What are the odds? My birthday and my ex-s birthday fall on the same day of the week every year. What are the odds? (Hint: there's a REAL simple answer, and a REAL complicated answer).
-
Explain this one please. What do you mean "odds are." The odds always are. If you put two people in the same room, odds are roughly 364:1 that they have the same birthday. If you put 367 people in a room, it's 100% certain that at least two will share the same birthday. What's special about 23 people?

Clearly Vader was kept busy for about 20 years, too busy to ever really look for his kid. The explanation above doesn't account for that 20 (or 19) year period: yeah, he'll get noticed when he applies for Academy (whatever that was), but for 19 years before that Vader never calls up ol' Owen and says "listen, lemme know if a crazed scientist or a wild eyed kid starts asking you about the Almanac." Or have I gotten my sequels mixed up. Good explanation on the pilot and the 3PO deal.

How about this: I decline to read those books, and you just tell us. :)--> Luke asked Leia in Jedi if she remembered her "real mother." If a kid could race a pod, that doesn't make him "quite a pilot." It makes him quite a pod racer. That's like seeing someone fly a plane and calling him "quite an astronaut." Nooooooo... And the battle of Naboo? Dude, that was pure dumb luck with a little Force thrown in.

For the sake of keeping the game moving, I'm going to give it to George St George. The answer was Scary Movie, no bloody 2 or 3. PIRATE! Jump in any time with your clue!

Right track. Wrong Train.

Ok, here's one: The answer is NOT, repeat, NOT the Sixth Sense: "I see dead people..." Extra credit if you complete the line.

My God is not that small. If it weren't for Victor Paul Wierwille, my God would have found another way to show me the things I've learned.

The original THE had so many posts that Waydale was forced to shut it down. Impressed? Me neither.

The sweet Irish lady who kisses her children and tells them a lovely story in Titanic, and the gruff macho Marine lady in Aliens... are the same person.

David, Penta water is bunk. Rafael P.S. Why should it be anyone's concern how many "views" a thread has?

My favorite was: "I see dumb people. They're everywhere. They don't know they're dumb!"

Here's another question... How do you artificially extend the life of a thread that has long since run its purpose, made its point, and generates no new information about the topic? A. Name it THE. B. Call it a countdown and see if anyone gives a rat's patootie. C. Ask irrelevant questions, all the while marvelling at the popularity of a topic no one's discussing anymore.

In the original game (check forums for moviemistakes.com) you're not allowed to use an actor or movie unless he or it has not been used for at least three pages. I haven't said that here, but to keep it rolling, it's a bit more fun to have a little variety. This page begins with a Keanu reference. I know he's "The One" and all, but let's try some different actors, eh?

Sean Penn? Bzzzzt. Sean Penn was not in Bill and Ted's Excellent Advienture OR Bogus Journey. Try again.
