  3. Actually, the line about the lack of a tan was directed at a non-vampire. It is Twilight.
  4. Chronicle and I Am Number 4 are closer in genre to the movie I'm thinking of than Unbreakable and Hancock. Much closer. But that's like Alpha Centauri being much closer to Earth than Sirius. Still pretty damn far away. "Hey you're from Arizona right?" "Yeah." "Aren't people from Arizona supposed to be like, really tan?" "Yeah, maybe, that's why they kicked me out." One more hint: this is a RIDICULOUSLY popular movie that you've all heard of. If you haven't seen it, you probably say so with at least a hint of pride.
  5. Spider-Man Kirsten Dunst Interview with the Vampire
  6. Clue: Odds are, you hate most things about this movie. That is, if demographics and Internet memes are instructive on the matter. Individual tastes may vary.
  7. It is not any incarnation of Superman. "Are you going to tell me how you stopped the van?" "Yeah. Um... I had an adrenaline rush. It's very common. You can Google it." *** "Will you tell me the truth?" "No, probably not. I'd rather hear your theories." "I have considered radioactive spiders and kryptonite." "All superhero stuff right? But what if I'm not the hero? What if I am the bad guy?" "You're not."
  8. Not Hancock. Hancock was already known to have superhuman strength. No one would have asked him how he stopped the van. So you need a movie featuring a super-strong character (I will verify that your conclusion there was correct) but whose super-strength was not common knowledge.
  9. "Give me the whip." "Throw me the idol. No time to argue! Throw me the idol, I'll throw you the whip." ... "Give me the whip!" "Adios, Senor."
  10. "Are you going to tell me how you stopped the van?" "Yeah. Um... I had an adrenaline rush. It's very common. You can Google it."
  11. Jimmy Cagney. Is it King of the World? I'm basing that off the clue, not recalling any movie by that name. Looked it up. It's not king of the world. But it is Cagney.
  12. Close enough. It's October Sky, not Skies. But you got the spirit of it. Carry on.
  13. I know who said it, but I've forgotten the name of the movie. This is the last line in the film, if I recall correctly.
  14. A CIA agent tries to track down a renegade Russian submarine harboring a coal miner's son with an interest in rocketry.
  15. Those two quotes were in the same movie? I'm picturing something like Game of Thrones crossed with Quick Change, so I will have to guess... Ghostbusters II?
  16. Thinking of something. Haven't gone away. Gimme a little more time...
  17. Lawrence of Arabia it is. It doesn't seem like it, but "It was written, then," was actually very, very funny. Depending on how warped your sense of humor is.
  18. You missed a step there, WordWolf. But that's ok. Brigitte (sp?) Nielsen (sp?) was in Red Sonja and Beverly Hills Cop 2. So, from Shrek Cameron Diaz The Mask Jim Carrey
  19. " Yes, it was my privilege to know him and to make him known to the world. He was a poet, a scholar and a mighty warrior. He was also the most shameless exhibitionist since Barnum & Bailey." *** "There is the railway. And that is the desert. From here until we reach the other side, no water but what we carry with us. For the camels, no water at all. If the camels die, we die. And in twenty days they will start to die." "There's no time to waste, then, is there?" *** "What ails the Englishman?" "The one he killed is the one he brought out of the Nafud." "It was written, then. Better to have left him there."
