The two stars of this live action series did not meet until after the first season had already been filmed. The lead actor's ex-wife appeared in several episodes. She later remarried: her new husband had the same first and last name as the character her ex-husband played in this series. The secondary lead actor appears nowhere in the credits. He also appears only once in the series in a brief cameo, not as his character.

Can't resist: Deadpool 2

That was a fake name. Hence, spoiler alert.

My apologies: I thought this was movie mashup, but it's name that flick. With that in mind, I'll go with the quote WW referred to because he obviously knows this movie: "They *always* got food with them. We eat to live - these guys live to eat! Let me show you what I'm talking about! The human mouth is called a 'piehole', the human being is called a 'couch potato'. *That* is a device to summon food. That is one of the many voices of food. *That* is the portal for the passing of food. *That* is one of the many food transportation vehicles. Humans bring the food, take the food, ship the food, they drive food, they wear the food! *That* gets the food hot! *That* keeps the food cold! *That*... I'm not sure what that is... Well, what do you know? FOOD! *That* is the altar where they WORSHIP food! That's what they eat when they've eaten TOO MUCH food! *That* gets rid of the guilt so they can eat MORE FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! FOOOOOD! So, you think they have enough? Well, they don't. For humans, enough is *never* enough! And what do they do with the stuff they don't eat? They put it in gleaming silver cans, just for us! Dig in!"

I thought ROse Loomis might have been the name of her character in Scream 2. (Spoiler alert)

Laurie Metcalf

Should have mentioned: This was animated.

I suppose Annie technically qualifies too. So, no, the title refers to a thing.

Not a lot of movies based on comic strips. This is one. There is no title "character", per se, but one character suggests referring to the title ... object as "Steve." The character is played by an actor named Steve. There's a popular brand of potato chips with the slogan "no one can eat just one." It was not used in this movie. Instead, we got a combo of that slogan referring to another faux brand (that can easily be traced to a different real-life brand of chips). The fake slogan for the real brand... "enough just isn't enough."

48 Hours WAS Eddie Murphy's breakout film, and he was a main star. So no. This comedy (goofier than 48 hours) starred a large ensemble case, but he main actor was and remains a relative unknown. Relative. Like a D-lister. You might have heard of him only because he shares a name with a famous acting family, of which he is not a member. But if you look at the poster, you would think the main actor was someone else entirely. The woman who sang the theme song has a cameo as herself.

oh,. ok. My turn then. If you look at the poster for this early/mid-80s comedy, you would be forgiven for thinking one of the supporting actors was in fact the lead actor. Nope. He just had his breakout role shortly before this movie came out, and the marketing team (rightly) wanted to capitalize on it. Jim Carrey tried out for the lead. Producers felt he was too talented to be in an ensemble. He became famous later as part of the In Living Color ensemble, which has... nothing to do with this movie. The woman who sang the theme song (not the title song: there was no title song) had major success with two other movie soundtrack songs. This one... didn't do so hot.

At last. Stacey Keanan (who?) played the lead character. Paul Reiser (Mad About You) was one dad. Greg Evigan (BJ and the Bear) was the other. There was an episode about a DNA test, but by then the series was underway. In reality, it's inconceivable this would not have taken place before the pilot episode. Florence Stanly reprised the role of Judge Wilbur from this series on Night Court because why not.

The character played by the main actress never learns the identity of her biological father.
