  1. Jbarrax a bit of a short clue isn't it? Thought we were trying to make it easy to recognize the line and from what movie it came from. No way to recognize it if the lines are that short. Of course if I slept, ate and drank this movie 24/ 7/ 365 then I might. But chances are not likely. See my point? Note: In some cases a very popular line may be short. But only if its really recognizable like "Frankly dear I don't give a damn". Hooptie Hoo. Which emoticon to use? I like this one.
  2. Really didn't know that. Thanks and your right George. C&PD. That was very good too. I like that exchange in the movie where it leads to a great line from Harrison Ford Sorry Mr. President but I don't dance.
  3. Amazing theirs some kind of user friendly grammar corrector taking any profane word and changing it to a nicer word here isn't there! The quote above before said "when a time your own foot is on the line", but now it says foot.   What or Who is the OP specialist?
  4. Die Hard Over 20 years old and Die Hard stills delivers the action with it's intense theatrics. Bruce Willis break out role as the New York cop John McClaine shot him to the top of hollywoods' who's who list. A great plot along with a great cast made for an incredible movie.
  5. Great song. I know you're out there somewhere. If your down and confused And you don't remember who your talking to Concentration slips away Cause you're baby is so far away
  6. That's OK I'll take it. You've got yourself a chip in the big game now. You're going to tuck that away. You are going to save that for a time when you're own foot is on the line. And then you're going to pull it out. And then I'm going to cash it in for you. Alright?
  7. No your right. Trading Places Technically you guessed it I guess so go for it Jbarrax. Give it a shot.
  8. Really we had Sometimes A Great Notion just a few weeks ago huh.
  9. Bump. I'll keep it going! Sarah Silverman There's Something About Mary Matt Dillon
  10. When they brought you in and booked you, you was crying like a *****. - Yeah. The cops threw tear gas in my face. I still walked in like a man, so get outta my face. You beating up a man, putting him in hospital. How come I don't see marks on you? - Yeah. Cos I'm a karate man, all right! Karate men bruise on the inside. They don't show their weaknesses.
  11. not my turn but yeah, speaking for Jabbax. That's it.

  13. My first thought was Lawrence Of Arabia. Is that it?
  14. Just fine then George, I'm sure we'll get back to Wonder Boys at some point. Along Came Polly Jack Black School Of Rock

  16. Here's the post I was referring to. Hope this helps someone.
  17. I hear you George. Usually I don't wait more than a few days. I like to keep it rolling, keep the game fresh.
  18. I was looking over your profile and noticed that you became a member June 12, and then noticed that Steve joined June 11. Do you two know each other?

  19. For anyone here trying to come up with what movie Wonder Boys is I used it about a month or two ago, you could search and find an actor. I'm just wondering why this thread has stopped all of a sudden?
  20. Yes,WW that would be a line that most fans of Pulp Fiction would immediately know. Now, not everyone on the boards will identify W/ every clue that shows up here in this particular thread. Except for this thread I would say that in the other movie and music categories when it comes to knowing where it came from I may only be familiar about 50% of the time. In my opinion, Pulp Fiction, though not culturally accepted in many circles broke down a lot of barriers and because it deals with social taboos, and social stereotyping, has had a huge impact on my several generations. (Let's just say I'm old, my generation) Thanks for trying to keep the masses familiar with how these threads work. You even said yourself that you thought the line might be from Pulp Fiction. Like it or not the movie is popular enough to meet the criteria to play in this thread. Where else but from Pulp Fiction could you hear the line< on second thought I'll save that for another time.
  21. I'll just say I was a lot surprised no one recognized this. 10 days on the throne is too long anyway. Here it is! Pulp Fiction sorry at the end of the video you'll hear some crude language. Moth47 F$*# Bruce Willis stayed on top of hollywood's mega stars list and John Trovolta resuscitated his career after this movie came out. FREE POST
