  1. Sorry Trefor but we don't know. It was either martial arts or elitist team type movie if I recall it. Right? Can you throw a poor dog a bone? :o We need a kickstart! Hurry though I might have to Google it.
  2. That's a bummer to hear Paw. Rather enjoy coming home at night and getting on line to chat with those at the cafe. But gotta do what you gotta do. Thanks for letting me be apart of your labor of love.
  3. Could It Be I'm falling in Love ~The Spinners~ Here's another. It should be easy for those familiar with the song. I dig snow and rain and the bright sunshine
  4. I could of used Kevin Spacey but I didn't. I wanted to make it challenging for you.
  5. Oh yeah. Jingle All The Way. Knew it was a Christmas movie. Danny DeVito LA Confidential Guy Pierce
  6. If you don't mind soul searcher I'm taking the liberty of putting up another post since we seem to be stuck here now for a week. Darling you’ll always be The only for me Heaven made you specially
  7. The Graduate This is a movie that never gets old. With the Simon and Garfunkle soundtrack rolling along to keep up with the witty writing and the social satire of the 60's. Dustin Hoffman puts us in a hypnotic trance with his acting while trying to figure out what to do with his life and how to get the girl.
  8. Sorry. Obviously nobody has any idea! Soul Searcher how about another clue.
  9. I can't come up with the movie that Sinbad did? Is it something like The ????? Elf somethun?
  10. I don't know what flicks it from but whatever it is its got great dialog. :)
  11. Very good. You got it! This is a good thread but George is right it's tough to come up with the twisted plot.
  12. You know I looked at my clue I posted to this thread and I thought if "I didn't know" what movie I got this from, there was no way that I could begin to make a guess from that encryption. So, I thought I'd give it another go. Man takes an epic journey from the dawn of civilization. Along the way Man takes giant steps with technology and advances beyond all he can see and know. Man is a mouse being played in the maze we call life. That's better. Give that a shot.
  13. After Kid Sober revived this thread its almost become dead, but, I've been thinking about Gregory Peck (real name Eldred) and I thought of To Kill A Mockingbird. Classic movie with heart, and perseverance in the your face kind of stuff. Eldred won the oscar for his performance as the lawyer Atticus Finch. I would say that it has stood the test of time.
  14. I love Charles Grodin. He's very funny. Robert Deniro is excellent too.
  15. Alright. I don't know if this will help but here is another line that goes with one of the first lines. Now listen, you asphole. I've been working on this Serrano thing for about six years; Mardukas is my shot. I'm gonna bring him into federal court. And I don't want some third-rate rent-a-thug who couldn't cut it as a cop in Chicago bringing him back to LA on some .... local charge. Do I make myself understood? Can I ask you something? These sunglasses: they're really nice. Are they like government issue, or do you guys all go to the same store together?
  16. Yes they are! This is a facebook link about them. http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Way-International-the-cult/133927986649099?ref=sgm
  17. I think I have one. Man took a trip on the civilization ride. With each ride Man's on, he discovers technological advancements beyond anything that anyone else before him has realized. When the ride that Man is on ends, he finds that the ride was predestined to fail.
  18. No bowtwi. This is not that kind of movie. Here's a couple more. If not one gets it... say, by tomorrow, I'm going to pull it and save it for later when someone whose seen it will guess it. Is this moron number one? Put moron number two on the phone. How much is here? Neighborhood of three hundred thousand dollars. That's a very respectable neighborhood.
  19. Nope George. Thats not it. Late 80's. Here's a clue: if your a fan of Robert Deniro you should have seen this show.
  20. Welcome So_crates. Those old WM chiche's are really out there aren't they. Kick your feet up and enjoy your stay!
