  2. Go on and close the curtains 'Cause all we need is candlelight You and me, and a bottle of wine To hold you tonight (oh) Well we know I'm going away And how I wish - I wish it weren't so So take this wine and drink with me And let's delay our misery [quote name='WordWolf' On the off-chance someone new recognizes the current song, I'll wait a little before answering. This one I remember as much from the video as the radioplay. I'll link to that one once the answer is up, or I post it. Go ahead and post the link WordWolf, that's fine by me.
  3. Since were still on the subject of multiple movies with the same line, this is almost verbatim to the the lines used in the Ben Affleck's movie "The Town", minus the show you the stinking part badges part.
  4. Jane Lynch, (played a Chemist in a lab) The 40 year old virgin Seth Rogan
  5. I haven't seen this (That seems to be a theme here, whoever posts has never seen the movie) but I'm pretty sure this guy was in most, or all of them. He must be the pinball wizard. Alan Rickman Die Hard Bonnie Bedelia
  6. This is Bob Dylan guys. A great song. Dylan won an oscar (George is frowning about now) for this song from the movie Wonder Boys. "Things Have Changed" I would have put the song up but my flash player is bonkers. New song/tune. Go on and close the curtains 'Cause all we need is candlelight You and me, and a bottle of wine To hold you tonight (oh) Well we know I'm going away And how I wish - I wish it weren't so So take this wine and drink with me And let's delay our misery
  7. Anyway, WordWolf, thanks for helping me straighten that out. I do remember watching "The Thing from Another World" when I was a kid. Yes, I am too aware of the other films with the same story, but not with just the title "The Thing" prior to the 80's that Raf was referring to not. So...............I'm not really sure about this clue, even with the latest that Raf has dropped.
  8. I was a click away from posting this but I didn't think there was a movie called 'The Thing" prior to 1982.
  9. Melanie Griffith Pacific Heights Matthew Modine
  10. A worried man with a worried mind No one in front of me and nothing behind There's a woman on my lap and she's drinking champagne Got white skin, got assassin's eyes I'm looking up into the sapphire-tinted skies I'm well dressed, waiting on the last train This place ain't doing me any good I'm in the wrong town, I should be in Hollywood Just for a second there I thought I saw something move Gonna take dancing lessons do the jitterbug rag Ain't no shortcuts, gonna dress in drag Only a fool in here would think he's got anything to prove Lot of water under the bridge, Lot of other stuff too Don't get up gentlemen, I'm only passing through I've been walking forty miles of bad road If the Bible is right, the world will explode I've been trying to get as far away from myself as I can Some things are too hot to touch The human mind can only stand so much You can't win with a losing hand

  13. It's Rush I do recognize it. Not a big fan of theirs. IDK the name.
  14. "Young Frankenstein" That movie is a riot. I'll have what she's having!
  15. OK. I'll go. This tv show also only ran for a year. It had a slapstick theme song. (I bet that gave it away for you didn't it)? To this day, it still pops into my head. The show was pretty slapstick too. Two astronauts are transported back in time and run into a wacky couple playing a woman and her prehistoric mate. The latter part of the clue is actually part of the theme song to this tv series.
  16. OK.. "Sommersby" (a movie I recognized that had Richard Gere in it) is a movie in the reconstructive post civil war period and is about a presumed dead war veteran who returns home to his wife and family after 9 years and is a much different man that he was before the war. His wife insists that he isn't her husband because he acts so different, he was mean and abusive before but now he is sensitive and loving. Suspected of taking the identify of a fellow soldier who was killed in the war, Gere rekindles a romance with his wife (his buddy's wife), but when he is suspected of murdering somebody as Sommersby he must go on trial for his life, he must choose whether to admit that he's a deserter and a fraud or to choose to go the gallows as Sommersby. His loving wife tries to convince the jury that he is not Sommersby to save him: His wife is Jody Foster. The judge stars James Earl Jones. Bill Pullman is in a love triangle with Foster. I know someone remembers it now. And WordWolf you can now play. Jody Foster The Brave One Terrence Howard
  17. Wow. Raf knew what WordWolf knew but neither one was right. What's next?
