TWI was my childhood - the good and the bad.

In a few weeks, I will be headed to Russia to do some research on Roma. I can't help but wonder if I have always been so interested in marginalized groups because of my own experiences with feeling like an outsider - as a kid, never quite comfortable in my friends' churches, never quite at home in the house of "non-believers". I pray to God that the experiences that I have had will somehow help others to discover wholeness and peace.
