It means a celebrity I'll use Morton Downey Jr for an example has a variety show and calls it the Downey Show, that's really about it. I did find that the show had a credit for another previous year but I suspect that it never aired for whatever reason. No, it's not the Sonny Comedy Revue. There isn't a whole lot of plot information to glean from because it only ran one year. Apparently, this variety/ comedy show (I haven't seen before only briefly caught it on the Decades channel the other day) had another reoccurring segment about the "dumbest family in the world".

Oh, I meant John Denver not Bob. George is close. It is mid 70's.

OK. Here' one. The name of this TV show was the name of a celebrity who starred of the show, but not with name that you may be familiar with. Like a lot of variety shows of this period there were appearances by many hollywood elites some the like of Lucille Ball, Karl Reiner, Chevy Chase, Carol Burnett, Sid Caesar, Bob Denver, Mary Tyler Moore, Jack Nicklaus, George Foreman and Freddie Prinze. On the show, one of stars known for his outlandish and unorthodox stand up comedy routines played in a regular skit where he would interrupt the host and tell a joke or perform some shtick. The show was short lived and lasted only a year. There was also a regular appearance by a group or mime troupe of performers that put an extra spin on this comedy show.

I gotta split for a few but, I've got one here I think will stump those playing. I'll put it up later today.

I used the advance search for "my stepmother is an alien" George and I see that you have used this exact scenario of answers several times in your history. I just wondered if perhaps you had a different scenario so we didn't end up with that same one again. Just break up the ice a little bit. Blink twice for yes, once for no. Ha Ha. But it would be nice since LA C. has quite a selection of actors to choose from. Not that I haven't enjoyed Kim Basinger and her beauty. For me her acting is another thing entirely.

Sorry. I forgot about this one. Tell me you choke the chicken before any big date, don't you? Tell me you spank the monkey before any big date. Oh my God, he doesn't flog the dolphin before a big date. Are you crazy? That's like going out there with a loaded gun! Of course that's why you're nervous. Oh my dear friend, please sit, please. Look, um, after you've had sex with a girl, and you're lying in bed with her, are you nervous? No, you're not, why? Cause I'm tired.... Wrong! It's cause you ain't got the baby batter on the brain anymore! Jesus, that stuff will plug your head up! Look, the most honest moment in a man's life are the few minutes after he's blown his load- now that is a medical fact. And the reason for it is that you're no longer trying to get laid, you're actually...you're thinking like a girl, and girls love that.

Oh I forgot about this one. OK. "Have you seen my baseball"? Hey Buddy come here, I think I know where your ball is. You seen my baseball? Yeah I seen it. Yeah. You see that girl over there, only she doesn't call it a baseball. She's got another name for it. (And this character, whispers it to the other character what she calls it). Have you seen my weiner? What? Have you seen my weiner? What the hell did you just say Buddy? Weiner? What the *%&$ did you just say to me? My weiner? You son of a bitch, I'm going to $*R&#*) kick you butt. Whoa, whoa. take it easy! Who the %*% are you? The guys not all there. Get out of my face. Come on. You want the first punch? Fight fight fight fight fight.

This is a favorite of my wife's. She's a big Drew Barrymore fan. Of all the Adam Sandler movies this is about the only one I like. It's The Wedding Singer. It's funny.

Came across a Morgan Freeman trivia question today, (nothing to do with his latest allegation for sex misconduct) and it mentioned that he has won an Oscar for his role in "Million Dollar Baby as best supporting actor. Answered my own question. John C McGinley, sorry I just noticed that I had misspelled it in my post, WordWolf, is the Doctor that everyone loves to hate and the head surgeon (also an established Hollywood actor) on the TV show "Scrubs". Since its a TV role its not giving anything away.

No, that's not it really George. I am a member of a couple of quiz sites and I get trivia questions send to me or I can get on a site and play the game there. The trivia questions can be about anything but a great deal of them tend to be about movie related stuff, movie actors or about directors, oscar related stuff, questions about the bio of some movie actor e.q., "What was Harrison Ford's first credited film role"? or "Has Harrison Ford ever won an oscar award"? and followed by multiple choice or yes or no answers. That's different that Movie Mash-up. -
Oh, Deniro's in that Billy Crudup Almost Famous Jason Lee

Yes, that is the movie. More than 300,000 extras were used in the classic film Gandhi for the funeral scene of Mahatma Gandhi with 200,000 being volunteers and 94,560 were paid extras under contract. 11 crews shot over 20,000 feet of footage that was trimmed down to 125 seconds for the funeral sequence. Yeah, your right, WordWolf. I did change the rules for this one. Actually, I wouldn't mind it if someone would come up with a trivia thread about movies. I've been following some other forums lately and have been intrigued with movie trivia. I don't know if this would violate any rules but I still would like to match heads with those of us who play. -
