  1. John 16:1-17; Still heading towards that garden; in verse 5, I changed “Him that sent me” to “My Father?” In verse 7, I changed “Come” to “Be sent?” I left out in verse 14, “He will glorify me” we could put these things back, but why? These things have I said to you, that you may not be stumbled. For they will eject you from their synagogues; and the hour will come, that whoever kills you, will think that he has offered an offering to Yahweh; and these things they will do, because they have not known my Father, nor me. These things have I spoken to you, that when the time of them comes, you may recollect, that I told you of them; and I did not tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you. But now, I am going to my Father; and none of you asks me, where are you going? And because I have told you these things, sorrow has come and has filled your hearts; but I tell you the truth, that it is profitable for you that I go away; for, if I go not away, the comforter will not be sent to you; but if I go, I will sent it to you; and when it is come, it will rebuke the world concerning sin, concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment; concerning sin, because they believe not in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. Moreover, I have many other things to tell you, but you cannot grasp them now; but when the power of the Truth is come, it will lead you into all the truth. For it will not speak from itself; but whatever it hears, that will it speak; and it will make known to you things to come, because it will receive of what is mine, and will show it to you. Whatever the Father has, is mine; therefore said I to you that it will receive of what is mine, and will show it to you. A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me, because I go to the Father.”
  2. John is a cool read, but to see John in the storyline of the other gospels, is cool too. Wisdom was in the beginning with Yahweh, that is too cool, These first five chapters of John are mind bidding, Yeshua goes to that Passover, one year later we read what they did to Yeshua? The first five verse of John are even more mind bidding, Yahweh's wisdom is something else, looking back at this in hindsight, Satan should not have killed Yeshua, Yeshua would have lived for 900 or 1000 or so years, because of that pure blood, same pure blood Adam had, Genesis 3:16? Logos over looks a lot of these truths in John, what Yeshua the anointed of Yahweh just went through them 40 days and 40 nights, then to have go through Satans bullfrogs, look at Yahweh's wisdom in just allowing Yeshua to go through that, but Yahweh is fair to Satan, didn't Yahweh put the tree of knowledge of good and evil next to the tree of life? Verse four, Adam's offspring had a shot at that life, that tree of life produces, but Adam got tricked, and got kicked out of the garden, Satan was under a lot of pressure, he had to get Adam or Eve to eat of that tree of knowledge of good and evil, before Adam and Eve had kids, who would have eaten off the tree of life, and they would have gotten that life, the same life Yeshua got, and the same life we will get? That life is a cool word study in John?
  3. What is new nature; Yeshua’s walk? Like I have the right to reason this walk, I fall short of it all day long, that walk is hard for me. It is a struggle to grow fruit, that new nature is planted in you, Yahweh planted it? You are old nature thanks to Adam’s doings, but in this day and time, a seed of a new nature, in which Yahweh plants into your old nature? “Who are in” those who are growing fruit, but that growing is on you, and you alone? Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance, this is what we are trying to grow in our lives, we were not born with these, because these are one fruit, their in is the meaning of growing of fruit? Just somehow, someway, we work it out, because doing these things are not in our old nature, but that seed of new nature that Yahweh has planted in us, we struggle in our growth; each in their own struggle, and yet, their struggle is our struggle, we all share in the same struggles, in one form or other? One does not just grow love and temperance, and think they are growing fruits, because it is all of these things, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance in one fruit; when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in new nature and truth? I could be wrong on this, but it seems VeePee went for that fruits teaching, with that being fruits, it seems one is opened for being controlled? To be honest, I don’t know what VeePee taught on that fruits, but from what I have been learning at the Cafe, it sure seems VeePee’s actions showed he taught fruits? It seems VeePee went with the broken up version of these nine things, because one of these nine parts of that fruit, is also tied into one of the nine manifestations of the power from on high? What a trip, power from on high is tied right into that fruit that we struggle to grow, faithfulness? Mind bidding, how that fruit got broke up into nine fruits, just seems what VeePee did with that fruits, I read a lot of hurt? Doesn’t it say, fan that power into a flame, faithfulness; the same faithfulness that you are growing in your fruit? Doesn’t it say, do not quench the power; not being faithful, not growing the fruit that is in you, being more faithful to that old nature, then that seed of new nature that has been planted in you? The growing of that fruit is on the person, and on the person alone before Yahweh? Is the fruit of the new nature, fruit or fruits, what are your reasonings?
