  1. "Well, we found a little place that really didn't look half bad I had a whiskey on the rocks and changed half a dollar for the jukebox Well, I put a quarter right into that can But all they played was music hall, man Come on, baby, baby, let's get out of here right away" "Well, we're having a ball just 'a bopping on the big dance floor Well, there's a real square cat, he looks a 1974 Well, yeah, he looked at me once, he looked at me twice Looked at me again and there's gonna be fight"

  3. I think I'm going to pull the reins back on this one. It was a psychedelic sounding song by ~Status Quo~ called "Pictures of Matchstick Men and You". I remember posting this a few months ago. It doesn't have enough lyrics to make it a worthy clue. Let's do another one.
  4. When I look up to the sky I see your eyes a funny kind of yellow I rush home to bed I soak my head I see your face underneath my pillow I wake next morning, tired, still yawning See your face come peeping through my window Windows echo your reflection When I look in their direction now When will this haunting stop? Your face it just won't leave me alone
  5. I'm going. "When I look up to the sky I see your eyes a funny kind of yellow I rush home to bed I soak my head I see your face underneath my pillow"
  6. "Ricky Don't Loose That Number" ~Steely Dan~
  7. I only saw The Honeymooners with a picture of an older woman, like 90 something but I didn't see her name. I was just about to post The Honeymooners as you suggested WordWolf when I saw you put it up first. That has to be it. Time frame for an 98 yr. old actress fits.
  8. So I'm looking online for nothing special when I notice on MSN where the headline reads, "The Last Living cast member of "_____________________" and there it is stuck in front of my face. I didn't open it but the timeline of the television series could fit the 98 yr. old actress. Plus I think her name is Joyce. So by default I will sit the rest of this one out.
  9. I'm not sure if she is that old, I'm thinking not, but how about Joan Collins, Dynasty?
  10. I've never watched it and I only know that Richard Dreyfuss was it. Was Jack Warden in it?
  11. "We'd been living together for a million years Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah. But now it feels so strange out of the atmospheres. Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah"
  12. I hear what you're saying George, but there are a lot of lyrics with second verses with the same memorable lines as the first or second line in songs. Going forward I think any line that is memorable would be acceptable, wouldn't it? Example: "I want tell her that I love her a lot but I've got to get a belly full of wine" "Her majesty" ~The Beatles~. Next to last line. I may agree to disagree with you here, and personally, I like to leave a clue that is recognizable from any line largely because "first lines" will eventually run out again, like they did before, and plus, they are just so darn boring. Anyway, just some food for thought.
  13. Like I already mentioned in my post a few days ago, we can tend to go round and round and back and forth with this thread because of its ease and familiarity, so considering this song, I know it's right because I thought about using it last week therefore, I'm posting without redrock and blues confirmation. So when you know, and are very sure then, it's not always necessary to go get the go-ahead nod. Right GeorgeStGeorge..., alright then. "I know a cat named Way Out Willie"
  14. This reminds me of the "Who's on first, what's on second, and I don't know is on third" sketch.
  15. "Just Dropped in (To see what condition my condition was in)"
  16. It's an odd question I would agree. What was his dad's legal name? Probably not to many people on the planet know that. But most people I think do know what caused Red Foxx's death. That's pretty common knowledge.
  17. I don't know know if any clarification was needed but thank you WordWolf, unless the mention that I made made you think he had something right? It's just a song with something about an airplane in it. No other intention than that was made. The song redrock and blues posted is wrong, and of course it's still anybody's turn.
  18. But the subtle remark about "Take It Easy" was a genuine answer I hope? Otherwise, I would still keep the round.
  19. The right airplane but the wrong pilot flying it on this one. Long way around for saying no.
