  1. Got one. I hear the drums echoing tonight But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation She's coming in 12: 30 flight The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation I stopped an old man along the way Hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies
  2. I think you might want to date stamp movies George that have been remade, just so there is a distinction. I've seen Sabrina, it's one of my wife's favorites but I can't place Paul Giamatti in it. It must have been a small part. I may or may not have gotten it with the Sideways clue, but I didn't see this until just now.
  3. Interesting choices. Nothing pops out yet. Isn't the actor a lesser known one?
  4. *wild swing* Christian Bale? Only because he played Professor Van Helsing twice. I'm kidding. I noticed two entrees for Van Helsing.
  5. I can remember hearing Radar Love back in the 70's three, four times a day.
  6. Love Potion #9 "Kids are different today," I hear every mother say Mother needs something today to calm her down"
  7. Sorry but no. This wasn't supposed to be a tough one. I was hoping WordWolf would have another guess. This movie is, In Harm's Way
  8. Last clue, then I open it up after I reveal to a free post. A quote by John Paul Jones: "I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast, for I intend to go, [movie title]" Considered a box-office failure and not a John Wayne classic, the film has a cult following now, and it is considered by some as one of John Wayne's best performances because the role stripped him of his "tough guy persona" and he played a vulnerable and "real human being".
  9. It's been long enough...~The Cars~ You're All I've Got Tonight FREE POST
  10. Closer to Home I like that guitar riff near the end of it. Really cool.
  11. Almost. For a minute I thought you had it George. It has three words in the title too.
  12. i don't care if you hurt me some more i don't care if you even the score you can knock me and i don't care you can mock me and i don't care you can rock me just about anywhere i don't care if you use me again i don't care if you abuse me again you can make me i don't care you can bump me i don't care you can love me just about anywhere it's alright
  13. I have already gone through the entire cast and I'm fine with giving more hints, provided they will help. Maybe by giving the name of the director it would help? Otto Preminger.
  14. So you want me to show my cards George, it's pretty much just you and I at this point with no other present players? This isn't Movie-Mash up is it?
  15. And also, John Wayne's last picture filmed in black and white. * I pulled that "epic World War 2" thing from IMDB, but clearly that is not true. Schindler's List was in black and white. But it was John's last black and white picture. Anyway, any guesses yet? If you know your early American history George, inspiration for the title of this movie came from a quote by the American Revolutionary Naval Commander John Paul Jones.
  16. Alright. That blows me away. It's Hitchcock though, we being of similar age it just seems like most of us have seen these classic movies is all. Carry on.
  17. Lets give you some help George. John Wayne was diagnosed with cancer shorter after filming was completed. The film was the last epic World War 2 filmed in black and white.
