  1. I was thinking about a variation of the Flicks From Just One Thread Line thread in order to pick it up because it seems to have run out it's course. And with good reason. In this game we name the character who made the quote from the movie. I may know most of the movies where those movie lines came, but I probably don't know all the character's who made them, which makes it more interesting. OK, I'll try the first one. "The point is, Ladies and Gentlemen, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right! Greed works"!
  2. I think I'll watch it now. I wasn't that interested until I saw the song list.
  3. That's quite a selection of songs George. I can't wait to see what it is!
  4. 100% sure here. Anna Scott, Notting Hill, Vivian Ward, Pretty Woman.
  5. hello hello, anyone else having logging issues? (not the forest kind) At times I become logged out.
  6. You can find a lot of Peter's work on pg. 29 of Name that Actor/Actress or role, anyway......
  7. I just watched her movie last night. Not her famous one, her Queen of Scots one.
  8. Apparently I wasn't logged in last night when I posted. Josh Lyman is the television character played by Bradley Whitford-IMDB in The West Wing.. Few others were J J Camden the character of rude business exec in Kate & Leopold.. Randy is a character in Scent of a Woman. At thanksgiving dinner he's the one who gets the Ranger Choke hold by Col. Slade... Jamey Collins and Thomas Fink were both characters who were lawyers..in Philadelphia and The Client respectively... If anyone has got one go ahead. If not, I'll go again.
  9. OK. I'll give this away, but only after Raf chimes in again with an answer (if he has one?). Until then, here's a few more. Hint: He's probably best known to others for his television work than he is for his movie stuff. He was in a prime time show for several years. I know of him for his work in movies and that's why I selected him (+ it might throw someone off a bit too, and keep them on their toes) but it was not my intention this time to be very obscure. Randy J J Camden Eric Gordon Carl Witnaur Don Degradi Josh Lyman Paul Ivanovich Jamey Collins Thomas Fink Michael Leary Lloyd Charney
  10. For the life of me I just can't get the video to open up to view full screen. It's Eminence Front by ~The Who~!
  11. I put a little sumpin' extre' in the coffee this morning. Happy Birthday Pawtucket!!
  12. The turkey is in the oven. Three and half hours until we eat. Can't wait. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
  13. I'm going to play. I think Raf's has already expressed whether or not we should play or wait. Dane Cook Geoffrey Rush William H Macy
  14. A growing trend for actors is to keep making movies together. I guess it makes sense, why not. If it ain't broke don't fix it right? The motivation is greedy. Fame, money all that. This doesn't make a great actor or even a good one. Maybe it's not the actor's who are to blame. Maybe there's no great roles anymore?
  15. Criminals can't get away, basically their on an island, but it's the crack team of investigators that always gets their man, that is, until the Governor of Mississippi pardons three escaped convicts after tracking them down.
  16. This guy may have white hair now, I just saw his picture, hope this helps. He does a lot of TV stuff, but he has done his fair share of movies enough so that he would be recognized.
  17. OK. When you said "Just Star Trek" I took it literally. To me there is only one, the original TV show.
