  1. Sometimes it's an easy fix Excie. Try going to sound settings. Often the mute is on. Turn it off. Sorry. After giving this a more thorough read, I think that your problem is tougher than the an easy fix that I gave you. Actually, this is a trip. I bought a surround sound card (I'm looking in the instructions right now) thinking it would fix my sound problem. I never got around to using it. IDK if you fixed your problem by now Excie, considering that this post is 5 months old. There is a CD rom with my kit. I would be happy to review for you and see if I can help. Let me know.
  2. I've got one. A band of friends, kidnap a hostage, elude the police, orbit the sky, escape, and return the hostage to his home.
  3. Well, you know this but, for the sake of something fun; Russell Crowe has played A preacher, A detective, A Captain on a ship, A heavy-weight boxer, A mathematician, A Cowboy, and A thief, just to name a few.
  4. Hey, I think George would even approve of this one. For a second I thought I was dead. But, when I heard all the noise, I knew they were cops. Only cops talk that way. If they'd been wiseguys, I wouldn't have heard a thing. I would've been dead.
  5. Oh yes, that's a fun song. You pulled out a gem George. I didn't know it was done by studio musicians, namely Reunion. Yeah, I don't know why I came here tonight I got the feeling that something ain't right I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair, And I'm wondering how I'll get down those stairs Clowns to left of me, jokers to the right,
  6. I'm not a big fan of the "greatest hits" by musicians but mrs. bean is. I found inside the sleeve of her album that the song is an autobiographical look of how TM&TP's band formed. I knew that of course, but did not know the name. Creeque Alley Pronounced /Krek/, I assume. Is this a grey area frowned upon (in the rules) or a blatant breech of conduct of which I must recuse myself? Seriously, I'm just trying to have fun.
  7. I gather from the clue that, it is set in the post industrial period. The ain't "heard thing" implying that a lot of elements of that period were capable of making sound. Pre-industrial period things weren't moving so fast. No cars, freeways, railroads, or jack hammers making all that noise. This helps me eliminate about 30% of cinematic history. Rough estimate. That is unless it's a war movie. War has an element of noise that is centuries old.
  8. I tried to use some trivia whereby it wouldn't be so obvious from guessing. It is Taxi. Some people are just too quick.
  9. Oh yeah, figured it out. Louis Armstrong wasn't it. And, I thought the TM&TP's title to this song was subliminal.
  10. Actually, it does ring a bell, it's just the bell doesn't have a ringer.
  11. What musician did that song George? ( I know that it's not required here) That's different than the Sam Cooke song "Wonderful World isn't it"? Maybe I should be asking WordWolf since he post it?
  12. This TV series aired for 5 seasons and some of its cast members are semi-iconic. The Producer and writers of the show left after the 3'rd season to create another TV series, Cheers. The group ~ R E M~ did a song entitled, Man On The Moon which was about one of the lead actor's in this series.
  13. That's got a line "No one's gettin fat cept Mama Cass". but darned if I know the name of it.
  14. Pulp Fiction That's just a guess. John Travolta with Samuel L Jackson riding in the car scene exchange conversation about what's it's like in europe when he JT explains the little differences between the US and Europe. One of those little differences in Holland was they put mayonnaise on french fries instead of ketchup.
  15. Dr. Who has been around quite a while. Anyway, that's my guess.
  16. One of The Beatles most underrated songs:
