A couple of things, and I'll just speak for myself. I don't think anyone is stupid for believing. I believed most of my life. I don't think anyone is a lunatic, either, BUT I would make a similar comment with the understanding that it's essentially a challenge. In asking this question, are you assuming the Bible to be true? John 11:51-52 seems pretty clear to me. Do you have any reason to doubt the authenticity of the verse?
