  1. "This is going to be fun! We can stay up late, swapping manly stories, and in the morning I'm making waffles"!
  2. Not sure of any of those characters George. Sorry I can't believe I found that emogie.
  3. Charlie Sheen Wall Street/ Platoon John C McGinley
  4. Son of a gun I keep getting logged out. He wasn't on my list. By comparison, seven years ago Hugh Laurie was earning $400k per show. So I doubt he was in this exclusive club.
  5. I didn't see this post. I was on the other side of the page. Yes, that's right. CS made $1.9m an episode for his last three years of 2.5 men. An a cool $100m for his trouble cutting ties altogether. But he even made more $$$$$$$ after that for his other hit show .................................
  6. That's him and he was paid $1million/episode +plus+ for one of his shows. He actually made even more $$$$$ on his other show. Do you know the shows?
  7. No and no. Think reckless abandon, sexually transmitted diseases with show girls in Vegas, models, and lots, lots, lots of drugs.
  8. I should edit the hint: the actor being paid $1m per episode for two separate shows. I'll give a day maybe two and hopefully somebody will take a crack at this.
  9. Am I? OK. Let's see, let's see, let's see The sun shines,.. and people forget The spray flies as the speed boat glides And people forget...forget their hiding The girls smile....and people forget The snow packs as the skier tracks And people forget
  10. Honestly I have no idea. It could be. I do know that it was the first color film to win the best picture award. (1939) I didn't post what I actually meant to say. What I actually meant to say was this: What was the first film to be released on DVD before it won the Best Picture Oscar?
  11. OK. Was he ever in a Peter Stormare movie? Ha Ha. That was for WordWolf.
  12. What was the first "Best Picture" movie to be released on DVD?
  13. Is that a movie? This reference is over my head and pay grade.
  14. You got four there. You're right George the shows are not older than last two decades. Sopranos, Big Bang, Friends, and Seinfeld are correct. Here's a hint or maybe not, another actor was being paid a millions dollars per episode of two separate shows.
  15. Now I recognize it. Somebody Jacks, "Seasons in the Sun"
  16. Carrie Fisher When Harry Met Sally Billy Crystal
  17. A number of shows on this list are not present day but a few are. I came up with 3 more series that brings my total to 11. Most of these shows are television series with 2 of them being cable network shows. Anyone should be able to come up with 4 or 5 of these coveted million dollars club shows without blinking I would think. But that's me. I've had this little niche in the back of my brain for quite awhile. (as close to a smiley as I can come)
  18. Yes cable shows are in the list as well. In those series some of those shows were paying a single cast member a million a pop but most of them were paying multiple cast members the cool million per episode. Some of them were from older than 20 years ago now. Some of them are present day.
  19. Name 7 television [cable] series that have paid a million dollars per episode to it's cast member(s)? Daily talk show hosts don't count because they are mostly contract agreements. I found 8 series fiddling around the web so if anyone has watched any amount of television in the last 15 years they should be able to count 5 of these iconic television shows on one hand without looking at their fingers. So, give me 7.
  20. Don Corleone used my quote in "The Godfather 2". You're also correct George, It was from Star Trek II but Khan's line was "Kirk ole friend, do you know the Klingon proverb, Revenge is a dish best served cold?". But my favorite is John Creasy (Denzel Washington) in Man on Fire, "Revenge is a dish best served cold!" You're up.
  21. OK. Revenge is a dish that tastes best when it is served cold! I know of this line because it's one of my favorite movies. However, I won't expect those here (most here) to know that movie all that well. But I also know it's been used in a particular movie that many here are very familiar with and it's from a particular genre that many here are quite hip with. I'll accept any character's (or actor's name).
