That's quite an entrance, Zoltan. Coffee?
-
What, no drambuie? Don't you know where you are? :)
-
It's been my habit to get the new people here a cup of coffee, but after seeing this post...

That's the only time I've seen someone get it right and wrong at the same time. George, forget the movie you posted: check the clue. Say it three times fast. Five times. As many times as it takes...

Rhino is correct, and yes, that is a Mai Tai. :)

This should take about 0.372 seconds

Try this site: http://www.wanderlist.com/TVcommercials Dang, I thought there was a link there. THere's not. I'll keep looking.
-
Bluzeman, I was not aware of that. I'll ask Paw if we can delete some of the older ones.
-
Actually, sounds like you're back ON topic to me. :) For the rest of this tract, CLICK HERE.

Hey Mark, You didn't need to delete EVERYTHING, including links, didja?

WordWolf, By what standard did you say Stuyvesant was number 3 behind Bronx Science and Brooklyn Tech? It was the toughest of the three to get into (Science was second, Tech was third).

Prince of Tides ?

Are they your own images, or from the web? Rhino's way is easier. You can also do this: If they're from the web, right click on the picture and look for "properties." When that pops up, you'll see a line that says "Address (URL)". Copy the url. Then type (img) (using brackets, [], instead of parentheses). Paste the url, then type (/img) (again using brackets instead of parentheses).

I'd like to think you've heard the word "mosque" in the last 35 years. Masjid is more obscure, easier to forget. :)
-
Some Muslims use the word "masjid" instead of "mosque." MAYBE that's why Mike had trouble remembering it?
-
He means he didn't understand you. Try asking your question a different way. I thought he answered you quite fully, so obviously, I didn't understand your question either.

Actually, Dance Hall Days was Wang Chung's first hit. Everybody Have Fun Tonight was second, if memory serves.

And that's with a THE thread that's been DYING. Remember, the current THE thread is only the most recent. The original THE thread had more posts than this has had views. :) Die, THE, Die! Oh, that's simple then. The answer is, don't.

Where to begin? 1. This is not a forum about newspaper experiences and the media. Rants against newspapers aren't expected. Rants against TWI should not be a shock to anyone on this site. 2. If you had ranted against newspapers on an open forum, I would have said, "Wow. Sorry you feel that way. But I still love my job." I would not have said, "Well, if the anti-newspaper people aren't going to be happy for me, I'm just going to leave Greasespot, you inconsiderate oafs!" This is a site where anti-TWI statements are to be expected. Why were they such a SHOCK in this circumstance? Because it was an announcement? Really? That's the best argument you've got? Because I've already dispelled that one. Announcement: to everyone making announcements promoting old TWI materials: Not everyone here appreciates old TWI materials, and praise GOD we have the right to say it now! Don't be surprised if some people do. It's a freedom we were deprived of in TWI. Toughen up a little. Even Mike laughs at my stuff sometimes!

We all do it, Duane. You'll get the hang of it.
