Those three years of typing really paid off. Something from the 21st century that's received lots of radio airtime. It started with a low light Next thing I knew, they ripped me from my bed And then they took my blood type It left a strange impression in my head You know that I was hoping That I could leave this star-crossed world behind But when they cut me open I guess that changed my mind

That's her. Penny Chenery is her character in Secretariat. Martha Kent her character in three movies, Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel and Justice League. Adrienne Willis in Nights in Rodanthe. Christina Cotter in The Perfect Storm. Connie Sumner in Unfaithful to name a few. You're Up. -

OK. Now I see what you guys are hinting about. I spotted Elizabeth Banks in the last post and followed with my post of her in 40 Year Old Virgin (Yes, George, she was in that movie) without noticing that the previous post linking it to Seth Rogen. So, question? What's wrong with that? It's not the same movie. Should it matter then I used the same actor to get to a different movie? I know the answer already. Yes it does. OK. Oh so that's how you can multi-quote. Anyway, I'm confused WordWolf? Is it your play or mine? Meanwhile I am going to look up 40 yr old virgin and investigate some profiles.

Have you tried googling those lyrics? I find lyrics that I like or I don't recognize that way. -

I've only heard of Sarah Conner Chronicles. Without any familiarity of these others I wouldn't know this one.
-
I know some of their songs by name but not these.
-
So far I don't recognize it. Maybe with a few more lines I might get something.
-
Like I said WordWolf I didn't want to debate anything. So move on.

I wouldn't know this but if I did I would say it might be a song from ~King Crimson~. Every once in a while I come along a group that I've never heard of (for what reason I don't know, maybe I was under the influence of heavy hallucinogens) and they have been around forever and I may even know one or two of their songs, but only now stumble onto their music. Such is the case for ~King Crimson~. I just heard of them about a year or two ago. So, don't know this one.

Ding Ding Ding! I've heard of Laura Mars. Just don't have the foggiest idea who this is. -
Well it's certainly is your right to question whether the spinoffs named by IMDB are correct or not. They define a spin-off as "a new series which contains either characters, a different character or theme elements from a previous series". If Mork was a character from "Happy Days" then "Mork and Mindy" would be a spin-off. I think this is valid . IMDB also defines a spin-off as "characters [who] "are engineered" to introduce a new character on the original television series, just so that character can anchor the new spin-off". I really don't want to debate about this with you WW. I will agree with you though that there is some trouble when you make another show about the same thing and just change the name of the show. "Archie Bunker's Place" was not a spin-off but what fun it is to talk about it in this forum.
-
I knew it was Gloria by ~Them~, ~Tom Petty~ and many others but I didn't want to say anything. So if you want to take it WW go ahead. I guess I was just waiting for someone else to play this thread with me and George.

You seem to remember quite well George. It's Jean by ~Oliver~.

George let's see if this helps.

I'm using a link from wikipedia and I see at least 5 spinoffs for all the top series who spinned off. (Ha Ha) Happy Days had 6 spinoffs. All in The Family had 5.
