  1. Ok, I confess. It describes me. :)
  2. Oh please! (Just kidding. Ignore feature is on. :) )

    TS Tammy

I try not to call the storms "hurricanes" or "tropical storms" in the thread title because the status of the storm may change. In this case, thank God, it probably won't.
  4. I specifically told people I did not expect to get the promotion I eventually got. If believing were a law governed by how you speak, it would not matter whether I believed it was a law or not. I should not have gotten that job. But I did. Praise God.
  5. WTH: The reason believing works is that God is faithful. The reason the "law of" believing doesn't work is not what people say about it, but its lack of existence in the first place. Evan put it best: it's what and whom we believe that makes it work. Confidence, enthusiasm, determination, perseverance: all are admirable qualities, and they will get you far. But they are not "believing."
  6. I see templelady posted one of Mike's rants about how woe is he because he keeps getting challenged, and wondering how long it will take for me or Belle to hit unignore. Hey, I reserve the right to read people quoting you, dude. Let me say that there is no temptation whatsoever to hit unignore, so you'll be waiting a long, long time for that. Let me also say that you've never adequately dealt with any criticism or critique with anything other than lies, evasions, dodgings, distractions...

    Katrina the Tsunami

The final death toll from New Orleans is 964, and is not expected to rise any further. In Mississippi, it's 221. In all, not quite as low as Bill hoped, not nearly as high as I feared. Yes, rhino, you win the Greasespot Hat and T-Shirt award. Well done.
  8. Umm, Allan, that IS Mike's one issue. I have no problem with your position. In fact, we could probably have a healthy and respectful discussion on the topics covered in those books. We may not always agree, but that's fine.
  9. Me too, Hopefull. Hugs.
  10. They did not forsake a ministry. The "ministry" forsook them by betraying anything good that was in it.
  11. That's nice, Oldiesman. Mikes false god is an apologist for thievery, his false Christ needs PFAL to increase his understanding of God, and his false prophet is even a distortion of the Wierwille you respect.
  12. I hit the ignore thing yesterday. It's quite liberating. I haven't received the books yet. I'll be eager to report back once I do. Trying to keep an open mind on it.
  13. Look for the forum at http://www.moviemistakes.com Warning: tons of pop-ups. And there's a membership fee. The membership fee is not needed to navigate the site. It is needed to post in the forum, but I think you can read without being a member.
  14. I'm still waiting for the part where we get to the difference.
  15. I only "steal" my own (with maybe one exception, which I labeled). Tom, if you want to go, by all means do so.
  16. Bliss, I've never asked Mike to leave, nor have I ever tried to silence him. In fact, I invited him to LES.
  17. Somehow, Mike, when you try to rebut what I say, you only prove it further. Your god is a fake, your Jesus is a counterfeit, your idol was a predator of God's people, and your preciousssssss is an error-riddled work of dishonest plagiarism. As for your opinion, I already have stuffed it. And flushed it. It's now where it belongs.
  18. Pineapple pizza will now be served in the TWI cafeteria.
  19. Skillful evasion, Mike. And I do not bow to you, or your idolatrous interpretation of the life and writings of Mr. Victor Paul Wierwille.
  20. In fact, the combination automatically disqualifies it from being a ministry. This is like putting arsenic inside a hydrochloric acid solution and calling it a cocktail. Drink up!
  21. Why is it that after reading this indisputable evidence of an indisputable lie, some people still don't get that he was lying about the 1942 snowstorm too? Oh, it was a vision. Oh, it could have happened with few people noticing, no evidence anywhere. How about this: Oh, the guy fabricates snowstorms to embellish his stories, never figuring anyone would have the courage to check.
  22. For the record, dead bugs on a cold pizza... ... and it ain't pizza anymore.
  23. Ah, the Emo Phillips defense. Haven't seen that one in a long time. Let's go over a few areas where we disagree, shall we? Dr. Got revelation from God in 1942, saw snow on the gas pumps to prove it. His vicious, predatory behavior is excusable, considering the things he taught. In fact, his victims are more at fault than he was. The works he penned are more reliable than the Bible itself, and supercede it whether there's evidence for such a conclusion or not. The creator of heaven and earth is incapable of getting a man to communicate His Word without resorting to plagiarism. If not for Wierwille's writings, Jesus would not know as much as he does today. Mike, you are not my brother, because Jesus Christ is not your Lord. And yes, I could think of plenty of Bible verses where we would disagree. Those condemning idolatry come to mind.