  4. John 15:20-27; in verse 20, I changed that “Word” to “Teachings”, I saw in a text where later in verse 20, that text used “Observed my teaching” but other texts used “Observed my word” so why not use “Teachings” instead of “Word”? In verse 21, I left out “That sent me”, as a result of leaving that out, I have left out verse 22, seems verse 22 does not line up to the Mosaic covenant? Just some thoughts to throw out to the Cafe, who knows? Remember my teachings, that I spoke to you, that there is no servant, who is greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; and if they have observed my teaching, they will also observe yours; but all these things will they do to you, on account of my name, because they know not him; he that hates me, hates my Father also. If I had not done works before their eyes, such as no other man has ever done, they would be without sin; but now they have seen, and hated me, and also my Father, so that in them will be fulfilled the word which is written in their law, they hated me, without a cause; but when the comforter comes, which I will send to you from my Father, that power of truth which proceeds from my Father, it will testify of me; and do you also testify; for you have been with me from the beginning.
  5. I guess the Tanakh is broken up into three parts; the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings? I didn't know this Tanakh thing was around, I remember hearing of a Torah, i just thought the Torah was the book? One night last year, I was searching for Hebrew texts on the net, and stubbled across a course from Yale and it was free. Christine Hayes, that woman is mind bidding, the reasonings coming out of that woman mouth. Through Christine Hayes is how I learned of a Tanakh, I guess Tanakh stands for the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings; what is that thing called, like Nasa means something, Tanakh means the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings? Hope that makes sense?
  6. John 15:20-27 Check out how tight this storyline is, as they are still walking towards that garden?
  7. I have honestly brought before the GreaseSpot Cafe, an overview of the gospel of John in different threads, trying to reason John, without the Creeds of man? “Wisdom” instead of the meaning of Logos, should be no problem? The Tanakh, funny how it just bust that Logos chops pretty good, I wonder what Christine Hayes would think about these Creeds influents on the Tanakh? I am just GreaseSpot learning, maybe someday someone will come, and help me reason this stuff out? I am not one of those who committed themselves to a function of the body with a covenant of salt, I’m just a line cook, I see what soured the gospel of John? That new nature that has been planted in us, that is on each one of us to produce fruit, we will be known by our fruit, but are you sure about your truth? With a lot of help from the GreaseSpoter’s, I sure ripped the gospel of John up, like it has never been ripped on before, seeking for that truth, but seeking for it, before the GreaseSpot Cafe? What right have I to rip on the gospel of John, I don’t, I’m just a line cook, but I ripped on the gospel of John in the Cafe, that is the honest thing to do? I sure learned a lot, but I can’t stand before the Cafe, and be honest about my seeking for truth, with the teachings of all the different meaning of Logos? If my reasonings are wrong, I will honestly learn at the Cafe, because I honestly sought for truth, before the Cafe? No truth in Logos, the Tanakh would not stand for it, like I know anything about the Tanakh, I don’t; but someone in the Cafe might know, could gets some good learning going on, GreaseSpot learning, that is the only honest thing to do?
  8. I kinda find it funny, why are their not any Greek god or gods mention in the old testament, like the Canaan god and their other gods? Did Yahweh put ceder in the temple Solomon built, to mock the Greek god, or the Canaan god? I wonder if Plato wrote about the Ceders of Lebanon, or even wrote about what was going on in Canaan; how was Melchisedec involved with your logos, did Plato write about him too?
  9. Could the Greeks have been the fathers of the "Doctrine of Inevitability of Gradualism", with Alexander the greats one world view and all? The letters of Plato, it is a fact that their is a big difficulty trying to figure out, are all the letters that exist in ancient greek manuscripts that claim to be letters of the philosopher Plato, are they really by Plato? These same folk with this one world view, maybe they were involved in this Septuagint manuscript?
