  1. No, he was nominated. I had a mental block until I finally came up with this. It's because I've been thinking about something for this thread but instead I'm going to start a new thread that will be a different take on movies. Hope it's fun. By the way, I don't think Roddy McDowall ever received an acting Oscar. He may have gotten an Honorary Oscar but they don't count imo. And unless you happen to collect Roddy McDowall memorabilia or have a thing for him and his movies, career, etc. or are a walking Oscar thesaurus I would put this trivia at about 8 or 8.5 in terms of difficulty, ten being the highest.
  2. Yes. I probably gave it away with "The Hitcher" didn't I, made it too easy?
  3. Eight minutes later, and 39 hours. What cost actor Roddy McDowall a Best Supporting actor Oscar for his performance as Octavian in the 1963 Epic film "Cleopatra"?
  4. Yes, in the same state capital city that doesn't have a McDonald's, or a Burger King for that matter. Population around 7,500. Interesting note. Vermont has the most fast foods restaurants of any state in the U.S.. I should pack up and move there, it sounds like a nice place to live.
  5. Ouch, bad scene man, bad scene. Wanted Dead or Alive The Hitcher Blind Fury
  6. You're on the right track there George. Both those picks are two and three in terms of their population. But no, geographically, it's a much narrower state.
  7. Maybe you'll remember "Cecilia" from ~Simon & Garfunkel~ and they're album "Bridge Over Troubled Water". It did reach #1 on the top 100 for Cashbox in 1970. It did play on the radio. FREE POST
  8. Liberty Stands Still Linda Fiorentino Unforgettable
  9. What was the first U.S. state to designate Labor Day as a holiday? or. What is least populated capital city is the U.S.? I thought I had already posted last night? Apparently I forgot to hit submit reply.
  10. Wow, maybe you were around in the late 60's George like I was. More lyrics are "making love in the afternoon with [song title], up in my bedroom", making love,' I got up to wash my face when I come back to bed someone's taken my place".
  11. Mike McCann Dr. David Marrow Nels Coxman Peter Swan David Stewart
  12. "YOU HEAR ME TALKIN' HILLYBILLY BOY!!!!! I AIN'T THROUGH WITH YOU BY A DAMN SIGHT. I'M A GONNA GET MEDIEVAL ON YOU".
  13. "The Fifth Element" I have a feeling I just did this a little while back. The same result.
  14. Looking for an actor in a movie. John Ryder Nick Randall Nick Parker
  15. Oops. I got it confused with another thread (name the actor or role). Thanks George. I'll put something else up.
