  1. In The Fifth Element in the opening scene, the priest discovers hieroglyphics telling about a "Fifth Element" but he can't see so he yells at "Aziz LIGHT" Willis tells his cat to not watch TV all day it will rot her brain and when it comes time to save the world he only has a single match to light one of the four stones, and a breeze nearly blows out the match. Leeloo explains how to open the stones "wind blows, fire burns, water falls"..... "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore"
  2. Sometimes I think life is just a rodeo The trick is to ride and make it to the bell But there is a place, sweet as you will ever know In music and love, and things you never tell You see it in their face, secrets on the telephone And time out of time, for you and no one else If I had my way, I'd shuffle off to Buffalo Sit by the lake, and watch the world go by Ladies in the sun, listenin' to the radio Like flowers on the sand, the rainbow in my mind
  3. Stranger Than Fiction Maggie Gyllenhaul The Dark Knight
  4. Nope. It's a classic good vs. evil and must save the world movie. It's not Mission Impossible but the protagonist is on a mission to save the world, just hope that his match doesn't go out.

  6. I do know it after all. Young Turks ~Rod Stewart~
  7. I think this is taking wayahayah toohoohoo longongong. Super-easy
  8. Actually, now that I went back a few posts, it looks like I posted a tune that has not yet been solved. New song, not an elusive one. Well, have you seen that girl in the corner? I'd like to take her out of her chains 'Cause if I have my way with you, baby I would be changin' your life today Let's forget it and just keep going now. I don't have a clue what the tune is WordWolf.
  9. Cats in the Cradle "Put a candle in the window But I feel I've got to move"
  10. Okay, here's then something a little different but still applies I think. I'm going give a few punch lines from a movie and they should be very easy to tell which movie its from. "Aziz! Light" "Don't watch that stuff all day sweetie. It'll rot your brain" "Negative, I am a meat-pop-cycle" "Wind blows....Fire burns......Water falls"
  11. Here's my Ultimate Band I've so named ~Loaded in the Sky~". Clearly, my personal preference in music will play a big part in my selection of artists. When it all started for me I suppose was sitting in front of the television and I remember watching Ed Sullivan and ~The Beatles~..... and that must have played a big part in my taking to English bands from the British Invasion more than I did any early 60's American bands. But I really didn't begin to listen to music much, until I starting listening to Simon & Garfunkle in high school. I thought I would choose to place an artist in the first group of artists who were from the early 50's or 60's but not later than 1964, and then take my second choice from artists who played after that for my second pick. For me there was no question who I would pick for vocalist, bassist or drummer. Well maybe I went back and forth with Roy Orbison a couple of times for a vocalist. Musicians by category Vocalist John Lennon Robert Plant Honorable Mention Roy Orbison Guitar Chuck Berry Angus Young Honorable Mention Mike Campbelll Bassist John Entwistle, John Paul Jones Drums Keith Moon John Bonham Pianist Little Richard Elton John Keyboards Richard Wright Keith Emerson Harmonica Paul Butterfield Alan Wilson Flautist Ian Anderson Ray Thomas
  12. It was a reference made from WordWolf's getting the Rick James song correct. So, "you got it" meant correct WordWolf, and since we were also discussing the clue before that, a Traveling Wilbury's song "Dirty World" I just through it in there I suppose, that "You Got It" also a Roy Orbison song too, which it was, even though other members of the Wilbury's co wrote it but I don't think it was ever released from what I can tell as a Traveling Wilbury's song as WordWord recently posted, but only as a single released posthumously and also on Roy Orbison's 1989 album "Mystery Girl".
  13. LAST I LOOKED THIS IS THE SONGS REMEMBERED FROM JUST ONE LINE THREAD. I AM AFRAID YOU ARE MAKING A WRONG ASSUMPTION WORDWOLF AND GEORGE. You got it, WordWolf, Super Freak is correct. You're UP. I'm pretty sure this is the right thread, I don't have Alzheimer's.
  14. Yep, that's it. Nice, I just noticed my typing error and I see I forgot the word 'know' as in "do you know" in the quote. Glad that it didn't slow you down any WordWolf. So many memorable (easy) lines from Pulp Fiction. "Um, that's a tasty burger" or "What ain't no country I ever heard of. Do they speak English in What"?. on and on.
  15. Sorry WordWolf, I didn't think anyone knew the song or even the band. Wish I would have waited.
  16. "Do you what they call a Quarter-Pounder with cheese in France"?
  17. Not a very familiar song to someone who may not be a fan of their music. So moving on then the clue I was using is the lead singer from ~ELO~ Electric Light Orchestra, Jeff Lynne, also played in the band along side George Harrison, Tom Earl Petty, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison, otherwise known as ~The Traveling Wilbury's~. The song was Dirty World. New song, not an elusive one. Well, have you seen that girl in the corner? I'd like to take her out of her chains 'Cause if I have my way with you, baby I would be changin' your life today
  18. WordWolf I just wanted to pop in to say I've almost put all my band together. I too am still considering another vocalist.
  19. This puts WordWolf out for the round, he's never heard of Johnny Rivers or "Secret Agent Man", anyway, according to him. But now I'm up. "She's a very kinky girl, the kind you don't take home to mother"