  10. How about the "Kavod", I don't think logos was in this Kavod? How special the Israelites were, how scarred some of the nations in that region were, seeing that Kavod? I'm sure that Kavod gave the greeks a fright, they jumped on their boats so fast, they didn't get a chance to be recorded in this storyline of the old testament? I would like to see these Doggie Philosophers who started this logos, stand in front of this Kavod with their Doggie ways, they will never enter into Yahweh's rest? Because of this logos, their are gay people running the Way, their Doggie ways, running the Way? The Doggies of the Way will never enter Yahweh's rest, the Day of Yahweh approaches, I wonder if this Kavod will be in Israel, when the ark comes into Israel, in the Day of Yahweh?
  11. The pushers of logos had a lot of nerve, putting logos in John 15:20? The beginning of verse 20, Remember the WORD that I spoke to you, That there is no servant, who is greater than his master. Those logos pushers, what do they think they are trying to accomplish using logos in this verse, that WORD should be words, or saying, or discourse, but not logos? What this man heard from his Father, Yeshua shared; you what the WORD of Yahweh, the Mosaic Law is still going on here in John 15:20? Their is a lot of this breaking the context of John going on with this logos, just put the storyline of John back into context, those pushers of logos don't stand a chance? Don't be in the logos Cult?
  12. John 15:15-19 This “ask my Father” in verse 16, look at how the storyline built up to this verse 16, it is about that fruit; no fruit, why ask? I guess we could put back the other three “ask the Father” before this one, but this ask the Father, that fruit is on the person, and only that person and the Father knows? But who knows, maybe those three asks need to be in their, just got to throw it out their, GreaseSpot learning? I no longer call you servants, because a servant knows not what his master does; but I have called you my friends, because, whatever I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you. It is not you that chose me, but I that have chosen you; and I have appointed you, that you also should go and yield fruit, and that your fruit should continue, so that whatever you may ask of my Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I instruct you, that you should love one another; and if the world hate you, know you, that it hated me before you; and if you were of the world, the world would love what is of it; but you are not of the world, for I have chosen you out of the world; for this cause, the world hates you.
  13. It is a fact, that Yahweh hid only one thing from everybody, the body, of which Yeshua is it's head? Where then is it recorded about logos, was it hid before the foundations of the earth, why then did logos not help out Yahweh, when Lucifer made his move in that garden, when the earth was in the first heaven? Too easy, Plato didn't know to much about this earth, when it was in the first heaven, logos has not a leg to stand on?
  14. Why didn't logos help out on the earth, while it was in the first heaven, when Lucifer made his move on Yahweh, their in that garden? Did Yahweh have to what for the greeks to write about logos, before logos could help out? Let's reason logos out, while the earth is in the first heaven?
  15. This John 15:1-14 is cool, I left out in verse 5-"and I in him"- just seems to bog down the storyline? I left out in verse 7-"Whatever you shall be pleased to ask, it will be given to you"-just seems their is something funny about all this asking? Just GreaseSpot learning?
  16. Here in John 15:1, they are walking to that garden, cool storyline here, lets reason our way to the garden? I am the true vine; and my Father is the cultivator. Every branch in me, which yields not fruit, he cuts off; and that which yields fruit, he prunes, that it may yield more fruit. You have already been pruned, on account of the discourse I have spoken to you. Remain with me and I with you. Just as a branch cannot give fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, even so, you cannot, unless you remain with me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He that remains with me, will bear abundant fruit; for without me, you can do nothing. Unless a man remains with me, he will be cast outside like a branch which is withered; and they gather it up, and cast it into the fire to be burned. But of you remain with me, and my instructions shall abide in you, in this the Father will be glorified, that you bear abundant fruit and be my disciples. Just as my Father has loved me, I also have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my instructions, you will abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s instructions and abide in his love. These things have I spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete. This is my instruction, that you love one another, as I have loved you. There is no greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do all that I instruct you.
  17. What was so new and revolutionary about monotheism taking hold in the land of Canaan? Seems the Woodrow Wilson thinking people back in them days, figured out how to start that phenomenon of Pseudepigraphy? Now Satan has to deal with what is taking hold in the land of Canaan, discredit what is going to be born in the land of Canaan; a man, or something in a form of a man?
