Thing about Creedence is many of their songs have such memorable lyrics. Every other line is memorable to me. Rode in on the greyhound I´ll be walkin´ out if i go -

Ditto. No bites here so, I'm guessing that this wasn't enough? Okay. How about mentioning the group then? CCR -

I admit. I was a little stunned after that one. "I came into town on a one-night stand Looks like my plans feel through" -
Ridin' down the highway, goin' to a show Stop in all the byways, playin' rock 'n' roll Gettin' robbed, gettin' stoned, gettin' beat up Broken boned, gettin' had, gettin' took I tell you folks it's harder than it looks

Gee's I saw this and now I can't believe I didn't catch that it was William Hurt. It is isn't it? -
I'm sorry about that. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population, common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, Serve yourself. World serves its own needs, Listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the Reverent in the right Right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright Light, feeling pretty psyched.

Yep. The album in came off of was "Every Picture Tells a Story" and inside as best as I can recall, it was 50+ years ago, was a storybook whether all on a separate page or several pages each song highlighted with artwork about them. Goodbye Yellow Book Road has a similar jacket. You are up George. -

I figured that if I left only the first line it wouldn't be enough and I figured the second line would be a dead giveaway. I guess I was wrong. I'm trying to remember the album that this song came from. I think it had a page for every song on the album inside the jacket. Or something like that. -

How about another then. That was Subterranean Homesick Blues by Robert Zimmerman. Or steal my daddy's cue and make a living out of playing pool Or find myself a rock and roll band that needs a helpin' hand -

*hint It's one of those. The title is something totally different that what's in the song, just like George's last clue. Maybe this will help.. It is on one of ~Bob Dylan's~ early 60's albums, "Bringing It All Back Home" perhaps, my personal favorite. -

You just don't quite have it yet. I know you know it WordWolf so, I will accept just one correct word from the title. It has three. -

Two more for the price of one. Same song (Maybe this is in the wrong thread?) "Johnny's in the basement mixing up the medicine" You better duck down the alley way Lookin' for a new friend The man in the coon-skin cap In the big pen Wants eleven dollar bills You only got ten Get sick, get well Hang around a ink well Ring bell, hard to tell If anything is goin' to sell
