I watched the movie last night so I went back in and made a change to these posts so I could give you the actual line from the movie. Hope that this makes it easier to guess this movie from just one line! Go for it!

I see George. However Forrest Whitaker is not the lead actor. But I see your point. I'm going to throw out one more clue and it should be a shoe in, however, it may just be that no one has heard of this movie before. My taste in movies are not always those that are the most popular. I am trying to make choices for movies somewhat challenging for everyone and not too difficult which would take all the fun out of it for this thread. One last clue then, Keanu Reeves is the rogue cop. No goggling right.

He soon discovers the corruption that is taking place within the LAPD, and in his own detective squad. When he kills 2 undercover cops who are the ones responsible for his partners murder he uncovers an even bigger drug ring within the LAPD, and his partners try to set him up because he knows to much. Then Our Rogue Cop goes about putting away everyone of his fellow detectives until he gets to the captain who he has to kill too.

"Carl, What cha doing holding that hammer". Carl replies, "I don't know I just a woke up a holding it".

:) The essence of what God our creator is- is- love, light, spirit. He is a lover of all that he created. He is the purest of all, no blemishes, He is a spiritual being. Not flesh and blood. Who God is- is- God is a Father. He is The Father of our spiritual family. His long suffering heart has been calling us out since before the beginning to come to him, to have a spiritual relationship with him as sons and daughters, his children.

A little more plot then. :unsure: When the rogue cop's EX-partner is brutally gunned down in front of him narrowly escaping himself, he goes (the rouge cop) after the killers. One by one he eliminates everyone suspected until he uncovers that it isn't the killers of his EX-partner that he's looking for, its those who hired them.

I'm going to give up the answer then. It's been 4 days. Scent Of A Woman. Al Pacino won best actor for his performance as the blind Col. Frank Slade. I thought that this was going to be an easy one for you guys. Guess no one's a fan of this movie.

Here's one for you. A message goes to the Enterprise for Capt. Kirk from a minors planet for help to find a killer. Spock and Kirk transport down to start an investigation to find the killer. They find a lot of broken silicon nodules all over the floors of the mine. Kirk beams down a search party to join him. They split up and search different directions in the mine. "Don't wait Captain,shoot it now"! "It doesn't seem to be doing anything". "I'll be right there." Later Dr. McCoy beams down. "By golly Jim, I'm beginning to think I can cure a rainy day."

Just clarify for me if anyone cares to. This is a thread remembering flicks from just one line. Correct? So for example if I uses " I'll have what she's having", or "You had me at hello", you should know what flick that is. Right. If this is the case then I'm surprised that this one has not been guessed. At some point are we allowed to give the flick up. If we find it's just too easy not to be guessed?
