A Day In The LIfe
Human without the bean replied to Human without the bean's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
Well George I prefer the more up tempo stuff myself. Sorry you don't feel like participating. Could be fun. I looked up Rolling Stone mags top ten list (that's all they revealed for now) and I found them to be the most predictable Beatles songs. Something, Come Together. Let it be, Hey Jude. Can't say that I actually have any songs of the beatles that I don't like.. :( Well you did say soulsearcher that you love them all. To each is own. You don't have to like their songs. This is just a poll. You don't have to chose if you don't want. -

A beautiful cover. A little slow though, but the man was close to 70. -

It's just a list. Just for you Maddy I added Nowhere Man. Peace -
Just for fun wondered what you thought of the Rolling Stone top 100 Beatles songs of all time? I only heard that they chose #1 as A Day In The Life. I haven't seen the list. Why don't we make one ourselves and then compare it with their's? What song do you find is the best Beatles song of all time? Mine is Get Back! If you want to vote you have to pick one song from each part of the list.

Ghost busters? -
I want to keep it simple. Sam Rockwell is a B actor who manages to still land movie roles with big time actors such as Nicolas Cage, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Robert De Niro. I'll give a hint! How nice is that. He was in a movie along with Robert Downey Jr this year.

Any consolation to you George I've heard The Wall way too many times. But, still it is one of the most, if not the most identifiable song in the classic rock era. -
May I ask a question? Where are you going with this Purple Days? How is a different song done from 3 other artists get us any closer to this song? I never knew so much about a song before that I didn't know?

Are you for real George? I thought everybody knew that song. But no disrespect. Maybe classic rock is not what your into. That's The Wall (part 2) Pink Floyd. And Instant Karma is not a beatles song. It's solo. John Lennon -

Jbarrax, your free to post where ever in a movie you like. I think it just makes is too tough to remember lines when you take bits and pieces from a movie and try to have someone put them together. The idea behind this thread is not to try to stump the panel, although you don't try to make it obvious here either.

I'll try another line from the song Listen to the tide slowing turning Wash your heartaches away Were part of the fire that is burning And from the ashes we can build another day -
