  1. That other duo band was ~Steelers Wheel~.
  2. I need to give this one away. I had hoped that someone would recognize this classic movie line. Kevin Spacey in "The Usual Suspects". Remember it? It's repeated twice. First, as the story progresses, and finally repeated again, when it's used as the last line of the movie. Sort of establishing it.
  3. Maybe some clues will jog the ol' memories. This was a very popular song in late 70's. It's on par with the likes of lets say, The Year Of The Cat by ~Al Stewart~ in terms of it's height in the day. ~Christopher Cross~ would be another guy whose music rivaled the airways and grew in popularity with his hits like Arthur's Theme and Ride Like The Wind. This artist had a couple of other well known hits, not to mention he was part of another popular duo band. But you know he'll always keep moving You know he's never gonna stop moving 'Cause he's rolling, he's the rolling stone And when you wake up, it's a new morning The sun is shining, it's a new morning And your going, your going home
  4. I 'm surprised WordWolf hasn't reminded me about the last time I used this one.
  5. Don't know about the new (unless your talking about Drew Carey) but it's the old Price is Right that Bob Barker would repeat that quote whenever the range finder game was played. Apparently, DC doesn't use the line whenever he plays the game. Yes then, that's right WW. BTW, thanks for checking in. I was about ready to post small talk with myself and then, wait to see if I would answer.
  6. It wasn't that wild of a shot after all. Yes, you got it with The Big Valley etc. Your go now.
  7. Congrats George. I find O Brother utterly harlarious. Not everyone will agree with me. Anyway. Your up.
  8. Either I've picked the hardest clues ever or something is up! Where's everyone at?
  9. Well, I'll be a sonofabitch. Delmar's been saved! Pete, don't be ignorant. Well that's it boys, I been redeemed! The preacher warshed away all my sins and transgressions. It's the straight-and-narrow from here on out and heaven everlasting's my reward! Delmar what the hell are you talking about? - We got bigger fish to fry Preacher said my sins are warshed away, including that Piggly Wiggly I knocked over in Yazoo! I thought you said you were innocent of those charges. Well I was lyin' - and I'm proud to say that that sin's been warshed away too! Neither God nor man's got nothin' on me now! Come on in, boys, the water's fine!
  10. This city desert makes you feel so cold It's got so many people, but it's got no soul And it's taken you so long To find out you were wrong When you thought it held everything Way down the street there's a light in his place He opens the door, he's got that look on his face And he asks you where you been And you tell him who you've seen And you talk about anything He's got this dream about buying some land He's gonna give up the booze and the one-night stands
  11. Red Dawn Lea Thompson Back to the Future (any of them)
  12. I had to be up at that there crossroads last midnight, to sell my soul to the devil. Well, ain't it a small world, spiritually speaking. Pete and Delmar just been baptized and saved. I guess I'm the only one that remains unaffiliated. What'd the devil give you for your soul, Tommy? Well, he taught me to play this here guitar real good. Oh son, for that you sold your everlasting soul? Well, I wasn't really usin' it.
  13. Again Raf, I only needed the first line. I guess we like some of the same movies. No Way Out
  14. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist!
  15. Let's try this one. A movie star saddles up and starts wearing the pants in the family after her husband dies and becomes the proud matriarch of her family. Ironically, her daughter's all having ambitions of becoming aspiring actresses, each, spirals into a hellish decline, and are led downward the path to insanity, suicide, and broken dreams all stemming from an addiction to prescription medication.
