  1. My Hometown was correct And yes, Harwell died
  2. The lead actress on this show appeared in all 264 episodes. No other actors even came close. The second most number of appearances was by William Windom (known to us nerds as the guy who played Decker in the original series Star Trek episode "The Doomsday Machine." Windom appeared in 53 episodes of this series. The show ran 12 seasons. The lead actress was nominated for an Emmy every time. She lost every time. She was considering a role in a half-hour comedy series, but her agent convinced her to go along with this hour-long drama instead. Her character's middle name, Beatrice, was a tribute to one of her best friends, who DID take the part in the comedy series. Chaka Demus & Pliers turned the title of this series into a hip hop/rap song. Aside from the title, it had nothing to do with the series.
  3. Well NOW it's a giveaway. The Rookies SWAT was a spinoff
  4. "It's the Fujita scale. It measures a tornado's intensity by how much it eats." "Eats?" "Destroys. That one we encountered back there was a strong F2. Possibly an F3." "Maybe we'll see some 4's." "That would be sweet."
  5. An hour long show with title characters whose names do not appear in the title, capable of being edited into half hour episodes for syndication. Shows like The Love Boat and Fantasy Island could be trimmed, but they do not have title characters. Misfits of Science never got syndicated. The Waltons (If I'm going to take the plural NAMES literally), but no idea who the non-Walton fan favorite would be. I am confident it's an older show (70s or 80s, MAYBE 90s but I doubt it). No standout character in The A-Team (was that ever syndicated?) Technically, she's a title character, but I'm gonna go with Daisy Duke getting more fan mail than Bo or Luke, neither of whose names appear in the title The Dukes of Hazzard.
  6. "Explain this to me again. I didn't know somebody could shoot themself with their own arrow." *** "You gonna do some praying for me, boy. And you better pray good."
  7. "I was 8 years old and running with a dime in my hand To the bus stop to pick up the paper for my old man. I'd sit on his lap in that big old Buick and steer as he drove through town. He'd tousle my hair and say "Son, take a good look around..."
  8. Poor chap had the misfortune of dying the same week as Jimmy Buffett and the guy from Smashmouth. Gary Wright, you're an all star. Dreamweaver
  9. lol. ok that was a gag answer anyway, but thanks for the clue
  10. I know only one Ufgood, but his name wasn't Oberon that I recall. The actor who played Ufgood DID play Marvin, sort of, in a David Prowse sort of way. And while I don't remember a character named Lickspittle, it sounds like just the type of "Whatever go ahead and mock me with a BIGGER check... see what I did there?" Peck. Peck peck peck peck peck. Warwick Davis
  11. Lost in Space "Cow... Another cow." "Actually I think that's the same one."

Yup. Anyone see the Dolphins v. Chargers? Dolphins win 36-34 in a match that should have had both teams lose their defensive coordinators.
  13. I mean, yes, but you don't need to wait for approval on this thread
  14. Are you sure it wasn't Kissimmee St. Cloud, starring in McGruder and Loud?
  15. Shows with multiple title characters whose stars might have hosted SNL decades ago... Friends Designing Women Sanford and Son The Jeffersons Mork and Mindy Laverne and Shirley Misfits of Science My Two Dads I see Robin Williams having the best time with this, so Mork n Mindy
  16. "A naked American man just stole my balloons."
  17. Sorry, but Singing in the Rain and "ultra violence" narrows this down significantly for me. A Clockwork Orange
