  1. I can make tonight forever or I can make it disappear by the dawn. And I can make you every promise that has ever been made and I can make all your demons be gone. But I'm never gonna make it without you. Do you really wanna see me crawl? And I'm never gonna make it like you do. TITLE
  2. I thought of Ray Park [Darth Maul], but doesn't fit the clues. Trilogies with swordplay: Lord of the Rings Star Wars Others: Princess Bride, Willow, any Musketeers movie, Robin Hood... Drawing blanks
  3. Originally a true story set in France in the 1500s, the American remake is set in the post-Civil War South
  4. It's not Meat Loaf, but there's a good reason you thought of him. Also not Rod Stewart
  5. We are $75 short. If you have any ability other than paypal [venmo, cashapp, zelle] let me know and I'll forward the payments to gsc/paw
  6. Hannibal Lecktor (misspelled) and William Stryker were next.
  7. Logan Roy Agamemnon God Death J. Edgar Hoover
  8. This show debuted after producers realized, post O.J., that America had the attention span to follow a single case for an entire year. Still, it wasn't until halfway through the first season that producers dropped sideplots and focused on the one case. The second season focued on three cases: The first two overlapped, while the third one stood alone over a period of several weeks (broadcasting as a miniseries after it was decided this series was toast). The lead actor in the first season was fired before the second began. Most of the remaining cast stayed on, though not all.
  9. I'll go with The Dick Van Dyke Show
  10. Oops. I should have confirmed. Yes, it is correct
  11. Bump. Folks, we really need less help than usual, but faster than usual.
  12. Pretty sure there have been more than 3 English versions of Hamlet. I know of 3 WITHOUT David Tennant [I don't know of any with him]. Hmmm.
  13. First of all, on behalf of the mods and Pawtucket, I want to thank everyone who has found it in their heart and means to contribute to the upkeep of GSC. As you hospefully recall, this website costs about $1,200 a year to operate. Much of that cost is born by Pawtucket, although in recent years we have called on you to help out with the cost. We have put our money where our mouths are: I almost never post a fundraising request without donating, and today will be no exception. This year, to keep everything going for a year, it will only cost $400. But we have to act fast, so I'm asking everyone to pitch in what we can by June 2. I am still hoping we can reach our $1,200 annual goal (if only so that we don't need to do this again in a year). The yellow "donate" button is at the top of every page. Let's do this.
  14. I don't know about that movie, but this thread is old enough to vote. If it survives until the next election. Shane. Egad.
  15. On second thought, let me go with an easier one: On a warm summer's evening, on a train bound for nowhere... Extra credit if you can name them both
  16. While she lays sleeping I stay up late at night and play my songs And sometimes all the nights can be so long
  17. Emilio Estevez. Tom Cruise had an uncredited role in Young Guns.
