prayer. He had the most beautiful Irish tener voice I'd ever heard. I still have an album with the Los Angeles Philharmonic choir and him singing those songs solo. He also did We three kings solo. I got a flue shot 2 weeks ago, its the first time I ever got a flue shot, but I have had shots to prevent pnuemonia, as I had it so often, but not since I got the shot, so in addition to the flu shot you might consider also the pnuemonia shot. Oh and Exxie, my daughter is a PA and assistant surgeon specializing in cardio-vascular deseases. I usually go to her first cuz she is so intellegent and usually can give me a diagnoses or she will tell me what DR. to go to, as she knows the good ones from the bad or not so good ones in our community. She saved my life once when I noticed that my heart was beating about 32 times a minute. She put me in a holter monitor and when she read the results found out that my heart was "pausing" over 900 times in a 24 hour period. I now have a pacemaker and my heart is beating just fine. I remember when HGB was sold in health stores and it wound up killing many people. I'm not against using herbs or "natural" medicines, but I beleive you have to be careful as one poster says you don't just go around taking anything that comes along just cuz it says natural. I didn't vote cuz none of the above is what I do. But last night I tripped and fell and ripped my arm wide open. Now what do I do? Put herbs on it and hope it heals? No I called my daughter and asked her to stitch me up. She met me at her office and walllaaaaa I'm all stitched up and have an RX for antibiotics. Taking motrin for pain and am very grateful for my daughter.
