I wanted to thank Oldiesman for turning me on to the work of Christopher Browning (who believes, incidentally, that Hitler ordered the execution of Jews, many in gas chambers, and killed about 6 million). I bought two of his books: The Origin of the Final Solution, and Ordinary Men. Great stuff.
