  1. That would explain why it never made it into the show. Early scripts were written with a more temptuous gang of Cartrights in mind. Apparently, it was Loren Green who believed a land owner with so much land and so much power should be one who was revered and respected, not one who has a vigilante theme. Thus, the bravado bunch we see in the pilot were written out and the Cartrights as we know them came to be.
  2. Do you ever miss anything? Yes, that is Die Hard.
  3. You are correct sir. I tried looking up the bonanza theme song that Pa, Adam, and Hoss sang but I couldn't find it. Your up George.
  4. While Raf is away, we must play! Vintage movie. "Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs..."
  5. These boots are made for walking In the cool of the evening when everything is getting kind of groovy
  6. George pulls a rabbit out of his hat. Well done.
  7. No, not My 3 sons. Though, the father figure in this series did act in some movies, largely, the actors in it each stayed for the most part in telivision.
  8. Then, that pretty much leaves me clueless. Since I don't have an ear for country either and mostly like rock too
  9. I may lead some of you ascue with these clues. Not intended, I assure you This telivision series never aired it's theme song with lyrics, only the instrumental. The leading actors actually sang the song with lyrics for the pilot, but it never aired. Oddly enough, they were all good singers and recorded music during their careers. The character (of the Dad) in this series was voted by TV guide as the # 2 greatest Dad in telivision of all time.
  10. Sounds a little like country, perhaps a song from the late departed great George Jones.
  11. Happy birthday Roy. Have a blessed and joyful day. Hang in there Roy. Don't give up. You have a strong faith in God. He will protect you. Do fight the good fight. Praise the Lord. Love, Human
  12. .....and if the dog comsumed the butterfly, which is more likely to happen, then we have nothing. Is nothing a number?
  13. The same could be said of us today, now...... in this day and age. |----------------------------|----------------------------|----------------------------------|--------------------------------|-----------------------------|---------- ^^^ ^^^^ ^^^ ^^^^ ^^^^ ^^^ Let's look at existence like a time line. Existence is infinite. We exist. Have we lived before? Not physically. But most definitely, we existed in God's infinite wisdom. No one doubts that Jesus existed! Nor do we doubt that Jesus still exists. Jesus exists, we exist. If we die, we will exist again. Existence is infinite.
  14. I thought that this was english. What was that song Heart did , oh yeah, the dog and the butterfly. Let's say, the dog follows the butterfly around eating nectar from a flower and then, the dog eats the flower. By that definition are they equal or not, I'm wondering?
  15. Check out Charlize Theron! And Brandon Flowers!
  16. But then, there is this beautiful song.
  17. A little late. Numbers are infinite. You know, like Buzz Lightyear would say," to infinity and beyond".
  18. Yes. it would, but we did. In God's foreknowledge. Called before [before there wasn't anything but God] the foundations of the world.
  19. Just possibly, one of the most beautiful songs ever written!
