  1. A New Song: When I saw you standing there About fell out my chair And when you moved your mouth to speak I felt the blood go to my feet Now it took time for me to know What you tried so not to show Now something in my soul just cries I see the want in your blue eyes
  2. I'm sorry WordWolf but I don't catch your drift.
  3. Really I got nothing. Just a guess with Peggy Sue Got Married?
  4. No, George, I think it's exactly that because I'm guessing that is just a typo from WordWolf.
  5. A lot of TV roles, but he's been in 100 movies.
  6. This would be the green guy you wouldn't want to make angry would it not. The Incredible Hulk.
  7. I think that ( if I'm reading through the lines correctly) WordWolf is up.
  8. It is and I apologize now for its not really a ballet. I tried to edit that before posting but my time ran out (I'm hurrying to post this now so I don't get locked out) to change that. So Glen Campbell is the artist and the song goes a ways back I think 68' and its called "Dreams of the Everyday Housewife". I remember hearing it a lot back in the day. Glen Campbell was always on the radio and television.
  9. Jeffrey Jones Devils Advocate Charlize Theron
  10. Well, Glenn is the wrong Glen as I said. Just dropped it in there as a hint for you so you guys would get an idea of the genre and the kind of artist that the guy was. He's really country, but he was considered a folk guy too as many artists were of the day. It's ballet song, like Goldsboro's "Honey". She looks in the mirror and stares at the wrinklesThat weren't there yesterdayAnd thinks of the young man that she almost marriedWhat would he think if he saw her this way? She picks up her apron in little girl-fashionAs something comes into her mindSlowly starts dancing remembering her girlhoodAnd all of the boys she had waiting in line The photograph album she takes from the closetAnd slowly turns the pageAnd carefully picks up the crumbling flowerThe first one he gave her now withered todayShe closes her eyes andTouches the house dress that suddenly disappearsAnd just for the moment she's wearing the gownThat broke all their minds back so many years
  11. Glenn Yarbrough is a folk singer, same type of artist as the clue. Bobby Goldsboro is another one. But neither of them is the artist for this particular song.
  12. I saw Goldie one page back but she wasn't in Tango but I know who was: Jack Palance Batman Michael Keaton
  13. Yeah, the song is 50 yrs old. I think you're younger than George or I, so I'm guessing you weren't born yet WordWolf or were just a baby. Am I close?
  14. I posted another clue last week, oh I want to say Saturday, and somehow it didn't show up. Well, well. Let's try it again. She looks in the mirror and stares at the wrinklesThat weren't there yesterdayAnd thinks of the young man that she almost marriedWhat would he think if he saw her this way? She picks up her apron in little girl-fashionAs something comes into her mindSlowly starts dancing remembering her girlhoodAnd all of the boys she had waiting in line Cut and print, that's a wrap! This is a real oldie.
  15. I feel like I'm on an episode of the Twilight Zone right now because I logged in earlier using a different browser and I couldn't find the content I posted here yesterday. This is the kind of stuff that I am experiencing using this site. Why is greasespotcafe.com on the address bar not an htpps:// address? The icon in the corner say that the website is not secure and passwords, credit cards might be used by others.
  16. Does anyone else experience login issues or staying logged in issues, while using this site? I log in evry'time I visit, using my email address , and after failing to login with the path of username and password, I have to use the forgot the password option. Then, log in to my email. and retrieve my request to change my password, then, create a new password, then login entering the new password. Everytime. After I am logged in, after 15 minutes I am auto matically logged off and I have to repeat the same procedure again to log in. It's wonderful. It's been that way now for over a year. Over and over, again and again.
  17. Is this actor the guy who played the priest (Bishop, Pastor,) in There Will Be Blood? Forget his name now. If it is I'll think it up somehow, if not then, I won't worry about it.
  18. I was looking at the clue again when it slapped me like a cold fish across my face. Michael was her x-something and Harvey Keitel was the nice cop chasing Thelma and Louise.
  19. What Lies Beneath Michelle Pfeiffer Lady Hawk
