  1. Here's the post I was referring to. Hope this helps someone.
  2. I hear you George. Usually I don't wait more than a few days. I like to keep it rolling, keep the game fresh.
  3. I was looking over your profile and noticed that you became a member June 12, and then noticed that Steve joined June 11. Do you two know each other?

  4. For anyone here trying to come up with what movie Wonder Boys is I used it about a month or two ago, you could search and find an actor. I'm just wondering why this thread has stopped all of a sudden?
  5. Yes,WW that would be a line that most fans of Pulp Fiction would immediately know. Now, not everyone on the boards will identify W/ every clue that shows up here in this particular thread. Except for this thread I would say that in the other movie and music categories when it comes to knowing where it came from I may only be familiar about 50% of the time. In my opinion, Pulp Fiction, though not culturally accepted in many circles broke down a lot of barriers and because it deals with social taboos, and social stereotyping, has had a huge impact on my several generations. (Let's just say I'm old, my generation) Thanks for trying to keep the masses familiar with how these threads work. You even said yourself that you thought the line might be from Pulp Fiction. Like it or not the movie is popular enough to meet the criteria to play in this thread. Where else but from Pulp Fiction could you hear the line< on second thought I'll save that for another time.
  6. I'll just say I was a lot surprised no one recognized this. 10 days on the throne is too long anyway. Here it is! Pulp Fiction sorry at the end of the video you'll hear some crude language. Moth47 F$*# Bruce Willis stayed on top of hollywood's mega stars list and John Trovolta resuscitated his career after this movie came out. FREE POST
  7. OK George. All right, let's say you're telling the truth and this is all a dream. I could pull this trigger and it won't matter. It won't make the slightest difference to me Doug, but the consequences to you will be devastating. In your mind, I'll be dead, and with no one to guide you out, you'll be stuck here in permanent psychosis. The walls of reality will come crashing down around you. One minute, you're the savior of the rebel cause; next thing you know, you'll be Cohaagen's bosom buddy. You'll even have fantasies about alien civilizations as you requested; but in the end, back on Earth, you'll be lobotomized! So get a grip on yourself, Doug, and put down that gun!
  8. Yep, that's happened to me several times in the last couple of weeks. Go figure.
  9. I've been unable to use the boards last couple of days. Wasn't facing to the west I guess. Good to be back. I figured for sure somebody would know this line from a movie that really jump-started one actor's career and cemented another's A-List status with the line > "That's how your gonna beat em' Butch". Then again, I may just be content to stay here and bask in the glory of no one knowing for a while? :B)
  10. I don't even know what the ad is about but this is funny.
  11. soul searcher must be away because I know if he wasn't he would know what movie it is on Flicks remembered from one line. It's your basic standard deduction. :P
  12. Geico commercials are funny sometimes. The one where Mary Lincoln is trying on a dress and askx Abe if the dress makes her butt look too big. Of course honest Abe answers " a little bit". Great commercial.
  13. To Hell And Back Audie Murphy kept trying to get enlisted but they kept denying him. They finally accepted him and he became the most celebrated war hero of WW11.
  14. [quote name=Human without the bean' That's how your gonna beat em Butch. They keep under estimating you!
  15. soul searcher I cannot name that tune. What is it?
  16. Turner & Hooch Craig T Nelson All The Right Moves
  17. Then there's Carl Childers AKA Slingblade. A simpleton really. Not much upstairs. A retard. His only interest was in biscuits and mustard. But inside Carl was a serial killer. When asked if he would ever kill again having been released from the nervous hospital, Carl's response was: "I reckon I got no reason to kill nobody". All he needed was a reason.
  18. Same here George. I know she's played in some movies in the 90's, maybe early 2000, but I have no clue as to what they may be!
  19. I guess nobody knows what this is. Its My Big Fat Greek Wedding. This next one is not a chick flick, not that there's anything wrong with a chick flick. That's how your gonna beat em Butch. They keep underestimating you!
  20. My son says it's Super Mario Brothers. Evidently he's a big fan.
  21. I'm not afraid to show my feminine side (can't believe I just said that) but here's a clue that should be helpful. It's a chick flick. Shouldn't we move these trivia threads to Exwayvision so we can continue to play them when this site closes down? What do you think George since this is your thread? You started it. I almost started a new topic last night but I couldn't decide into which forum they should go. Human
