  1. So each actress acted in the 2000's. George has it right. That is the obvious thing. Oscar winners. But that's not the answer to the trivia.
  2. I'm sure you've heard of it George. I have a mansion but forget the price Ain't never been there, they tell me its nice I live in hotels, tear out the walls I have accountants pay for it all My Maseratti does one-eighty-five I lost my license, now I don't drive I have a limo, ride in the back I lock the doors in case I'm attacked I'm making records, my fans they can't wait They write me letters, tell me I'm great So I got me an office, gold records on the wall Just leave a message, maybe I'll call
  3. I figured someone would have figured this out by now. No one's got this yet?
  4. For the record my intention was to make this a challenging thread. And so George, you may not figure it out. I hope you do, but this is what I like about good trivia. You learn things, things you never knew. I've laid all the cards out that I'm going to. Don't get the wrong idea or anything. When I came across this bit of trivia I thought, "Wow, that's fascinating stuff"! Good luck.
  5. No that isn't it, but now you're getting somewhere George. That's the obvious thing. After some editing, I'm hoping this is easier to understand what I'm asking for. Let me add this, hope you and yours George, are having a safe and Happy New Year.
  6. Wedding Bell Blues Marilyn McCoo or ~The Fifth Dimension~ It's right. I have a mansion forget the price Ain't never been there they tell me it's nice I live in hotels tear out the walls I have accountants pay for it all
  7. I may need to steer you a little bit in the right direction George. No. These actresses do not have anything to do with sharing a character on screen with each other. Individually they all share something each on their own. A hint then. Each of the actresses did these things in the same decade.
  8. Switching it up now a little. Take a look at this list of movie actresses. There should be something that should become rather obvious to draw from them. However, this is not the trivia that or, at least not the part, of the trivia that I'm looking for. What do all of these actresses share in common? Rachael Weisz Marcia Gay Harden Jennifer Connelly Jennifer Hudson Catherine Zeta-Jones Tilda Swinton Mo'Nique
  9. Well, since George has an idea about who this is and I haven't, and he might have it right but he just didn't get the first name right I will throw out Pete Best.
  10. I'm getting the sense that this is a subliminal message by WordWolf of some sort. Or, maybe because he ended his post with an exclamation point he like is bewildered. That looks French so google tells me that, "La Marseillaise" is the National anthem of France. Not knowing any French, I dug a little deeper and tried to decipher whether somewhere in the song are the lyrics ("There's nothing you can do that can't be done") in my post are also in those lyrics, and after translating "La Marseillaise" to English I couldn't find any similarities. Now had they been the National anthem to say England, or even to the world, or for any nation, then, that would have made sense. So I guess what I'm saying is No.
  11. "Behind Blue Eyes" "There's nothing you can do that can't be done"
  12. You must have a touch screen computer like I do because tapping the keys makes a sound. Anyway WordWolf, I figured that's what you were hinting at. I watched "The Graduate" on TV last night.
  13. I think my song is probably too obscure and it probably didn't really get a lot of play on the radio. Therefore, I'm ditching this for another one. Truckin' by ~Bread~ "If I should call you up, invest a dime And you say you belong to me and ease my mind Imagine how the world could be, so very fine" "I can't see me loving nobody But you for all my life When you're with me, baby The skies will be blue for all my life"
  14. What am I missing here? I should have put a comma after Hello darkness, but I don't think that is what's missing?
  15. I don't know anything about those things regarding the joining and being fired from "Rory Storm and the Hurricanes' but I think Richard Starkey (Ringo Starr) used to play for them before he joined The Beatles.
