I don't wake up til noon, Raf, sorry. (yeah, in my dreams). I don't care who really goes, George was incorrect, you were right, but if your giving it to him that's fine with me. -
George all I know is it's going to be May soon.

I thought Julianna Margulies was the actress who played the wife, but I'm mistaken. She kind of looks like her. No one else in that movie would I recognize.

Vp's book claimed and made the argument that there were approximately 4 scriptures which when compared to hundreds of others made the case whether he claimed to be God or the son of God. I don't have access to the book anymore but I believe this was one of them. This is just another example of reading into scripture and erroneously making the case without an accurate account of the testimony of the bible. What are we really engaging here? Is it the existence of Christ, or the pre-existence of Christ? If He, Christ were God he would have said just that, and therefore there would not be any discussion about his pre-existence. God's plan involved the existence of a savior. 1John 1-3: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life: 2 For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life which was manifested to us; 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his son Jesus Christ. From the beginning God's plan was the existence of a savior. God proclaimed the existence of Christ without Christ having actually having existed. This is why I referred earlier to a child understanding these things. Because we've become clouded with the theories of and for the existence of Godman. Jesus wasn't God. God wasn't a man. A child understands this. (not that I'm calling you a child Naten00). We just need to look into the scriptures as a child for understanding.

I do wish we could chat longer, but I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye.. -
Yes. Robert Guillaume "Benson" is known mostly for acting roles he did in tv. Surprising to me is that he did not do that many movies. Soap was the show from which Benson spun off. Your up Wolfy.

Easy Movie Quotes
Human without the bean replied to GeorgeStGeorge's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
Well, rather than the standard more mundane lines that we are so familiar with, I choose to use some other lines many of us are more familiar with than others. Sometimes you and I are the only two players playing you know. I've probably seen Jerry MacQuire a few more times than most (I'm guessing, and maybe you haven't seen it as many times as me), I'd estimate I've seen it over 20 times, and, so, many other lines that may be unfamiliar to you might be more familiar to others as myself who have seen it many times... Some times movie lines take on a life of their own. I use movie lines all the time when I'm talking to friends or people I work with. "Obviously, I've had to much caffeine". < Jerry MacGuire line. Do you get my point? ( Not even sure why I making it). The purpose of this thread first and foremost is to have fun. "Were not in Kansas anymore", to me is not as fun as "I'm Melting, I'm Melting'. Hey, don't mind me, I'm just the piano player! Have a nice day! Only move I've ever heard the word shag before is Austin Powers, International Man Of Mystery. -
[quote name=Naten00' date='16 April 2013 - 09:09 AM' timestamp='1366128591' post='551710' So please read it and share it with others on other social media like facebook and twitter! I ask people read what I wrote and then discuss on this thread what they think on the certain topics that I am talking about in regards to the book Jesus Christ is Not God... Hey Naten00, welcome to the GSC. Thanks for posting. I read your blogs like you suggested and if I find valuable information for sharing with other I will share them on facebook and twitter. Pertaining to the book you are reading and blogging about, I never believed Jesus was God. It didn't take a book to reveal to me what I had already known before I ever heard of VP weirwille's book. To me, (you may believe differently than I do), put simply Jesus never existed but in the mind of God before he was made man. Any child trying to put the trinity of God together understands that God is God and has always been. Jesus was a man, and had a beginning, unlike God. You Said, "Knowing that προς is a word showing deep connection between two persons physically present", The word WITH, translated here, or pros, which weirwille tried to describe as together with, but distinctly independent of, still doesn't make apple to oranges and oranges to apples. Welcome again Naten00.

In lieu of the last song I'm posting it! Not that I'm into cocaine. I just like the song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3L4spg8vyo -
No. If it were WordWolf, then Sherman Helmsley would have won an Emmy for best actor. But it wasn't him or the right series. And true, so many comedy series of the time spun off and became new shows.
-
George, I believe your up here.

According to IMDB, this sitcom was the first tv series to reference the internet. It also holds the distinction of having the first African-American to receive an emmy for best actor in a comedy series, and to this day it is still the only time an African American has won that award. Late70's to mid 80's tv series. It was a spin off from another series.

Or, after three days we could try this one. That's how you become great, man....hang your balls out there! -
Yes. Helen Hunt starred with Paul Reiser who played a married couple in New York City. I liked it. I always go back to one scene that I flash back to where Helen Hunt walks from the bathroom to the living room where Paul Riser is sitting down and without a word holds a roll of toilet paper in one hand, and inserts the holder from her other hand in the roll of toilet paper and walks away. Apparently, men were too lazy to do this. Unfortunately, for both of them their $1,000,000 salaries only lasted for one year when the ratings dropped and the show was canceled.

Unless you were under the influence of it (THE SONG). -
Thanks for that WordWolf. I like putting a trivia spin on things. This show ran from 1992-1999.