  18. It seems that when the Messiah did come, their was a point of view planted in the Septuagint? Yeshua walking around, did the Gentiles really know what the second Adam was about, but they knew what they saw, because of the Septuagint? All this was done before the Messiah came, 1 John shows some of these points of views?
  19. It seems Satan likes these doggie philosophers of the nature things of this world, we have that going on today, if it feels good, do it; nations getting ready for this one world point of view coming up? It seems to me, that these doggie folks made their move on that translation of the tanakh, into greek, in order to prepare the next generation of doggie philosophers, for the coming Messiah at that time? The Messiah comes, but the doggie have it set up, "their is the spirit in the form of a man; their myth became real? In 1 John, John tells of people not believing that Yeshua was not completely in the flesh? It seems these doggies tried to make their myth real, by false writers, when the Messiah came, their in this text, and in that text, their is the spirit in the form of a man?
  20. Then one day the Messiah comes along, but this Messiah does not really line up with what the greek dudes put into their translation, this spirit in a form of a man, their myth became real, or did the phenomenon of "Pseudepigraphy" that is, writings under a false name, in order to make their myth real? Which is what seems to be taught today, a myth that became real? I will put my trust in the second Adam, no myth with the second Adam?
  21. Did Plato overcome the Myth with his reasonings. it seems we are looking back at Plato, with what we know now? It seems Plato out reasoned the Myth, maybe the myth dudes got mad at Plato's reasonings, could that be like the beginning of these false name writers? These Doggie Philosophers, did Plato somehow show that these Doggie people were immoral? Then came along Alexander the great, that opened a door, that tanakh was translated into greek. Maybe the translators of the tanakh into greek knew about a Messiah; but they worked into that translation a gnostic point of view, the spirit in the form of a man thing?
  22. I guess their is an arguent, it goes that in every society, there is a natural progression: a progression from Polytheism, unto Monolatry, which is really the worship of one god as supreme over other gods, so not denying the existence of the other gods, ascribing reality to them, but isolating one as a supreme god, and on to Monotheism, where essentially one believes only in the reality of one god. Could their have been a left point of view about Alexander, did't he make himself a god?
  23. Is it because of Alexander the great, the tanakh was in the reach of the greeks; could Alexander have had his eyes on that tanakh? Set up a network, one must speak greek inorder to get anywhere; hey, I speak greek, translate that tanakh into greek so we greek speaking people can read it? Everyone is speaking greek in them days, could Alexander have had a left point of view of Plato, or was their a left point of view towards Platos reasonings? Could Alexander have killed to birds with one stone, set up this network, then over time this left point of view of Alexanders one world would take hold, by working the tanakh and Plato over with their point of Alexanders one world view?
  24. Sunesis, Alexander the great set up one cool network across the known world in them days. Did people attack Plato before the Alexander thing, or after? Were these people into this nature of the world thing, before the old testament came along into the Greek history, were they working their views into Plato, before or after Alexander? Was their a left and right point of view back in Alexanders, and before his time in Greek history?
  25. Jbarrax you asked me a question early on this thread, I tried to answer, but not only gave an answer, but left room for me to grow. How can I grow Jbarrax, if I started this thread out in the world on other forums, I would expect to be attacked, because I'm attacking them? This is the GreaseSpot Cafe, not those world forums, so it from that stand point I can start this thread, and not attack anyone, because I know the Cafe roots, and have been through the Cafe roots. What is so cool about Sunesis, Sunesis will bounce the ball to me, and I will bounce the ball back, and we bounce the ball around; but if Sunesis stops bouncing the ball, I know Sunesis still has that ball, and that ball could come a bouncing my way. It seems the ball I bounced your way Jbarrax, I get to watch that ball bounce off the court, bummer, maybe I could have learned something from you? Getting rid of logos should not be a big deal, cults use logos, the GreaseSpot Cafe is where one goes to get away from cults, and their controlling ways, and controlling teachings. Their is more written about "Wisdom" in the old testament, then their is about logos? I have been learning that I was part of a cult, but why would I want to be part of another cult, like what this meaning of logos teaches?
