Oh, I forgot about this. Give me a few to post something. Jim Morrison could not have pulled of that role imo.

Glen Fry (from the Eagles album Hotel California) This is as close as I can get on this clue.
-
So one of the actors from the first clue was born in 1923 and he starred in a TV show in the 1940's. That would make our war hero about 20. The other two stars were born in 30 and 31 making them teenagers in the show. The Dick Van Dyke show however I don't know how they would fit into that show?

I like this one. Something tells me this is either a show like McHale's Navy with Tim Conway being one of those guys or a show like The Fugitive with David Janssen or somebody (I'm spiff-balling mostly because I get the opportunity to use a word like that) like that who spun off and did his own show? It would help me if I knew what caliper of a star we are talking about? Was the character also a movie star? This show would have had to have been very popular to have it to spin-off into a new show. Usually, this requires some star power.

You can't be talking about Platoon can you be George? Which character would JM have played? Johnny Depp's part? I read Tom Beringer and Wilem Dofoe and I stopped reading this.

I don't know Temple Grandin, I do know he was in LA Confidential however, (next clue) so the correct answer is David Strathairn. I wonder what George thinks about this? If I think I know the answer and find a source whether that be a movie jacket or DVD or album cover and my inclination was correct I would call that just having fun playing a game. However, to be fair if I find that I am incorrect then I withdraw myself from the play and wait for the next round. -

No, of course not. Its just confirming something that you were already familiar with. As long as we're (including myself) not directly googling or asking Alexa, then it's fine. Correct me, anyone, if you think I am wrong? -

Of course.

It looks like my speed reading and comprehension course didn't do anything for me. Thanks. I knew his teachings were inspirational to VP Wierwille when I saw Kenyon's bronze figure in the biblical research center next to Bullinger's and a few others who were Pillars at the ROA. Great stuff. Thanks again.
-
Now here is a question. Why did it take so many years 10 or 15 or 20 years to wake up to VP Wierwille's mind-washing? He wasn't a particularly good looking man. He wasn't a really good orator was he? He stole what other people said and pawned it off as his own without having anything original of his own to say. But why did it take so long to wake up?
-
I've got to respond to this thread. Only a couple of questions about VP Wierwille? Here's a couple: How many works did he plagiarize? How many people did he (or still does he) deceive? How many people's lives as a result of his ministry did he disrupt or destroy? How many women did he sexually assault? These are just a few.

Your rambling Skyrider stick to the facts and you forgot to mention one of his copy-cats E.W. Kenyon.

Had to look this up because I don't know any other movies with Tatum O'neal and I only know she is the youngest Oscar winner for acting at age 10 in Paper Moon, her father is Ryan O'neal and she was married to John McInroe. I don't remember her but apparently she was in Basquiat Claire Forlani Meet Joe Black

No. Wrong apocalyptic movie.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Yes, George, of course that's it. Crimson Tide Now the Popsicle movie was a blockbuster and a very popular movie. "Are you classified as human"? "Negative, I am a meat popsicle". You got a message. Yeah You're not gonna open it? It might be important. Yeah, like the last two I got were important. The first one was from my wife, telling me she was leaving. The second was from my lawyer, telling me he was leaving... with my wife. Ah, that's bad luck. Grandfather say it not rain everyday. This is good news, guaranteed. I bet your lunch. Okay, you're on. Come on...[Reads] You are fired. Oh. Well, at least I won lunch. Good philosophy, see good in bad, I like. [After learning about the mission] Any questions? Yeah. Just one. Why me? I retired six months ago. You remember? Three reasons. One - as a member of the elite special forces unit of the Federated Army, you are expert in the use of all major weapons & space craft needed for this mission. Two - of all the members of your unit, you were the most highly decorated. ...and the third one? Of all the members of your unit, you're the only one left alive. [phone call from President] Major Dallas, I first would like to salute a warrior, you are a shining example of this Army's might, in the name of the Federation and it's territory... Mr. President, Mr. President, any idea when you gonna be getting to the point? O.K. There's a ball of fire, it's 1200 miles in diameter headin straight for Earth, and we have no idea how to stop it. *That's* the problem. How long do we have? If its speed remains constant, in an hour and fifty-seven minutes. I'll call you back in two hours.

Sorry George apparently WW and Raf are out for this round and I didn't mean to leave the flick so abruptly. Let's let the movie reveal itself and then I'll go back to other "popsicle" one. OK. Mr. COB! Yes, sir? You're aware of the name of this ship, aren't you Mr. COB? Very aware, sir! It bears a proud name, doesn't it, Mr. COB? Very proud, sir! It represents fine people. Very fine people, sir! Who live in a fine, outstanding state. Outstanding, sir! In the greatest country in the entire world. In the entire world, sir! And what is that name, Mr. COB? Alabama, sir! And what do we say? Go Bama! Roll Tide!
