George I think you have Star Trek on your brain! It's not a bad thing. And Super Heroes! Sorry I don't know these shows.

Sorry. I've been preoccupied. New tune. Well the times are gettin' hard for you little girl I'm a hummin' and a strummin' all over God's world You can't remember when you had your last meal And you don't know just how a woman feels You didn't know what rock and roll was Until you met my drummer on the Grey tour bus

Couldn't come up with anyone to link so looked it (after all it's 51 years old) up and was surprised to learn about Casino Royale. A lot of aging actors who were still very big stars but were now in their twilight years the likes of David Niven, Orson Welles, Peter Sellers, and Deborah Carr. A movie making fun of James Bond. Anyway, after reading some of the reviews I thought that it would be an excellent movie to check out from the video store and watch this weekend. So thanks. And anyway, it's got Ursula Andress so how bad can it be? Deborah Kerr The King and I (60 years old) Yul Brynner

Name that Actor/Actress (or Role)
Human without the bean replied to Raf's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
I'm befuddled. Is this a old school actor WordWolf? Those names seem so familiar to me. -
Yeah Glengarry Glen Ross is worth checking out. It has a powerhouse of actors including Al Pacino, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris, Alec Baldwin, Kevin Spacey, and Jack Lemmon. Pacino was nominated for best supporting actor and Jack Lemmon won the Volpi Cup (Venice Film Festival award). Let's go with the next movie for 200 Alex! Alec Baldwin The Hunt for Red October Sean Connery

Checking in? Oh jeez, I'm still logged in. -
Shame if anyone has to goggle the link to Glengarry Glen Ross. Three generations of remarkable actors in it.

Name the actor whose quotes are in the following list and the movies they came from. Give three of the four movies on the list to win the round. Movie group one "I'm in a dress, I have gel in my hair, I haven't slept all night, I'm starved and I'm armed! Don't mess with me". "I know I am going to miss the heels because they do something for my posture. And I'm suddenly very aware and proud of my breasts". "No no no, I know the only reason you picked me was because I was the only one who looked half decent in a bikini and wasn't on maternity leave". Movie group two "Michael, I want you to have a good time but if you get a girl pregnant out of wedlock, I will crawl into the car and drive up to Oxford and cut off your (penis)". "NO, you hear me Bitch!!! You threaten my son, you threaten me, you so much as cross into downtown, you will be sorry. I'm in a prayer group, and with the D.A., I'm a member of the N.R.A and I'm always packing". "I don't want to name names but one of the coaches took him out to a (booby) bar. Gave him nightmares". Movie group three "If you touch my *ss one more time I will cut your (junk) off in your sleep. Okay"? "Andrew! Andrew! Fine! Fine!! I'll make you editor fine. If you do this Alaska weekend and the immigration interview I'll make you editor. Happy"? "Here take the doggy! Take the dog, I need that phone!! Look at the doggy. I need that phone. Take the dog. Take the dog". Movie group four "I have, in fact, perused some newsreels in the Schwarzenegger Library. Yes. The Schwarzenegger Presidential Library. Wasn't he an actor? Yes! Even though he was born in this country, his popularity at the time caused the 61st amendment which states"........ "Chief, you can take this job, and you can shovel it"! "Let's go blow this guy'. "I was wondering if you would like to have sex"? "You mean *fluid transfer*"? "Looks like he matched his meet. You really licked his *ss". I used quotes that both reveal much of the plot but also give away the actor.

That's it. I hadn't heard that they discovered a new species of shrimp with a pink claw and named it after Pink Floyd. Apparently it can also, make a noise with the claw so loud that it can kill small fish. I posted a link. A shrimp named after Pink Floyd You're up WW.

Gosh, it's not IAMMMW. It's not Airport or Young Frankenstein so what movie had this cast? Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid?
-
Shouldn't that be not a movie that I recognize? You're the expert.

You're absolutely right and that is why WordWolf , I'm putting this aside and going on to another song. Ticking away the moments that make up the dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Those three years of typing really paid off. Something from the 21st century that's received lots of radio airtime. It started with a low light Next thing I knew, they ripped me from my bed And then they took my blood type It left a strange impression in my head You know that I was hoping That I could leave this star-crossed world behind But when they cut me open I guess that changed my mind

OK. Now I see what you guys are hinting about. I spotted Elizabeth Banks in the last post and followed with my post of her in 40 Year Old Virgin (Yes, George, she was in that movie) without noticing that the previous post linking it to Seth Rogen. So, question? What's wrong with that? It's not the same movie. Should it matter then I used the same actor to get to a different movie? I know the answer already. Yes it does. OK. Oh so that's how you can multi-quote. Anyway, I'm confused WordWolf? Is it your play or mine? Meanwhile I am going to look up 40 yr old virgin and investigate some profiles.

Have you tried googling those lyrics? I find lyrics that I like or I don't recognize that way.
