  2. This sci-fi action movie was based upon the Dark Horse comic book of the same name. The movie was spunoff into a sequel and a tv series, as well a comic book and a video game. There is a reboot for the sci-fi action film in development with the script writing now in process. Although not very well received by critics, (43% rotten tomatoes) it was a commercially successful film grossing over 100,000,000 world wide equivalent to many more millions by today's standards . It was the second film for the lead actor to gross over 100,000,000. A Schwarzenegger transplant of sorts he wasn't known by audiences so much for his acting skills as he was for his physique.
