  1. Apparently, a preacher named Jim Brown said that the theme song when heard in reverse played "satanic messages". When played backwards it would say "Someone sung this song for Satan", and the source is Satan" would be audible. The stars double was a dead on look a-like except for a spot on his forehead that was covered up with make up whenever he was used as a stand in. The title character [hence, also the name of the show] would only take cues from a guy who was once trained under American Cowboy and humorist Will Rogers. Our star played a skilled trouble maker and loved to play practical jokes while on the telephone. He once started trouble with a young Clint Eastwood.
  2. I don't know why, but I know the group is ~Shocking Blue~ Venus or I'm your Venus.
  3. Recently, I tried backing up files to speed things up and I used a blank CD to put them on The program tells me to "insert removable media" such a disc or a UBS port. I bought a UBS port that works with windows 7 which is my operating system but it didn't work for squat diddlely. Any suggestions?
  4. Clear and Present Danger Donald Moffat The Unbearable Lightness of Being
  5. No. This was a family show just not "that kind" of a family show. A regular situation comedy. Long after the show had ceased production but still being seen in syndication a fundamentalist religious group in Ohio claimed that the show's famous theme song was "satanic". I got this from the IMDB page.
  6. This TV show was one of only a handful of shows to start in syndication, and then be picked up by a major television network. George Burns paid $70,000 for the original pilot, a lot of money [I think] for the time. The shows credits listed the title character as being only played by "Himself". Whenever, "Himself" would get tired of shooting he would walk off the set. After all, he was the star of the show.
  7. That's true and that is it. Oh Gees. Now I get it. Very clever.
  8. Or, I could just go with..... "But I'm trying hard Ringo. I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd'.
  9. Well obviously, to me, A. is Cash Cab. Not sure of B. But C. is of course, the cash cow with Wayne Brady "Let's Make A Deal". I'll wait a little while but I may just go ahead and bore you guys in the next round with some trivia for the next clue.
  10. Only once? Yes, it was The Dovells. I was unfamiliar with "Bristol Stomp". I always liked the tune "You Can't Sit Down", it was kind of catchy. Go if you want. I probably will come up with something soon if no one else does.
  11. OK. I'll provide the link. I'll bet you remember it. And if anyone's got one go ahead. You Can't Sit Down
  12. Well good someone's playing. Raf you weren't born yet when this song came out. So I'm not surprised. Early 60's. I'll put down some more. 13. I'm playing for Raf. "See now I'm thinking, maybe it means you're the evil man and I'm the righteous man, and mister 9 mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous as# in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean, you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd, and it's the world that's evil and selfish. Yeah, I'd like that. But that ain't the truth. The truth is .......you're the weak and I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm trying hard Ringo. I trying real hard to be the shepherd.
  14. If someone doesn't know this maybe say something like,"I don't know it", and that way I know someone is at least playing.
